Now I am taking medicines Ibset tablet Nisprox 40 mg Normaxin tab Doctor said to take for one month From 15-3-16 Two days back I did all blood test Sugar Lipid profiles Creatine Liver function test CBc T3 t4 tsh Electrolytes And ct scan also But everything is normal In abdominal scan they found small two three PCOD ONLY Menstruation is correctly for every month No thyroid Now I have severe stomach pain Especially after taking medicines So what should I do Can I take any pain killers.

MBBS, MD - Community Medicine
General Physician, Jaipur
I think you doctor suggest good treatment to you. As you said, all the investigations are fine. No further investigations are required. IBS is a kind of disorder related to lifestyle/ personality. Therefore, consult some doctor in person/ private consultation at Lybrate would be more helpful as it needs substantial discussion to understand problem. Meanwhile will suggest to follow: 1. Eat healthy food. Avoid junk/ spicy/fried/oily foods. 2. Eat homemade food including more fibres in your diet (plenty of salads, vegetables, seasonal fruits, and complex carbs like Dalia, oats and whole wheat bread etc.). 3. Eat all your meals on time. 4. Take a light and early dinner. 5. Try to keep yourself active. Exercise, do brisk walk, take a break between works and stretch yourself in between. 6. Keep yourself stress free as much as possible, have meditation/ yoga etc, it will help in long term (don't expect short term benefit) 7. Avoid tea/ coffee, it causes gas.

What measures should be taken after a gall bladder surgery? How should it affect daily habits?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Delhi
You need to take medicines that can help in removing them naturally such as our medicines combination of herbal and homeo that will help in removing stones via motion passage. Gall bladder gets diseased due to an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. This leads to an imbalance of the acid-alkali balance in the body which causes the cholesterol to precipitate in the gall bladder leading to stone formation. Over time, these may get infected and lead to an acute inflammation, pain, fever etc. A stone may move ahead into a narrow passage or the duct and get stuck leading to severe agony. The safest and way that should be used to remove gall stones is removing it naturally, not just remove gall stones from gall bladder but also remove the cause of gall stones. Some of the common symptoms of gall bladder stones include: - severe pain in the upper abdomen that starts suddenly and lasts from 30 minutes to many hours. - pain under the right shoulder or in the right shoulder blade. - nausea or vomiting. - indigestion after eating high-fat foods, such as fried foods or desserts. Also there is treatment for this to cure naturally with our herbal and homeo medicines only, no need to undergo surgery or operations just take medicines for 35 days and expel stones on 36th day. This process will not just help in cleansing gall bladder but also the cause of stones which is sludge in liver and body.

Looks like a fissure in ano. Fissures may be caused by constipation, passing of large, hard stools, by prolonged diarrhea etc. It has been seen that fissures are associated with increased resting anal pressure due to spasm of internal sphincter muscle of anal canal. You need a surgical consultation for evaluation & treatment.

What are the common causes of diarrhea among children? and sign and symptoms of sever dehydration.

MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
What causes diarrhea Diarrhea may be caused by a temporary problem, like an infection; or a chronic problem, like an intestinal disease. A few of the more common causes of diarrhea are: Bacterial infections. Several types of bacteria, consumed through contaminated food or water, can cause diarrhea. Common culprits include Campylobacter, Salmonella, Shigella, and Escherichia coli. Viral infections. Many viruses cause diarrhea, including rotavirus, Norwalk virus, cytomegalovirus, herpes simplex virus, and viral hepatitis. Food intolerances. Some people are unable to digest some component of food, such as lactose, the sugar found in milk. Parasites. Parasites can enter the body through food or water and settle in the digestive system. Parasites that cause diarrhea include Giardia lamblia, Entamoeba histolytica, and Cryptosporidium. Reaction to medicines, such as antibiotics, blood pressure medications, and antacids containing magnesium. Intestinal diseases, like inflammatory bowel disease or celiac disease. Functional bowel disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome, in which the intestines do not work normally. Here are some signs of dehydration to watch out for: Sleepiness. Irritability. Thirst. Less elasticity in the skin. Eyes and fontanel (or soft spot on head) appear sunken. Decrease or absence of tears. Dry mouth. Decrease number of wet diapers.

I have stones in my gall bladder; is there any method of dissolving those and removing without operating and removing the gall bladder?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Ludhiana
Although the gallstones cannot be removed with medicines but being a homoeopath and with an experience of 20 years besides me,I have developed certain technical medicinal combinations with which our gallstones will be removed completely but the percentage of removal of gallstones is 70% ( means if out of 100 patients ,70 patients were removed of gallstones.)This is very high percentage and I am very much confident about it.consult me if you dont want to go for surgery. You will have to purchase a package of 2+2 months ( Including medicines )from me as we cant get these medicinal combinations in market.

I have problem of hair failing and gastric since two month. Please advice me what should I do?
Please note the following in respect to your queries: there can be many reasons behind your hair fall - like mental worries, nutritional deficiency, hereditary and anemia. Take homeopathic medicine baryta carb 200 (5 drops in little water) one dose and revert after 2 weeks. Apply jaborandi hair oil. Drink 8-10 glasses of water daily. Eat healthy and balanced food like pulses, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and nuts etc. Add more vitamin rich food to your diet. Avoid stress and anger by meditation. Cut down the use of hair spray, hair gel. Take sound/good sleep. Avoid too much exposure of your hair to sunlight/ hair styling tools, as they damage hair and cause split ends. Consult me for homeopathic treatment.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome - 5 Homeopathic Remedies For It

BHMS, MD - Homeopathy
Homeopath, Delhi
Irritable Bowel Syndrome - 5 Homeopathic Remedies For It

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or spastic colon is a rather common intestinal tract disease which is characterized by sharp pain in the stomach, stomach gas, diarrhea or constipation. It is a chronic condition whose exact cause, although unknown, is sometimes attributed to the dysfunctional production of the neurotransmitter, dopamine.

There is no particular treatment for IBS. However, the symptoms can be brought under control through various methods. The symptoms of IBS can be controlled by making lifestyle changes such as incorporating certain modifications to your diet and reducing or managing stress levels. For severe symptoms, you may require medications.

Patients may also consider homeopathic treatment for a rather wholesome effect and lesser side effects. The purpose of homeopathic treatment is to stimulate the body’s inner self-balancing mechanisms. In order to achieve this, this person must be provided with the right solution at the right time. Since homeopathy aims at treating the root cause of the problem, the treatment is stretched over a longer period of time. Additionally, homeopathy functions by stimulating the natural healing capabilities of the body. Some of the common homeopathic medications that can be used to treat IBS are listed below:

  1. Pulsatilla: Prepared from a medicinal plant known as wind flower, Pulsatilla is effective in the cure of IBS with its remedying effect on the gastrointestinal tract.
  2. Nux Vomica: This too is derived from a plant and has a positive effect on the digestive and nervous system, thereby being effective in the treatment of IBS.
  3. Sulphur: It is one of the most common choices among homeopathic practitioners for IBS. Sulphur affects the digestive tract and is helpful in the treatment of intestinal gas and constipation. It is usually prescribed for individuals who are rather thin and physically weak.
  4. Lycopodium Clavatum: This is mainly prescribed for people with diarrhea and stomach gas. This drug acts specifically on the gastrointestinal tract
  5. Asafoetida: This drug is prescribed when there is a fairly common constriction in the bowel muscles.
