Hormonal imbalance is very common in women who are about to reach their menopause. The setting of menopause can lead to a variety of symptoms like moodiness and depression to hot flashes, insomnia and vaginal dryness. Homeopathy has remedies which are very helpful in relieving the symptoms of menopause, when chosen for an individual as per their history. Homeopathy stimulates the person’s healing response to a certain stimulus, allowing the person to heal on their own.

Here are a few homeopathic remedies:

Pulsatilla:This is for women who are mild, sensitive and weep very easily during the perimenopause stage. These women might whine when unhappy and are very depressed and sad. The women who need this medication prefer company, companionship and support. She is often uncomfortable and warm in hot rooms especially while experiencing hot flashes. The remedy is helpful in cases of insomnia and empty nest syndrome, a syndrome when children leave home. This often coincides with change in a woman’s life. Pulsatilla is very helpful for hormonal imbalance including during the menstrual cycle and peri-menopause phase.

Cimicifuga:This is recommended for those women who suffer from severe headaches during perimenopause. The headaches are characterized by a pain in the right side of the neck, which often extends to the right shoulder. This remedy is also helpful in women who feel disappointed and trapped in their lives. Some women who have a feeling of being caged and surrounded by dark clouds also benefit from this. It is considered to be a perfect remedy for many women who experience hormonal changes at the menopausal stage of their lives.

Sepia:This remedy is especially helpful for perimenopause and hormonal imbalances. This is helpful in women who feel exhausted and chilly. Sometimes a woman might develop an aversion to her family members especially the children and does not want to care for them. Sepia is known to help women overcome these feelings, enables them to reestablish stability and balances hormones. Some women also get a feeling that their inside are bearing out and get a sensation that their uterus and vagina might fall. This feeling and sensation is eliminated by sepia. Sepia is also helpful for the host flashes, dryness, vaginal irritation and moodiness during this phase of their life.

Lachesis:This is indicated in the perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms like the night sweats and hot flashes. This remedy is capable to provide a relief from the occipital headaches associated with the changing hormones. Women who need lachesis might be witty, loquacious, nasty, crib and complain about the body pains which are more significant on the left side, like the left ovary discomfort. I think you are talking about masturbation not menstruation. Anyway it is very common in any age. You can minimize it by socializing your life, try to indulge in other activities which you like, be creative, play sports, take healthy diet, make a plan for avoiding it, stop watching movies which have sexual content.

No need of taking any more pills ,if fertilisation does not happen you will not get pregnant, and if you miss your due dates you can clear all doubts by doing a urine pregnancy test.

10 Foods to Avoid During Digestive Problems!

Taking a balanced diet not only helps in maintaining overall health also helps in curing indigestion. The right mix of carbohydrate, protein, water, fat, vitamin, salt and fiber is important for the body to function well. Apart from maintaining a healthy diet, it is also essential to refrain from food that triggers indigestion. 

Here is a list of worst food for digestive health:

  1. Dairy Products: Dairy Products contain a protein called the casein. This protein can be highly allergic and inflammatory. Its strong insulin response can hold up fat and makes someone look fatter than his usual self. Lactose, the carbohydrate found in milk is extremely difficult to digest. If you are lactose intolerant, you should make it a point to stay away from dairy products such as kefir and yogurt to ensure smooth digestion.
  2. Gluten: This protein molecule is found in barley and wheat. Gluten is extremely difficult to break and has the capability to create a lot of damage. The unbroken molecules of gluten cause inflammation and bloating. People, who have GI issues, should definitely eschew gluten to ensure food digestion.
  3. Sugar: Patients suffering from indigestion should stay away from sugar related products such as candy, cake and crackers. Intake of sugar product increases the rate of inflammation, feeds harmful bacteria and suppresses the immune system. No wonder it is one of the worst food to consume, if you are suffering from indigestion.
  4. Fake fats: Fake fats are extremely difficult to digest and make the cell membranes more rigid. It can also show symptoms such as cramps, loose stools and bloating.
  5. Gums: Guar and xanthan gum are proved to be responsible for causing colitis. People with bowel disease are strongly suggested to stay away from gums and thickeners in order to avoid indigestion.
  6. Soy: Soy possesses protein inhibitors. It is an enzyme that restricts digestion. The carbohydrate content of the soy does not get recognized by the GI system. This leads to bloating, cramps and gas.
  7. Nightshade vegetables: Vegetables such as potato, bell pepper and tomatoes contain a compound called solanine. The latter is known to be responsible for indigestion. People with a compromised GI should not consume these vegetables at all.
  8. Red Dye: May fast food item contain a red dye which is known to decrease the production of energy, disturb nerve signaling and is an inflammatory agent.
  9. Sweeteners: Fake sweeteners show GI symptoms such as bloating and gas. Replacing this with sugar is not at all a good idea since it causes indigestion over a period of time.
  10. Legumes and beans: Legumes and beans contain compounds called saponins and lectins respectively. They are a major cause of a leaky gut and inflammation. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Gastroenterologist.

U need to learn quadriceps strengthening exercises from a physiotherapist and do the same 20 mins 3 times a day. Also get your vitamin d and uric acid levels (blood tests) and revert back with reports.

Hello- If you love your partner thn you should be cautious for her health. Contraceptive pills are hormonal in nature and can poses a threat to your partners wellness. Use ultra thin condoms or calendar method for safe sex.

We normally advise a couple to wait one year before going for tests, but if you or your wife are anxious or there is any history of irregular periods, previous surgery etc, you can go for tests erlier you.

Add some oil to your diet. Doing something as simple as swallowing one tablespoon of oil (canola, olive, sunflower, soybean) daily can add lubrication to your body. You can insert a vitamin E capsule vaginally for lubrication to ease the pain caused by female dryness. You don’t even have to break open the capsule; just insert and your vagina will dissolve it for you. You may want to do this at least 30 minutes before though. It’s one of the least expensive and most natural ways of treating vaginal dryness. If you find yourself in the heat of the moment you can also cut open the capsule and place the vitamin E oil in the palm of your hand, then put some on your finger or your partners and insert it into your vagina. When experiencing female dryness always lubricate yourself before having intercourse. You can try products such as Replens, as well as other lubricating products such as Astroglide and the old standby, K-Y Jelly. You can also go a more natural route and use coconut oil and other fruit and vegetable oils such as almond oil or olive oil as lubricants. Apply inside the lips and up into the vagina. It will feel very cool and soothing. Another natural lubricant is saliva. Remember, a menopausal woman’s ability to lubricate is not totally gone, it just takes longer and requires more foreplay. Manual stimulation works fine, but oral stimulation works better and faster. The stimulation can take awhile, but if a woman needs longer to become lubricated, remember she will also get aroused during that time and her clitoris erect for orgasm.
