Top First-Aid Homeopathic Remedies

If you are looking for effective first-aid remedies, you can opt for homeopathy. A first-aid kit should be a part of every household, containing medicines which serve a variety of medical conditions. For putting up a first-aid homeopathic kit, you need to add around 10 homeopathic medicines to start with as homeopathy is an ideal branch of medicine, which is efficient for a lot of first-aid purposes. Here is a list of the top first-aid medicines, which should be a part of your homeopathic kit:

  1. Arnica- Arnica is the best homeopathic medicine in case of all types of injuries and shocks. It helps in moving blood back into the blood vessels. This medicine is ideal for every injury or pain-related first-aid. It is good for curing strains and sprains, and also essential in case of jet lag and extreme exhaustion.

  2. Aconite- This medicine is used in cases of sudden emotions and intense anxiety. It is effective for all kinds of health issues, which occur after being exposed to cold, windy, and dry weather conditions. This is an ideal first-aid remedy for cough, cold, fever, and chill. Aconite is also used during a panic attack.

  3. Apis- This homeopathic medicine is used in cases of swelling, redness, and heating of the skin along with stinging pain. It is commonly used in case of insect bites and bee stings. It also serves as an emergency medicine in the cases of anaphylactic shock.

  4. Argentum Nitricum- This medicine is an important first-aid remedy, which should be taken in case of anxiety, tension, and fear before some event. It is used when palpitations, diarrhea, burping, and stomach distention are experienced.

  5. Arsenicum Album- This homeopathic first-aid medicine is used in cases of food poisoning accompanied by diarrhea and vomiting. A person tends to feel cold, and is usually afraid of being alone.

  6. Belladonna- Belladonna is a popular homeopathic medicine, which is used in the case of fever. A person’s skin becomes hot and red, the pupils get dilated, and a throbbing pain is experienced. It is an effective first-aid remedy for mild sunstrokes and intense, throbbing headaches.

  7. Bellis Perennis- This medicine is specifically used where there is a bruising of soft tissues such as the breast tissue, and other internal organs. The medicine is effective after a fatal injury or blow. It is a good remedy for internal bruising, following a hysterectomy.

It is important for you to consult a homeopathic practitioner or go through several homeopathic books for coming up with an ideal homeopathic first-aid kit, covering all the important medicines.

Off lately my hairs have started falling frequently. I haven't changed my oil or shampoo. Pls suggest some remedy.

Off lately my hairs have started falling frequently. I haven't changed my oil or shampoo. Pls suggest some remedy.
The common reasons behind hair fall are lack of essential nutrients in the body, improper and unhealthy dietary habits, hormonal imbalance, certain medications, dandruff, alopecia and other scalp disorders, stress and tension etc. Natural oils such as coconut, olive, jojoba, almond etc. Can be used to massage the scalp for countering hair fall. Gently massage the scalp prior to head bath twice a week. Also check hemoglobin for anaemia and thyroid status with serum tsh. Have more proteins and trace minerals like copper, zinc, selenium in diet. Start taking a hair nutrition supplement. Keep stress away with regular exercise, yoga, meditation. Get the underlying scalp condition like dandruff treated. You can buy hairfall package offered by me which includes medicine and consultation. Homoepathic treatment without side effects for long lasting results.

My friend is suffering from depression for 2 years. Can you please tell me that how can I help him?

MBBS, MD - Psychiatry

My friend is suffering from depression for 2 years. Can you please tell me that how can I help him?
The best thing you can do for him is to encourage him to seek help, and support him during the process. I suggest you consult a psychiatrist as two years is a long time for him to be like this. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely that he will be able to come out of it. Keep a close watch on him; if he begins to voice suicidal ideas or feels hopeless/worthless, take him to the psychiatrist immediately. Other than that, involve his family or friends who care about him to ensure he gets the appropriate treatment. Remain posted and aware of any changes in behavior.

Hello, a previous pp. Case has an increased 10 per cent chance of a repeat pp. But if managed under a good gynecologist and pp. Protocol is followed risk can be indeed minimised.

Vasectomy - 5 Myths Debunked!

Vasectomy - 5 Myths Debunked!

Vasectomy is synonymous with sterilizations and is one of the most stress-free procedures for couples who want to limit their chances of pregnancy and child birth. It is a process that has been perfected over the years and is still the most reliable method to avoid impregnation. However, there are still some myths and allegories associated with it. Though these have considerably reduced in the modern age, there are still some pockets of the world where this is prevalent. Come, let us take a look at some misconceptions and myths regarding vasectomy and the actual truth behind them.

