Dengue Fever के बारे में संक्षिप्त जानकारी निचे दी गयी है :
Dengue Fever क्या है ?

Dengue Fever यह एक viral बीमारी है जो की Dengue virus के 4 प्रकारों में से किसी एक प्रकार के Dengue virus से होता है। जब कोई रोगी Dengue Fever से ठीक हो जाता है, तब उस मरीज को उस एक प्रकार के Dengue virus से लम्बे समय के लिए प्रतिरोध / immunity मिल जाती है परन्तु अन्य 3 प्रकार के Dengue virus से Dengue Fever दोबारा हो सकता है। दूसरी बार होने वाला Dengue Fever काफी गंभीर हो सकता है जिसे Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever कहते है।

Dengue Fever कैसे होता है ?

Dengue Fever हवा, पानी, साथ खाने से या छूने से नहीं फैलता है। Dengue Fever संक्रमित स्त्री / मादा जाती के Aedes aegypti नामक मच्छर के काटने से होता है। अगर किसी व्यक्ति को Dengue Fever है और उस व्यक्ति को यह मच्छर काट कर उसका खून पिता है तो उस मच्छर में Dengue virus युक्त खून चला जाता है। जब यह संक्रमित मच्छर किसी स्वस्थ व्यक्ति को काट लेता है तो Dengue virus उस स्वस्थ व्यक्ति में चला जाता है।

Aedes aegypti मच्छर की कुछ खास विशेषताए निचे दी गयी है :

यह दिन में ज्यादा सक्रिय होते है.
इन मच्छर के शरीर पर चीते जैसी धारिया होती है.
ज्यादा ऊपर तक नहीं उड़ पाते है.
ठन्डे और छाव वाले जगहों पर रहना ज्यादा पसंद करते है.
पर्दों के पीछे या अँधेरे वाली जगह पर रहते है.
घर के अन्दर रखे हुए शांत पानी में प्रजनन / breeding करते है.
अपने प्रजनन क्षेत्र के 200 meter की दुरी के अन्दर ही उड़ते है.
गटर या रस्ते पर जमा खराब पानी में कम प्रजनन करते है.
पानी सुख जाने के बाद भी इनके अंडे 12 महीनो तक जीवित रह सकते है.
Dengue Fever के लक्षण क्या है ?

संक्रमित मच्छर के काटने के 3 से 14 दिनों बाद Dengue Fever के लक्षण दिखने शुरू होते है। Dengue Fever के लक्षण निचे दिए गए है :
तेज ठंडी लगकर बुखार आना
सरदर्द
आँखों में दर्द
बदनदर्द / जोड़ो में दर्द
भूक कम लगना
जी मचलाना, उलटी
दस्त लगना
चमड़ी के निचे लाल चट्टे आना
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever की गंभीर स्तिथि में आँख, नाक में से खून भी निकल सकता है
Dengue Fever का इलाज क्या है ?

Dengue Fever का रोकथाम / Prevention ही इसका सबसे अच्छा और बेहतर ईलाज है.
Dengue Fever की कोई विशेष दवा या vaccine नहीं है.
एक viral रोग होने के कारण इसकी दवा निर्माण करना बेहद कठिन कार्य है.
Dengue Fever के इलाज / चिकित्सा में लाक्षणिक चिकित्सा / symptomatic treatment की जाती है.
Dengue Fever की कोई दवा नहीं है पर इस रोग से शरीर पर होने वाले side-effects से बचने के लिए रोगी को डॉक्टर की सलाह अनुसार आराम करना चाहिए और समय पर दवा लेना चाहिए।
रोगी को पर्याप्त मात्रा में आहार और पानी लेना चाहिए। बुखार के लिए डॉक्टर की सलाह अनुसार paracetamol लेना चाहिए।
बुखार या सरदर्द के लिए Aspirin / Brufen का उपयोग न करे.
डॉक्टर की सलाह अनुसार नियमित Platelet count की जाँच करना चाहिए।
हमारी रोगप्रतिकार शक्ति Dengue Fever से लड़ने में सक्षम होती है, इसलिए हमें हमेशा योग्य संतुलित आहार और व्यायाम द्वारा रोग प्रतिकार शक्ति को बढाने की कोशिश करनी चाहिए।
Dengue Fever के बचाव के उपाय क्या है ?

