go for filling of the teeth with or without rct depending on the extent of decay. brush the teeth are important as it removes accumulated plaque and calculus preventing gum infection and decay.

In some individuals , amlodipine can cause swelling in the feet . Stop amlodipine and ramipril and start tab olmezest H 20mg once daily .. Hope the swelling goes . You should consult after one week of change in medications

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

Hello,Drink plenty of liquids and cut down her fat, salt and sugar intake. go for a morning walk daily at least for 30 minutes. Take a sound sleep and try to avoid anger. Revert after 15 days with feedback.

In the our community, high blood pressure (HBP), also known as hypertension, is a common health condition to say the least. In fact, more than 40 percent of population have HBP, according to the American Heart Association. Whether it?s a close relative or friend, there?s a good chance that you know someone with HBP. Unfortunately, it?s considered the norm, but it doesn?t have to be that way at all.
Higher rates of obesity and diabetes and plain ole genetics put African Americans at a higher risk for HBP. Not to be taken lightly, HBP that?s left untreated can lead to a stroke. If you take medication to help control your blood pressure, then by all means, continue following your doctor?s orders, but perhaps ? just perhaps ? the best medicine is a new, healthy lifestyle. The following suggestions can not only lower your blood pressure but reduce your need for medication. Keep reading to find out what they are.
1. Lose weight.
Only do so if you?re overweight or obese. Need some convincing? Essentially, the more weight you lose, the better your blood pressure. Also, if you?re already taking medication(s) to treat your HBP, losing weight will help make those medications more effective.
2. Exercise often.
We all know how chaotic life can be at times, but it?s important to squeeze in at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day or every other day. Exercising regularly can lower your blood pressure as much as 4-9 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg).
3. Change your diet.
This means avoiding salty foods, including potato chips, French fries, pretzels, lunch meat and pasta sauce. Boosting your potassium intake and eating more fresh fruits and vegetables and low-fat dairy products can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm Hg.
4. Reduce stress.
Don?t neglect yourself. It?s important to take a little time to relax and unwind by participating in activities that you truly enjoy, whether it?s jogging, power walking, reading, listening to music or going to the movies. And whatever it is that seems to trigger stress in your life, figure out a way to eliminate or avoid those triggers as much as you possibly can. You might find it helpful to learn a few stress management techniques for when the going gets tough.
5. Eat more dark chocolate.
Dark chocolate seems to be the food that keeps on giving. Not only does it boost your energy and reduce inflammation, but did you know that just one small square a day can lower your blood pressure? This is due to the fact that dark chocolate is rich in antioxidant flavonoids. Now, that?s sweet!
6. Avoid alcohol and tobacco.
We?re not saying that you have to completely swear off drinking because after all, what is a good party, vacay or get-together with friends without an ice, cold pi�a colada? Try to keep your alcohol consumption to no more than one glass per day.
As for smoking, besides lung cancer, COPD, heart disease, infertility and the other dangers of smoking, tobacco products can raise your blood pressure. Although difficult at first, quitting certainly has its health benefits and pays off in the long run.

Most common risk factors are family history, smoking, alcohol, high cholesterol, after 40, diabetes, bp etc. Some time reccurent central or radiating type of chest pain, breathlessness on exertion, swelling in the limbs are symtoms. Somtimes asymptomatic also. Simple test like ecg in opd level can provide information about heart problems along with risk factor assessment like blood tests like sugar and cholesterol.

No. It was not your fault. It is correct that you suggested for her to be taken to the hospital for professional help. The symptoms you have mentioned is typical for Heart Attack that women suffer. These are different from symptoms men have sometimes. Even if you would have given your father-in-laws BP medication, it would not have been enough to revive your mother-in -law. For your own sake, take your father-in -law to a good doctor and understand how women suffer from heart attacks. Nothing is sudden. Her condition must have been building up for many years together. It will be better as, if another such person suffers symptoms, you and your family will be in a better position to help the patient.

Try the following remedy it will surely help you 2. Turmeric is another spice that can help treat clogged arteries and make your heart healthy and more functional. Curcumin, the main component of turmeric, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that help prevent blood platelets from forming clots. Moreover, turmeric extracts can lower the level of low-density lipoproteins (LDL), or ‘bad’ cholesterol, to reduce buildup in the arteries. It can also relax blood vessels and reduce the risk of a heart attack or stroke. Add 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and a little honey to a glass of warm milk. Drink it 1 or 2 times daily. Take turmeric supplements. The usual recommended dosage is 400 to 600 mg 3 times daily. However, consult a doctor before taking any supplements. Also, include turmeric powder in your cooking. Causes: Low levels of magnesium in the blood (hypomagnesemia) Low levels of potassium in the blood (hypokalaemia) Myocarditis – inflammation of the heart muscle This is very helpful.

Mr. Lybrate-user, blood glucose levels mentioned look well within control. What is the hba1c%? it should be <7. If one maintains these levels then energy level of the patient is usually good. Bp should ideally be 140 / 80. May be needs to improve the treatment. Walking helps better utilisation of blood glucose also makes person feel fresh and energetic. She should walk at least 15 to 20 minutes with in the house premises or around it. Walk 2 to 3 times a day, so that a minimum of 45 minutes of walking is done by the end of the day. If possible she should also learn pranayam and practice it daily. It helps improve energy level and also helps in relaxation. Thanks.

Since how long you are having high b. P. And what is your weight. Weight reduction may decrease you b. P. Medication. Diet, exercise along with herbal preparations will be effective in reducing weight, need to attend the gym if possible, simple morning and evening walk may be effective. Strict observance of diet is important along with your mental determination and attitude.

It could be due to hyper acidity 1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato, cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2.Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat. Limit fluid intake during meal4.Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having,6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily.