Myth 1: Your sexual performance gets affected.
This is one of the most common misconceptions that are associated with a vasectomy. This is the number one reason why many men are hesitant to go for it fearing that their sex life could get hindered leading to nonperformance.

Truth: This is incorrect. The idea behind a vasectomy is to avoid pregnancy, and there is no reason as to why it would hamper your sex life. You will be able to lead an active sex life, and semen production will also be normal.

Myth 2: Testosterone production will be nil after vasectomy
Sperms are made in the testicles, and hence this myth came into existence that once a vasectomy is performed, you would be unable to produce any sperms and testosterone.

Truth: The simple truth is the myth is entirely baseless. Your sperm production is never eliminated and only your tube for the distribution of sperms is closed by a vasectomy. Hence it in no way affects your sperm production. A vasectomy does not have any effect on the production of testosterone.

Myth 3: Vasectomies stops sperm production
Many people assume fertility with sperm production. Hence once a vasectomy procedure eliminates the fertility aspect your sperm production automatically stops.

Truth: No. This is incorrect. Vasectomies never stop sperm production. They only restrict the sperms from entering into the semen. Sperms have a lifespan of about four days. Hence it is only natural that they are removed and replaced.

Myth 4: You are completely sterile post the surgery
It is easy to assume that you are sterile after you have the surgery. There is no way that having sex can lead to a pregnancy.

Truth: While there is a lot of truth in the above, there can be some instances of live sperms below the procedure point. The complete process of sterility can take about 4 to 5 weeks to occur and for all the sperms to get relinquished. Hence it is safe to not have sex for these weeks. It is also safe to get a semen analysis post the surgery.

Myth 5: Vasectomies are fool proof sterility methods
The high success rates in the procedure have made everyone believe that vasectomy is the sure shot to infertility. It is also 100% efficient.

Truth: While it is true that a vasectomy has a high success rate it is certainly not 100%. There can be instances where there are failures in a vasectomy, and this will not curtail your sterility. There are even known cases when couples have been able to conceive even after a vasectomy. Though the chances are extremely high of becoming sterile, the procedure is not fool proof.

I have 4 day my nose is red full cold me pls give me reply how to recover very fast pls tell me.

AUTLS, CCEDM, MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
There are several things you can do to prevent a cold—they are all easy and inexpensive and worth the effort. Wash your hands often-with soap and warm water. The germs stick to the soap and get washed down the drain. Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. Cover Your Mouth and Nose When You Sneeze or Cough- Clean your hands every time you cough or sneeze. Avoid Touching Your Eyes, Nose, or Mouth-Germs are often spread when a person touches a contaminated surface and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth. Stay Home When You’re Sick-Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, don’t smoke, manage stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food so you can fend off viruses. In general you should: -Take healthy balanced diet...like boiled eggs.daily in breakfast .. -Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Routinely clean and disinfect common areas of your home. -get plenty of rest so your body can use its energy to fight the cold -staying at home will keep you from spreading germs -drink plenty of liquids like herbal tea or hot broth/vegetable/tomato soups. Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can keep you from getting enough sleep -Runny Nose and Sneezing- if you have post nasal drip, gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. Drink extra fluids. (avoid sugary and high calorie drinks) -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation • Tablet Nasorest-P once/twice daily may reduce the amount of mucous. • Do steam inhalation once or twice daily Treatment:There is a gradual 1-3 day onset of symptoms. It often starts out as a sore throat, then a fever and coughing. As the cold progresses, the nasal mucus may thicken which is the last stage before the cold dries up. A cold usually lasts for a week or two. But, taking good care of yourself at home can relieve symptoms and help prevent complications if you are otherwise healthy. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn’t need medical treatment. Complications include bacterial infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs which must be treated with antibiotics. Cough-Coughing is how your body gets rid of debris and mucus from the airways during a viral infection. Unless your cough is severe or is keeping you from resting at night, it is better not to treat it. A severe cough can be treated with a cough syp, but don’t try to completely stop the cough. There are two types of coughs. Productive and non-productive or dry cough. Non-productive, dry cough. A dry, hacking cough may develop near the end of a cold. Dry coughs that follow viral colds are often worse at night and can last up to several weeks. Take syrup Alex-D for a dry cough. Cough drops can sooth an irritated throat, but most don’t affect the cough. Productive cough. A productive cough is one that brings up mucus from the back of the throat or the lungs. Productive coughs should not be suppressed to the point they no longer bring up mucus. Use syrup Alex. Drink lots of water if you have a productive cough. Head and Body Aches- Take tablet dolo-650 mg for fever once or twice daily
