1.Take 11 guava leaves, 11 black pepper, 1 cup milk and one cup water. Put all of them in pot and boil it well, when it reduced to one cup, drink in empty stomach. Take this daily for at least six months or a year. 2.Boil cumin seeds in water and inhale the steam. It helps dilate the bronchial passage. 3.Take 5 gm of ginger, black pepper, cardamom, clove, cinnamon, turmeric and 30 gm of sugar. Grind the mix to a powder. Take half to one teaspoonful and mix it nicely with honey. Take it twice a day 4.Pulses like old rice (rice which is stored for at least one year is called old), wheat, barley, kulattha, mung beans, arhar beans, etc . should be consumed. 5.Honey, warm drinks like herbal teas, spice teas are also okay. 6.Sprouts, nuts and seeds can be taken in moderate amount. 7.The heavy foods and those which make ama should be avoided. This mainly includes milk products like cheese, curd, butter milk, creams, and banana, etc. 8.Oily, greasy and fried foods which are difficult to digest should be avoided. 9.White flour and white sugar products should be avoided. 10.In addition, try to avoid the cold foods, cold drinks and other refrigerated things. 11.Avoid excessive or physically demanding exercise. Whenever I eat rice, my face becomes swollen. Same happens with potato. What to do?

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
Ayurveda, Bundi
This is a kind of food which your system is not accepting. Better to follow the principle of nidaanparivarjan i. E. Avoid the cause. Then some antiallergenic and detoxifying herbs may be taken for some time to cleanse the system and create immunity.

What a snake bite a person what precautions should be taken what doctor is not immediately available when we are in jungle which help is easily available.

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
1. Note the Snake's Appearance Be ready to describe the snake to emergency staff. 2. Protect the Person While waiting for medical help: Move the person beyond striking distance of the snake. Have the person lie down with wound below the heart. Keep the person calm and at rest, remaining as still as possible to keep venom from spreading. Cover the wound with loose, sterile bandage. Remove any jewelry from the area that was bitten. Remove shoes if the leg or foot was bitten. Do not: Cut a bite wound Attempt to suck out venom Apply tourniquet, ice, or water Give the person alcohol or caffeinated drinks or any other medications

Doctor I have asthma problem and fell very bad when it stat I feel problem to breath What to do to refuse this problem.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Bronchitis/ asthma can be treated well with homoeopathic medicines completely, only need to be regular with the medication and avoid those foods/ things to which you are allergic to for sometime. Keep taking your already on going medication, reduce it gradually and slowly once homoeopathic starts acting. Take bakson's astha-aid drops/ 10-15 drops in 1/2 cup water/ thrice d day for 1 month. Report me back after a month.

What medicines to take and food habits to follow if a person is suffering from asthma?

What medicines to take and food habits to follow if a person is suffering from asthma?
Lybrate-user, avoiding animal milk is of great help. But specific food avoidance is based on allergen test. Random stopping all foods or fruits is foolish post icecream cough/cold water cough is preventable by gargles immediately after eating.

Sir. I am a patient of sinusitis and asthmatic bronchitis and I take montair lc tablet from previous 2 years and I also take treatment of homeopathic and ayurvedic medicine but it does not get any relief from disease so. Sir, what I have to do for my treatment.

Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (DLO), MBBS
Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Specialist, Bangalore
You are making a mistake by taking three different forms of medicine. Stick to any one either allopathic, ayrvedic or homeopathic. Allergy seems to be the culprit. Living in delhi with a highly polluted air cover one will land up with an asthmatic bronchitis. Wear a mask as far as possible when you go outdoors. Sinusitis could be because of a deviated nasal septum / enlarged inferior turbinates for which an ent check up is needed.

Asthma at present can be treated with medications like inhalers and tablets, regarding permanent cure there are options like sublingual immunotherapy, consult a nearby ent specialist or allergist or respiratory physician for further workup and to determine if you are a good candidate for sublingual immunotherapy.

Bronchodilators and short course of steroids form the mainstay of treatment. These are best taken in metered dose inhalation.