जैसे की मैंने पहले भी लिखा है, Dengue Fever का रोकथाम / Prevention ही इसका सबसे बेहतर ईलाज है।
Dengue Fever के बचाव के उपाय निचे दिए गए है :
घर के अन्दर और आस-पास पानी जमा न होने दे। कोई भी बर्तन में खुले में पानी न जमने दे.
बर्तन को खाली कर रखे या उसे उलटा कर कर रख दे.
अगर आप किसी बर्तन, ड्रम या बाल्टी में पानी जमा कर रखते है तो उसे ढक कर रखे.
अगर किसी चीज में हमेशा पानी जमा कर रखते है तो पहले उसे साबुन और पानी से अच्छे से धो लेना चाहिए, जिससे मच्छर के अंडे को हटाया जा सके.
घर में कीटनाशक का छिडकाव करे.
कूलर का काम न होने पर उसमे जमा पानी निकालकर सुखा कर दे। जरुरत होने पर कूलर का पानी रोज नियमित बदलते रहे.
किसी भी खुली जगह में जैसे की गड्डो में, गमले में या कचरे में पानी जमा न होने दे। अगर पानी जमा है तो उसमे मिटटी डाल दे.
खिड़की और दरवाजे में जाली लगाकर रखे। शाम होने से पहले दरवाजे बंद कर दे.
ऐसे कपडे पहने जो पुरे शरीर को ढक सके.
रात को सोते वक्त मच्छरदानी लगाकर सोए.
अन्य मच्छर विरोधी उपकरणों का इस्तेमाल करे जैसे की electric mosquito bat, repellent cream, sprays etc.
अगर बच्चे खुले में खेलने जाते है तो उने शरीर पर mosquito repellent cream लगाए और पुर शरीर ढके ऐसे कपडे पहनाए।
अपने आस-पास के लोगो को भी मच्छर को फैलने से रोकने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करे.
अपने आस-पास में अगर कोई Dengue Fever या Malaria के मरीज का पता चलता है तो इसकी जानकारी स्वास्थय विभाग एवं नगर निगम को दे, जिससे तुरंत मच्छर विरोधी उपाय योजना की जा सके.
Dengue Fever के ज्यादातर मरीजो की मृत्यु platelet या खून के अभाव में होती है। मेरी आप सभी से request है की जरुरत के समय रक्तदान / Blood Donation करने से बिलकुल न घबराए और साल में कम से कम दो बार Blood Donation जरुर करे.
कई लोग Dengue Fever में Platelet Count बढाने के लिए पपीते के पत्ते का रस पिने के सलाह देते है। पपीते के पत्ते का रस पिने के बाद कई मरीजो में platelet count में सुधार होते हुए देखा गया है। इसका कोई ठोस पुरावा नहीं है और न कोई research हुआ है.

Hello, there can be many reasons behind it like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anaemia. *Make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. *Eggs as it is loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amount. *Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. *Avoid stress and anger. *Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. *Take a sound sleep. Take homoeopathic medicine Lycopodium 30 (4 drops in little water) twice a day for 15 days and update with the feedback. Apply jobarandi hair oil.

For all your problems your short time sugar levels should be within normal range like in different time of day on getting up after food and during sleeping hours. For which consultation and advice with your doctor, repeated follow up, monitoring,proper medication, diet and exercise is a must. Once the readings are proper long term control like HbA1c should be examined to find good control. Erectile Dysfunction sometimes is a complication of uncontrolled and long duration diabetes and may be corrected by a diabetologist or a urologist. Consult them for this problem Viagra has to be taken only on advice of your physician which may help in sexual performance but has no role in having a baby.

