Is the urine routine test shows no signs of infection, she should manage her fluid intake so as to take maximum portion during daytime and avoid glassfuls of water after 8 pm. In any case, after 5th month her urine pressure should reduce as the uterus how's out of the pelvis into the abdomen.

Blood group has nothing to do in getting pregnant, if your baby's blood group comes out to be positive, which will be known only after delivery, then you will need an injection of anti-D to clear the effect of positive group from your blood to keep the future pregnancies safe. If a lady with nagative blood group has an abortion, then also she needs anti D injection

You may feel sexually more attracted towards your partner in the third month of pregnancy because of the increased energy levels and blood circulation to your genitals. Also, it is perfectly safe to continue to have sex during pregnancy.`

Hi I am 25 years old and I got married 10 months back. I was 5 months pregnant. Suddenly 1 week back I got severe pain near pelvic region early morning and when we reached hospital they said the baby moved till vagina and there is no chance of baby survival. I delivered male dead baby that day but his weight was 370gms and his formation was not good as his intestine developed outside his stomach. I got ultrasound scan at my mid 4th month but they said everything was good. I too didn't felt any abnormality. I used all medicines prescribed by my doctor without fail. It was a sudden abortion without any reason. The doctor said the cervix opened and baby reached till vagina. I want to why abortion happened and why my baby development was not not good?

MBBS (Gold Medalist, Hons), MS (Obst and Gynae- Gold Medalist), DNB (Obst and Gynae), Fellow- Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (ACOG, USA), FIAOG
Gynaecologist, Kolkata
Development may not be good due to various reasons- like defects in its gene, some drugs or unknown causes. But these should have been detected by scan. Now this abortion was probably due to "cervical incompetence" where cervix opens before time. We have to rule out possible causes before planning next pregnancy and give you proper care before and during pregnancy.

Hi Swati weight gain you had could be due to hormonal imbalance. Please first check for hormonal profile and afterwords start diet low in carbohydrates high in protein, rich in fruits and vegetables. Avoid oily, junk food, bakery products.

Hi, vomiting at 5 months pregnancy is not normal. Vomiting in pregnancy occur in 1st 3 months. Your wife may be having gastritis. She should avoid spices, fried food, excessive tea coffee, soft drinks. Take food in small amounts at frequent intervals. Drink plenty of water.

Hello Doctor, Pregancy main normal sugar level kitani honi chahiye, aur diabetes main baby ko kya harm ho sakata hai?
sugar level would be same as in normal but high sugar in pregnancy causes over weight of baby, shoulder dystocia may occur at the time of delivery, so in this case operational delivery would be the choice.
