Diabetes is not a concern in the treatment of cavities.. 6- Cavity Having cavities is not a serious problem at all. Cavities which are not too deep can be excavated and be restored by a dental cement. Cavities that are very deep can be cured by root canal treatment followed by crown ( cap ). For better prevention of cavities , 1- Follow proper brushing technique. 2- Brush twice a day 3-clean your teeth immediately every time after you eat fiid or liquids. 4- Undergo scaling ( cleaning of teeth) at the interval of every 5-6 months. 5- Visit dentist for regular oral cavity check up every 4 months for the early diagnosis and prevention of dental diseases. There are many ways to whiten your teeth. At first you can try home remedies then over the counter products and then if you are not satisfied with that then professional bleaching in dental office is a definitive solution for your problem. Before everything you should borne in mind that you should brush your teeth two times daily. Always use soft bristled brush and be gentle on your teeth and gums while brushing. Learn proper brushing technique. This will help you to clean your teeth efficiently and effectively. As a home remedy you can apply baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) paste by adding some water to it. Apply this paste on teeth and brush your teeth. Do it once or twice a week. You can also use snowdent whitening toothpaste for 2- 3 months to see the results. If it doesn't help you then you can discuss professional bleaching of teeth with your dentist. Hope this helps you. Thanks.

Kindly get scaling done and use mouth wash twice daily for 15 days. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique. Also notice that you are not constipated most of the times as this is also one of the reasons for bad breath.

gum disease can be prevented

BDS
Dentist, Gurgaon
gum disease can be prevented
Prevention starts with good dental care habits. Brush your teeth at least twice a day and floss once a day. Flossing reaches the places the toothbrush can’t, about one-third of the tooth surface. Practice good overall health habits. Eating a well balanced diet and quitting smoking improves your overall health and your oral health. A professional cleaning done in the dental office is the only effective way to remove the hardened tarter that leads to gum disease. Also one of the things your dentist looks for during an examination is any sign of gum disease.

Dentist, Jaunpur
Don't rush, when you brush: For maximum results, brush your teeth for atleast 2 to 3 minutes.

X ray should be taken based on how deep the cavity is filling or a root canal has to be carried out by a dentist.

Dentist,
Drinking a cup of tea everyday helps in keeping the gums and teeth healthy as it contains high amounts of flouride and flavonoids which prevent harmful bacteria from sticking to the teeth.

•If your cavity in the tooth is caused by decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection.

My teeth becomes yellowish suggest me something to get white teeth again naturally.
Yellowness of teeth might be due to tartar and stains on the teeth surface, which does not go by itself. You need to go for a professional cleaning of teeth that will remove stains and tartar so that they can be white again. Teeth cleaning is a recommended process every six months.

At what age tonsillectomy is required and what are the precautions to be taken after it?

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
At what age tonsillectomy is required and what are the precautions to be taken after it?
A tonsillectomy is a surgical procedure to remove the tonsils. Tonsils are two small glands located in the back of your throat. Tonsils house white blood cells to help you fight infection, but sometimes the tonsils themselves become infected. Precautions: don't take aspirin or other medications containing aspirin for at least two weeks prior to surgery. Don't eat anything after midnight before the scheduled surgery. Your surgeon should provide you with instructions about eating food and drinking liquids prior to reporting to the hospital. Make arrangements for a ride home. Plan for 10 days to two weeks or more of recovery time. Adults may need more time than children do.