 hair fall? I'm 25 now.
Apply almond (badam) oil daily. ?Apply oil of liquorice (mulethi) on hair. ?Apply lemon oil on hair before hair wash. ?Apply oil obtained from fruit of neem. ?Chop some onions (pyaz) into fine pieces and squeeze out the juice. Apply this to hair and scalp and leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse it with shampoo. ?Crush a few cloves of garlic (lehsun), add in a little coconut oil and boil for a few minutes. Cool it till it becomes warm and apply it on the scalp with a little massaging action. Repeat two to three times a week for best results. ?Take coconut milk and add a little water to it. Apply this to the scalp and allow it to stay overnight. Rinse this the next morning. ?Add two teaspoons of amla juice/ powder and mix with equal quantity of freshly squeezed lime juice. Mix well, apply to the scalp and leave it to dry; then rinse using warm water. ?Take some flowers of rose (gulab) add some water to it and make a paste. Apply it on hair and keep it for an hour and then wash the hair.

Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. Or take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Drink 5-10 teaspoons (15-20 ml) in morning and evening for strong digestive system. Or you can take amla powder 1 teaspoon with water for strong digestion. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. I am sending the diet chart. Follow it in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid soft drinks, western fast food (burgers, french fries, pizza etc. They disturb your digestion. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day.

Hi, fluorosis as such cannot be treated. What can be done is, we can just mask the color of the tooth with procedure called" veneering" or we can go for" crowns" for discolored tooth.

5 Reasons For Stunted Growth

A sharp reduction in the normal growth rate in individuals is known as stunted growth. Though it may happen naturally, it can also be a result of malnutrition, diarrhea, infections, etc.

It may also result from the malnutrition of the mother during the development of the fetus. It often results in the following complications:

  1. Premature death
  2. May affect mental development and growth
  3. It is believed to be hereditary with the danger of passing on to future generations

The following are some reasons for stunted growth:

  1. Poor maternal nutrition: A child requires utmost care after the birth and while the child is in the mother's womb. Poor maternal nutrition and insufficient consumption of breast milk are considered as important reasons that result in stunted growth in children.
  2. Sanitation: The household's sanitation is considered as a factor that can affect the growth of children. Poor sanitation facilities often lead to lack of appetite and breakout of diseases like diarrhea which consequently leads to the stunted growth in children.
  3. Malnutrition: This is considered as one of the major reasons that cause stunted growth in children. Children need proper nutrients and the lack of it adversely affects the growth of children. It is due to this that cases of stunted growth in children are mostly found in poverty stricken areas and family.
  4. Hereditary: Hereditary reasons have found to influence stunted growth in some children. A family that shares history of delayed growth often continues to produce children who are not sufficiently developed with respect to physical structure.
  5. Use of drugs by mother: Stunted growth in children is as much reliant on external circumstances as it is on the mother. If the mother has a history of using illegal drugs, alcohol or smoking for a long period of time it has often been seen to result in underdeveloped children.

How to Accept Yourself

1. Focus on your positive qualities. It’s true that we can all improve in some ways – but start by finding your good qualities – and recognise that these are a major part of who you are.

2. Be aware of, and fight against, your negative self-talk. Negative self talk can quickly snowball and become an angry tirade against yourself – so you become your own worst critic and your own worst enemy. Instead, choose to respect yourself, to love, affirm and believe in yourself.

3. Don’t dwell on things you know you cannot change. We all have imperfections, weaknesses and flaws. They’re really not that crucial, and they’re not that big a deal. Try to keep them in perspective – and change what you CAN change.

4. Make your own decisions – don’t always look to others, and think that they know better … But choose to trust yourself.

6. Always try to do your best – as that’s all that is required. You’re a normal human being who’ll sometimes get it wrong. Get up, forgive youself, then just choose to move on.

Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. Take a tablespoon of honey daily with warm water. It is an excellent home remedy for obesity Take one teaspoonful of fresh honey and mix with a half of lime juice in a glass of lukewarm water. Easing Your Dental Anxieties

Dental anxiety or the fear of dentistry has been a buzz word for many to ignore and avoid trips to the dental chair unless there's a very strong pain related stimulus to do so.

While going to the dentist has never been perceived as a pleasant predicament to be in, the levels or degree to which they feel this unpleasantness, can vary widely from person to person.

