My hairs were all fine but since I have came to Bangalore I can see many of my hair have started falling and even are returning white, and I'm also frustrated with dandruff. What do I do?

Hair fall and greying of hair is always due to an underlying diet issue, change of water or change of climate. The climate may not be suiting you. But to combat hair fall, here are a few diet tips which may really help you. It will also take care of the greying of hair. Using castor oil to oil your hair will help immensely in increasing the thickness of the hair. Slight dietary modifications will greatly help to reduce the hair fall. You can include flax seeds (alsi) in your diet. Roast a pack of flax seeds and store it in a container, consuming a teaspoon a day will greatly help reduce hair fall. Also include sabza (falooda seeds) in your diet. You can soak a teaspoon in half a cup of water and consume it. Having a diet rich in protein and zinc will help reduce hair fall as well. Do include greens, sprouts, almonds and walnuts in your diet as well. For dandruff, using khadi neem and tea tree oil is very effective.

I am 19 years old have white spots in body. It is like growing white skin. What should I do?

White spots on skin can occur due to a number of reasons, of which conditions can be mild or severe. The condition can be mild or severe, and generally covers the majority of the skin on a particular area of the body. They may also cause irritation or itching. The occurrence of whites on the face can be extremely distressing. People affected with this problem should obtain medical advice to diagnose what is causing the condition and the suitable treatment. Causes of White Spots White spots on the face occur for various reasons. Understanding some of these reasons may be beneficial in treating the condition. Furthermore, understanding the cause can also help people avoid certain circumstances that increase the risk. 1. Tinea Versicolor This is a chronic fungal infection of the skin. Also known as pityriasisversicolor, this fungus causes discolored patches on the skin as it interferes with the normal pigmentation. The color of the patches may be darker or lighter than the surrounding skin and most often, affects the back and trunk of adolescent males. Exposure to sunlight, hot, humid weather, oily skin and excessive sweating may aggravate the condition. 2. Vitiligo This is a skin condition that results in the loss of melanocyte pigmentation of the skin. This results in white patches that feel as if it is part of the skin. The cause of vitiligo is unclear although it is believed to be an autoimmune disease. However, mild trauma to any area of the skin including the face can also result in the development of vitiligo. Vitiligo can affect the face, hands and feet, elbows and genital area. 3. Idiopathic Guttate Hypomelanosis White spots on the face may also be due to Idiopathic Guttate Hypomelanosis, a skin condition resulting in 2 to 5 mm flat, white spots commonly found on the shins and forearms. This skin condition mostly affects fair skinned people, although it may occur in dark skinned individuals too. The white spots may occur more commonly in people over the age of 40. 4. Pityriasis Alba This skin condition is common in children aged 6 to 12. It is a rash that appears on the face, neck and arms, and is not easily differentiated between normal skin. The rash may be covered with skin flakes resembling light dust. The cause of Pityriasis Alba is not known and is often considered as a form of eczema. This condition is often mistaken with vitiligo. However, while vitiligo has a distinct border, Pityriasis Alba does not. Treatments for White Spots on Face The medical treatment for white spots depends entirely on the root cause that underlies the condition. There are certain things that you can try to accelerate the process of treatment . Some of these mentioned treatments are professional while others are home remedies. Home Remedies .  For treating vitiligo, consumption of ginger juice is recommended as it promotes blood flow. neem seed oil applied to the affected area will also bring beneficial results.  Idiopathic Guttate Hypomelanosis may not require treatment as it is harmless. However, topical steroids and retinoids may help treat the condition.  Treatment for Pityriasis Alba may not be necessary although the application of a moisturizer or hydrocortisone creams may help the disappearance of these patches.  Washing the face with mild soaps and exfoliating the skin at least twice a week with a honey, rice, turmeric and sandalwood powder paste can treat Tinea Versicolor. So identify your problem of white spots with the help of your local doctor so that appropriate treatment is given or send me your picture depicting those white spot along with the complete hitory of your spots,so that I am clear in making a diagnosis.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hello sir. I am 32 and un-married. I have been masturbating regularly since last 6/ 7 years. I can not stop masturbating. If you want to stop masturbating do not look at porn & get your mind off of it. If you still get the urge to, ignore it for a about 15 minutes & it'll go away. Masturbating from time to time is completely normal for a guy. Relax and try to concentrate on your studies and/or sports that you are good at. Hi, Your dad is suffering with diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Chronically high blood glucose can affect nerves of arms/hands, legs and feet. Patients can experience symptoms like burning sensation, pin prick sensation, stabbing pain, numbness etc of their hands and feet and if severe may go to the arms and legs too. 1. Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2. Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3. Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4. Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Dear they are supposed to be ganglion cyst. They are harmless as long as they are not painfull. If it is too big and looks cosmetically odd then you can go for surgical removal of it. Otherwise they jus dissappear themselves take care.

DIET TO LOSE WEIGHT

Wouldn't it be a dream if you could enjoy your favourite food and lose weight? Losing weight and to follow particular diet can be hard, but it is possible if you have healthy diet plan. Many of you have heard that the best way to lose weight to join a gym and workout for hours. However, being a nutritionist I would say diet plays 80% role and exercise plays 20% role. The body of each person is different and so the different calorie requirements. Make sure you provide enough calorie to your body through 3 major meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), include food rich in carbohydrates, protein, fiber and low in fat and a healthy snacks at least twice a day. Here is a general guideline, how you can make your own healthy menu.

EARLY MORNING:

Start your day with these metabolic booster supplements and keep your body fresh and energetic throughout the day. This can be achieved through having a tsp of overnight soaked methi seeds, cinnamon powder, wheat grass powder or a glass of thin buttermilk with mint leaves.

BREAKFAST:

Breakfast is the first meal taken after rising in the morning to regain metabolic activity of our body. It is rightly said that breakfast is to break the overnight fast. It is very important that you should take breakfast every morning which comprises of all types nutrients from various food groups.

Poha, upma, pancakes, muesli, egg whites and brown/multigrain bread toast are few good options to provide enough calorie and nutrients to your body.

MID-DAY:

Fill yourself with guilt free food and keep your energy level high. To keep your body energy level high take light food at 2 – 3 hours gap after breakfast. At this time you can have a cup of green tea, handful of nuts or a fruit.

SNACKS TIME:

A snack is a portion of food often smaller than a regular meal, it should be rich in anti-oxidants. Also natural food at this time will help you to satisfy your need of something crispy & crunchy. Have a cup of green tea or normal tea / coffee along with khakhra, peanuts, kurmura, biscuits of ragi/oats/multigrain flour and a roasted chana.

LUNCH & DINNER:

Lunch is a mid-day meal where in dinner is the last & important meal of the day. It should be divided into 4 courses.

First course is soup or salad which will help stomach a quick rest to our hunger. Second is the carbohydrate source – include roti made up of jowar /ragi /bajra /oats /flaxseed powder /soya. Third course is vegetable a good source of micro nutrients (vitamin & mineral), have different colours of vegetables every day to enjoy the goodness of nutrients and the fourth and most important course is protein add curd, sprouts, pulses, dal helps to rejuvenate your skin, hair and muscles.
