Beautiful Hair - Foods That Are Good For It!

Beautiful Hair - Foods That Are Good For It!

Hair are the most adjustable feature of your face and you can easily transform healthy hair into whatever style you prefer. However, healthy, shiny hair requires nourishment which can easily be achieved by adding foods with necessary nutrients to your diet.

Listed below are a few food items you need to add to your diet for healthy hair:

  1. Fish oilFish oil is present in fatty fishes and is high in omega-3 fats which are important requisites for healthy hair. Almost 3per cent of your hair strand is made up of this oil and it can also be found in the cell membranes of the scalp. Hence, loading up on omega-3 fatty acids is a great way to provide nourishment to your hair shaft and the scalp.
  2. Coconuts: Coconuts are fruits brimming with potassium, which is an essential electrolyte and provides nourishment to the nutrients already present in the cells. Coconuts consist of Vitamins A and K along with essential fats which can be used for cooking instead of vegetable oil because of its high smoke point (the temperature at which cooking oils begin breaking down).
  3. Greek yoghurt: It is packed with protein which is the fundamental unit of a hair strand, this delicious food item is a must-add to your diet. Greek yogurt also contains pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5) which boosts blood flow to your scalp and combats hair thinning and hair fall.
  4. SpinachAdding Popeye’s favourite vegetable to your diet is always a good idea as it is packed with essential nutrients. It is an excellent item to battle brittle hair as it boasts of vitamin A and C, iron, beta carotene and folate (essential nutrients for hair growth). These ingredients together moisturise your hair to keep the strands stronger.
  5. Sweet potatoesWith age and constant exposure to pollution, your locks lose their natural shine. To recover the lost radiance, add sweet potatoes to your meals as they are packed with beta carotene which changes into Vitamin A in your body and revitalises the release of sebum in your scalp. Sebum forestalls your strands from drying out.

How To Manage Infertility With Ayurveda?

Infertility is a medical condition which is characterised by problems in successful conception, even after prolonged and frequent unprotected sex amongst a couple. Infertility may occur due to problems with either the male, the female partner and in many cases both of them. This condition can cause much strife in a relationship not just within the individuals but also be a cause for social embarrassment. The causes of infertility could be-

  1. Testicular injury or deformed testis,

  2. Irregular menstrual periods,

  3. Problems with erections,

  4. Uterus is ill-shaped,

  5. Premature ejaculation,

  6. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome,

  7. Pelvic inflammatory diseases caused by Sexually transmitted infections such as gonorrhea and Chlamydia,

  8. Scanty sperm count,

  9. Thyroid disorders,

  10. Blockage of the fallopian tube.

Other lifestyle related reasons could be excessive alcohol consumption, aging, diabetes, obesity, high pressure and as a side effect of radiation therapy or other medications.

Ayurveda and Infertility-

According to Ayurvedic scriptures, infertility occurs when there is a deficiency of nutrients in the Shukra Dhatu of an individual. This might occur as a result of indigestion and excessive toxic content in the human body. This could be caused due to excessive consumption of spicy foods or if they have chronic stress or anxiety. The Ayurvedic remedies boost the nutrition of the Shukra Dhatu in order to boost fertility. The most potent Ayurvedic herbs which can cure infertility are as follows:

  1. A prescribed consumption of the powder of dried banyan bark along with sugar might help to cure infertility.

  2. The inclusion of cumin and turmeric powder in regulated dosages in your daily food might also help to facilitate fertility.

  3. A consumption of the root of the herb Ashwagandha for 3 times a day has also been shown to be beneficial.

  4. A daily consumption of the powder of Vanari Kalpa in warm milk might help in curing any problems related to the ejaculation of semen.

  5. Consuming a mixture of the powder of Vrushya vati in warm milk, it might help to increase the sperm count.

  6. The consumption of Ayurvedic preparation of phalasarpi (a mixture of the herbs Kustha, manjistha, Triphala, tagara, haldi etc.) might help to deal with the problems of infertility in women.

  7. Yoga also has many effective asanas or poses which help boost both male and female fertility and thus may help in correcting infertility caused due to physical factors such as injuries or deformities.

  8. Changes in lifestyle also have to be brought in such as quitting smoking, reducing alcohol consumption among others.

I am twenty six year boy and my body is very weak when I talk to anyone but there is a strong personality in my mind but when I talk to others I am very bad situation faces my head getting very pain and the legs are vibrating my hands are shivering can you suggest the right reason ?

I am twenty six year boy and my body is very weak when I talk to anyone but there is a strong personality in my mind ...
You are probably making an unfair comparison with other people when you meet them. If you truly have faith in the strength of your personality, why do you abandon it when you meet other people? So there could be low self-esteem, poor self-image, and low self-confidence. May be you have incorporated these from somewhere in your childhood, inadvertently. I suspect this is so because in your true mind you believe otherwise but you can see that what is embedded in your unconscious mind is more powerful and you may have incorporated something contraindicative to your true self. Your reactions are really gross as a result. You could use affirmations quite effectively but I advise you to work with a counselor and identify that input from childhood and sort that out. Your emotions would play a very significant role too and it would help to go through some emotional therapy too. We are what we think we are, and since you have a huge difference when compared to others (mostly in the mind) your whole world changes. True faith in yourself must go deep down and cannot be easily shaken, which I think is lacking. In the bible there is a fabulous and true statement, ?Where there is true love, there is no fear.? And likewise I can confidently say, where there is true and complete faith, there is no fear.? Build your faith in yourself, and nothing can stop you.