There are those of us who just feel like procrastinating the appointment and then there are those of us who cannot sleep the previous night and pass out or throw up when we actually make it to the appointment.

Scientific basis underlying this is the degree of fear that you associate with the experience, so no matter whether you are just anxious or downright phobic here are a few things that'll help you keep your emotions and fear in check.

All talk no work -discussion based appointment.

If you're anxious or phobic it helps to ensure that you have all your concerns addressed before you jump on to the chair. (and so to speak the unknown)

Help your dentist identify the things that maybe difficult for you. People are usually scared of particular things like for some of maybe the sound of the drill, for others the water in their mouth so ensure you identify and communicate what's most unacceptable to you so that the dentist can be cautious and customize your treatment.

Timing is key

Fix your appointment before pain hits.

Communicate the degree of fear while making the appointment or request a tele consult to discuss your particular concerns.

Try and schedule a time when you can ensure the doctor is expecting you and won't keep you waiting so your anxiety doesn't grow.

Do your research

When choosing a practice ensure you know what their philosophy is in general and how do they manage dental pain, anxiety and phobias.

It would be advisable to ensure you are going to a practice trained and geared to manage your specific issues.

Besides being a great dental clinic with the right team and technology -the doctor needs to empathise with the reality of dental fear and should be trained to treat you in a different way then regular patients who can

Check in advance if the practice is painfree.

If you do end up doing the procedure,

Break your fear into bite sized chunks

Then ensure you choose to start with a smaller treatment and a shorter session like a cleaning or something that you don't attach fear to.

Once you have a rapport with the doctor you tend to build trust and get comfortable you can start coming in more regularly.

Do not do an internet search on your problem or talk to friends or relatives

The worst thing an anxious patient can do is tap the wrong resource for information. Please ensure that you are not self diagnosing and finding things that match your symptoms online. Things appear way more gory than they actually are on the internet! another mistake that people make often is discussing their dental problem with friends and family who further scare you with their bad experiences and your fear is compounded to a point where you now think all their cumulative dental mishaps are sure to happen to you.
Our advice is follow the above steps find the right doctor and then just sit back relax and enjoy your smile!

I have a back pain from last two months. What can I do for this, please tell me as soon as possible.
Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -Apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --While sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Good posture plays a key role in your spine health, helping to prevent additional back and neck pain and even injuries to spinal structures. Try to be aware of your posture and make good posture part of your normal routine. -head up, shoulders back, rear tucked under -Stand and walk with correct posture -Sit with support -Lift and carry carefully -And finally, keep moving:-Maintaining a static position for too long—more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time—is hard on the back. Prolonged static posture can slowly deplete elasticity from the tissues. By simply moving—be it a change of position, a stretch, or a short walk—the tissue elasticity needed to protect your joints can be restored and the associated discomfort reduced. -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -Some Physiotherapy treatment like IFT current can give you relief. -Consult a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your back pain. 1. Keep your temptation to bathe your newborn every day. Don't bathe your baby more than 3 times a week. Excessive bathing removes required oils from the baby's skin, making it prone to rashes.
2. Avoid baby products in the early months. These products are very harsh on an infant's tender skin.
3. Take your newborn's hygiene very seriously. Make sure that clothes are properly cleaned before your baby wears those.

I have yellow teeth.  What should do?
Kindly get scaling and polishing done and if you want you can also get bleaching done. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique to maintain your oral hygiene.

For the time being drink hot milk and 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder (pure) in it. Do thrice a day. If pain doesn't go in a week, pl get tests, X-ray done.

Hi lybrate-user - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. Eating too fast leads to overeating, so chew slowly to digest your food better and control how much you eat. - use a smaller plate to control your portion sizes and avoid overeating. - know your cravings and do not snack when you're emotional. It is said that you crave crunchy and savory food when you're stressed, frustrated or lonely. Figure out what you crave and replace them with healthier alternatives. - do not eat mindlessly; concentrate on your food instead of watching tv or playing with your phone to avoid overeating. - do surya namaskar 10 times daily to reduce extra fat from body.
