MANAGEMENT - anemia 1. Eat Iron-Rich Foods - Some good iron-based foods are liver, red meat, tofu, spinach, almonds, dates, lentils, fortified breakfast cereals, almonds 2. Increase Vitamin C Intake - Low hemoglobin levels due to a deficiency of vitamin C can be corrected by eating more foods rich in vitamin C. 1. Take bland diet, avoid spicy, oily, fried and junk food2 eat and drink slowly. 3. Avoid fatty food, carbonated drink like soda/ soft drink/beer, chewing gum, sucking hard candy etc, 5. Avoid gas forming food like onion, bean, peas, potato, lentil, lettuce, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, mushroom, whole wheat bread. Fruits like apple/peach/pear 6. Avoid stress, anxiety 7. Stop alcohol/ smoking 8. Go for regular exercise and avoid sedentary life style 9. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning 10. Take unienzyme 1 tablet thrice daily after food for few days.

Symptoms of Migraine 1.Unilateral Headache, eye pain 2.Throbbing and pulsating pain 3.Nausea and Vomiting 4.Increased sensitivity to light and sound 5.Feeling of Dizzy or Faint Cause Unknown. May be due to decrease in brain chemical-serotonin which regulates pain in the nervous system, genetic,environmental factor Triggering factors a) Hunger (missedmeal) ,drinking alcohol (redwine),/coffee, tea) b) Inadequatesleep, stress, anxiety,depression, agitation, bright light/sun glare c) environmental factors like glaring light, Loud noise, strong smell/prfume/passive smoking d) weather changes, high altitude, e) use of oral contraceptive, hormonal changes like oestrogen fluctuation during pregnancy, menopause, hormonal replacement therapy f) continuous use of cell phone g) salted food, aged cheese, processed food (Treatment- Not curable, but can be preventable. Crocin/naproxen/ibuprufen, Prophylaxis-vaso constrictor like ergotamine/ serotonin antagonist like tryptan (sumatriptan)/tricyclic anti depressants like amitryptiline/B blocker like propranolol/Vitamin B2 (riboflavin- milk, egg, mushroom)/ magnesium) 1.Take crocin Pain relief one Tablet sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily at the time of attack, apply ice pack, massage scalp/temple 2.Drink plenty of water and take rest. 3. Avoid stress, anxiety, depression, agitation, exposure to loud noise, bright light, strong smell inadequate sleep, continuous use of cell phone since it precipitates migraine attack 4.Avoid salted /processed food, aged cheese, excess tea/coffee/alcoho (red wine)/caffeinated beveragesl. Don’t skip/postpone your meal, avoid hunger since it triggers the attack 5. Go for regular exercise, reduce weight if over weight 6. Practice yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve you from stress 7. If You have chronic migraine, you have to take migraine prophylaxis like propranolol/ vasograin after consulting physician 8. Consult neurologist to exclude other causes of headache and if required, take CT scan of brain.

From my childhood I got my hands and feet too much cold that no one wants my touch at evening time and my body shakes that I can not stay normal just shaking and shaking. This is same for all the seasons but only happens at early morning and after evening and sometimes daytime too.

Dear user since your bilirubin is more you are requesting to avoid Mango since mango is heavy to digest and your liver is not in good shape to get it digested. It is better if you give adequate rest to your liver and eat lite meals a day and plenty of oral fluids. Thnx.

It seems as if you are bothered with constipation/irregularities of your bowel habbits. Let me tell you how can your digestive system be regularized. First of all have a look at your life style. Regular sleep and dietary habbits, in most of cases do suffice. Any addictions, may be smoking, drinking, tobacco chewing etc. Also have bad effects on digestion. In addition, compulsorily mixed type of salad must be present at each time when you eat. Add fruits of season to lunch. Extra effort for the problem may be taken in the form of 2 spoons of honey added to half a cup of lukewarm water every morning empty stomach is excellent remedy. A week or so, if followed the above, still persistent, medicines may be prescribed. Not now. Hope satisfied regards.

Ivf vs. Surrogacy: which is the better option?

Both IVF (in vitro fertilisation) and surrogacy are alternative methods of having a baby and can be resorted to when a couple cannot conceive the natural way. The reason behind the inability to conceive can be due various reasons ranging from infertility and low sperm count (in men) to damaged fallopian tubes and early menopause (in women).

You can opt for either surrogacy or IVF if you've been trying to conceive for more than a year without any results. But which of the two should you opt for? well, there are three things you must keep in mind before making a choice.

How does it work?

Surrogacy is opted for when the woman is unable to conceive by natural means, and when there's no possibility of her getting pregnant whatsoever. Surrogacy can be of two types- full surrogacy and partial surrogacy. Full surrogacy involves the implantation of sperms and eggs of the couple into the uterus of the surrogate mother; while partial surrogacy involves the fertilisation of the surrogate mother's egg by the sperm of the intended father. By opting for surrogacy the woman partner is unable to carry the child, a desire that is present in most women.

On the other hand, ivf works towards the treatment of infertility in one or both the partners, enabling the woman partner to conceive the child. Ivf involves the fertilisation of a woman's eggs by the sperm of the intended father in a laboratory dish. The developed embryo (or fertilised egg) is then implanted in the woman's uterus. This is a viable option for couples who want to have a baby on their own.

Chances of a successful pregnancy are usually higher with surrogacy when compared to IVF.

The risks involved

Risks of surrogacy include multiple births, ectopic pregnancy (implantation of the fertilised egg in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus, leading to miscarriage) and birth defects in the child, to name a few. Apart from that, the genes of the surrogate mother can affect the development of the unborn baby; hence, a surrogate mother has to be chosen with utmost care.

As for risks associated with IVF, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (swollen and painful ovaries), multiple births, ectopic pregnancy and stress can take place if ivf is opted for.

The legal process

Surrogacy requires the fulfilment of complex legal processes such as determining eligibility, matching profiles of surrogates with intended parents, finding of a potential surrogate and more, which require proper legal counselling. Besides the cost of surrogacy in India is roughly inr 8, 25, 000.

Ivf does not involve any such processes and is easier to carry out. The cost of IVF in India can range between inr 2, 50, 000 to inr 4, 50, 000, making it a much more viable option.

Based on these factors, you can make the choice of a procedure that is best suited for you.
