I am having cough since 3 days. I can't sleep properly at night nor can work because I keep on coughing. My throat always itches and I can't stop coughing. Please suggest some cure to get relief from this cough.

1. Do warm saline gurgling 3-4 times daily 2. Take honitus syrup 2tsf thrice daily 3. You may have to take antibiotic along with it if no relief 4. do blood examination like CBC, ESR and consult doctorfor further advice

I have a fever for over 3 days. I'm going to hospital put the tablet so fever is reduced. Now I'm normal condition. But I realized a stomach pain sir (bottom of the stomach). Stomach pain realized after putting the tablet. What I should sir?

It could be due to gastritis1.Take bland diet, avoid oily, spicy and junk food, 2. Don't skip or postpone your meal, 3.Have proper breakfast 4..Drink plenty of water 5Take one tablet of Rantac 150 mg twice daily before food 6. If no relief consult.

I am suffering from sinus problem. Daily morning I have cough problem. Sneezing and running nose. What can I do.?

I am diabetic since 17 years and hyper tensive since 11 yrs, using GLIMULIN MF FORTE in the morning, JANUMET 50/1000 in the afternoon, GLIMULIN MF in the night. CONCOR AM 5 mg in the morning, TELMA 40 in the evening, GABAPIN NT 400 twice daily, ECOSPRIN AV 75 in the afternoon. But since last 3 months I have been facing episodes of severe gas trouble with bloating but no pain in the stomach. For this the doctor had suggested RIFAGUT 550 mg twice daily for 5 days, then after the recurrence in 1 month he again prescribed RIFAGUT 550 mg for another 5 days along with VSL-3 once daily for 10 days after lunch, again there was an episode after 15 days FLUDAC 10 mg capsule was asked to be taken at the night. Now I had taken it for 4 days and yet yesterday night the same problem reoccurred. I have observed that in all these episodes there is one thing common in my diet which is watermelon. I doubt that it's high fructose level is the culprit. After eating the gas trouble starts with in 3 hrs and the gas doesn't stop for another 3 hrs, during this I have to continuously force out the gas through mouth or else my stomach and chest keeps ballooning out and a false feeling of heart trouble is being felt by me due to which we had to undergo ECG which was normal. After browsing in the Internet I doubt that I am having fructose intolerance please suggest.

Watermelon is known to cause gas. Pl. Have it in the morning or noon when there is some physical activity. Also sprinkle some black pepper power& some roasted cumin seed powder so that it does not cause gas.

1.Take paracetamol 500mg,1 tablet as and when required after food up to a maximum of 3 tablets daily, 2.Drink plenty of water 3.Take rest 4.Avoid stress /Anxiety and have adequate sleep

Hi, take tab. Septillin 2-0-2 after food and rhinorin lehya 1 tsf twice daily followed by milk for 3 months continuously. Avoid cold and refrigerated food. Do steam inhalation twice daily. Avoid sweets and oil fried food. Perform pranayama daily in the morning for 10-15 mins.

Dear Sir/Maam My grandma is suffering from hip fracture. She is 76 years old. She is admitted in dispur hospital guwahati now. On being a biopsy test prescribed by doctor here she has been found with lungs cancer advance stage. Now doctors are not able to operate her fracture area due to her sugar and sodium imbalance. I can share the reports if you wish. She is in hospital for 10 days now. We are very confused what to do. Anaesthesia doctor says she may or may not survive at the operation theatre. Please help.

In such type of cases Patient is advised for skin traction bed rest for 3. Months along with physiotherapy. If bone not unite in such duration then it will goes to 4or5 or6 mths according to fracture healing. There are lots of patients which Are not operated due to lots of diseases but their fracture unite in 3_4monts. In such cases there is slight shortening of leg happen but can managed by modified footwear.

You have erectile dysfunction problem. I advise you to tell me your weight, height, eating habits and any addiction to alcohol or cigarette for better treatment. You can use viagra once a week but it has its side effects.

4 common habits that damage your heart

Certain habits can cause damage to your heart even if you maintain a healthy diet and exercise regularly. According to researchers, working people having who have a desk job are more prone to suffer from heart conditions due to stress in their work life, lack of proper rest, limited movement, etc. Most of the times you tend to ignore your bad habits as the side effects do not occur immediately but can cause serious damage to your heart. Following are the common bad habits that you should avoid for a healthier heart-

1. Sitting all day
Something as seemingly trivial as it is, sitting all day can have an adverse effect on your heart. According to studies, if your job involves sitting on a desk for more than five hours then you have double the risk of suffering a heart failure compared to a person who has an active lifestyle. Make sure you take at least a five minute walk in an hour to reduce chances of hardening the arteries. A sedentary lifestyle has serious side effects on your overall health too.

2. Stress too much
Stress causes the body to release adrenaline which influences the way your body functions. In that case there might be an increase in heart rate or your blood pressure level. Over time, stress can cause damage to the blood vessels in your heart and increase your risk of sudden stroke or heart attack.

3. Overdoing it on salt
Excessive sodium can spike your blood pressure thereby making your more vulnerable to heart conditions. Processed foods like potato chips, canned vegetables, frozen meals and meats contain a fair amount of sodium which can have an adverse effect on your heart. It is important to take the nutritional value of these foods in account before purchasing it so that you get the ones with lowest amount of sodium.

4. Not getting enough sleep
The heart rate dips when you sleep and goes up and down as a response to your dreams in various stages of your sleep. It is important for your heart to rest as it actively works in your waking hours. Sleep deprivation has similar effects on your heart like stress and can wreck your cardiovascular health. It is of utmost importance to sleep for at 7 hours to keep your heart healthy.

My son in his tenth month a toddler, he doesn't have a sound sleep, in the night on a average 1 hour he gets distracted, we have to feed him or make him sleep. Also he roles a lot. Both sides. He is a tummy down sleeper. What can we do to improve. We are giving solid foods, fruits etc.

When the child do no sleep at night and irritable most common cause of it is that the child get hungry at night or he might be suffering from flatulence. Feed him at night with solid food. Tie him diaper at night during sleep.
