Dear Lybrate user it is Vidagdha ajirna avastha according to Ayurveda science. Take boiled water in normal room temperature which should be reduced upto 1/4th proportion. For one week when will feel hunger take lite food like Boiled Mung, Daal+Rice, Mung Daal khichadi, seasonal vegetables soup etc. Don't take Sprouts, Curd, Junk food, Spicy food. This operation is done when there is csom i. E chronic suppurative otitis media in which there occurs perforation in the ear drum along with that there can be damage to ear ossicles (bone) that usually acts as a sound transmitter. In tympanoplasty reconstruction of ear ossicles or ear drum is done to maintain that sound conduction pathway again.

Hi , your problems are most probably due to over masturbation. While masturbation in itself is not unhealthy, over masturbation does affect the health of an individual. Headaches, poor concentration et al issues are commonly seen in such cases. First and foremost, I would advise you to resist your compulsive urge to masturbate frequently. Streamline your diet/ nutrition with focus on leafy greens and fresh fruits daily. Ensure a proper lifestyle with due room for relaxation and de-stressing. Exercise for at least 30 minutes regularly. Think positive, visualize success and stay focused. Yoga and meditation practice daily shall help develop focus and concentration. Plan your day realistically, and accomplish things accordingly.

I am getting constipated after each 10 days (this is my 4_5 time of constipation life time) and then 10-14-15 days I remain constipated Even more then I get good slowly slowly then I poop very good complete like a normal everyday for 10 days and then I get back constipated, I am just 17 years old boy. Now am constipated have to strain so hard to get some liquid-soft stool out, sometimes Even straining don't work the poop doesn't land in rectum only. Even I tried filling my stomach with air like making my waist broad and diaphragm wide by saying moo, hmmm like words still it do not help as I try it the poop moves inside a lil bit but don't work, I got constipated from yesterday (10th day) yesterday I in morning had to strain and I didn't emptied my bowels I went again to poop in the afternoon still I had to strain but I got some poop out BUT only after straining hard I was getting so gasses and also so many gasses (farts) while urinating also and was getting starts and stops while urinating and discomfort and incomplete and not good urination because of farts that comes while urinating, I also have to strain hard to fart sometimes, so at 5.pm (sayankari) to poop again now I feel poop is there inside not in rectum but inside I think in colon maybe or in rectum (i don't think but it can sorry*) I stained so hard so I could empty so that I will not get gasses anymore then I could urinating good, I strained so hard, I made my stomach filled with air and all diaphragm, Waist wide and push fronts still nothing was just going on urinating in toiler (hole in the ground toilet *squatting one) no even a single bit of poop fall down I then stood up sat for 2_3 min. On chair and went for a walk. Today morning same had an incomplete poop very incomplete even after straining hard then again I went after 1 hour if previous poop as I was feeling pressure then I got some liquid poop out and then I strained no poop then I stained so, but :(so now I was feeling like to go now but my mom say Don't go little will come and you'll strain and water your time (i will be spending 1-1: 30 hours in toilet) so am now asking this? Please help? Am just 17 years old suffering this much also its affecting my studies am in 12 th grade.

There are few very good medicines for constipation. Like alumina, silicea, sulphur, thuja, nux vomica. According to your symptoms I will advise for Alumina 30 tds for 3 days. Then wait and report after 10 days. Hope it helps. Advise is to go for detailed case taking.

Doc. I don't sleep soundly. As my mind always activates in the night and process thoughts randomly. So doctors prescribed me antidepressants I am taking 2.5escitalopram and still I always feel sleepy whole day. My kids never shuts down. Very very frustrated. Please help.

You must be under some stress and that will cause a problem for sleep. The lack of sleep, i.e. Sleep for less than 6 hours per night, is directly linked to about 86 diseases! So let us first focus on that. In your case particularly, do not sleep during the day; don’t even lie down. Go for regular exercise (breathing through your nostrils only) at a fixed time (at about 6 am) every day, whether you sleep or not. You must develop this habit of sleeping by 10 pm latest every night and wake up at a uniform time by 6 am every morning, even if you do not get sleep. If you do not get sleep, just lie down and if you have a bed lamp (or you could get one) lie down and read something light but not exciting. Your eyes will tire and you will fall asleep. If you like you may also put on light and soft music with the sleep function on. Depending on whether you are a visual or auditory person, you may watch TV in a lying down position until you feel sleepy. Have a warm bath before going to bed (for some people a cold bath at night seems to induce sleep! If you are one of them, please do so). Place the head side of your bed in a North-South position. The room must be as dark as possible and there should be no electronic items that give off even a light LED glow. There must be ample ventilation in the room. Avoid strong odors, except lavender, on your body or in the room, or on your sheets and clothes. There should not be any live plants in your bedroom. Sleep with the lightest of clothes or without any clothing. When lying down to sleep, lie down on your left ear as much as possible. Do not sleep directly under an overhead fan. You must eat a good breakfast, a fairly light lunch, and an early dinner, which should be a very light meal. Whatever you eat in the other meals, have only a pure carbohydrate meal at night with any vegetables, and preferably before 8 pm. Do not drink much liquids after or near about dinner time. When lying down to sleep you may use the 4-7-8 breathing pattern of sleep inducement i.e. Breathe in for four counts through your nostril only, hold for 7 counts, and exhale with a whoosh sound, through your mouth only, for 8 counts. Repeat this four times in the morning and just before you sleep at night. If you know Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT , then please practice this too for sleep induction. Self-hypnosis and slow relaxation techniques, at night will be tremendously useful. Acupuncture or acupressure will both be very useful too. Pray last thing at night before you sleep.

1.no alcohol 2. Control body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. Take more water for medicine contact on private chat.
