Hi I am very glad that you asked this question, which many people have in mind.
To explain you this I will give you one example. When we get frequent acidity that is mainly because of our wrong eating habit and sometimes other causes. We advise such patients to be on diet and medicines. Once patient stops medicines but goes back to old wrong eating habits, then the condition worsens and he needs to start on medicines again. So is he addicted to medicines or wrong food habits. He needs to change lifestyle with temporary support of medicines.
Same way as our thinking is so our actions are and so the brain neurotransmitters released. Constant habit of negative thinking leads to same release of neurotransmitters and person needs to take medicine to correct depression to get these neurotransmitters in balance. He feels better, stops medicines and if he again falls back to same old negative thoughts he will suffer again. But during medications if he takes some thought changing therapies (includes gaining insight in thinking patterns), meditation, to improve his thinking to make himself strong to face adversities of life. He doesn't fall back to same problem whether it's depression or anxiety. Remember thoughts are our mental diet. If we are careful of our diet about calories even in biscuits now, then why can't we take some preventive measures of learning some self improvement techniques and mediation. For this reason we suggest our client to take therapy sessions along with medicines. Thank you.
ARMS is retinal pathology so vision affected due to it cannot be restored but that due to cataract can be restored. Anyways you have to undergo cataract surgery even if it doesn't improve your vision because if it is untreated it can lead to complications like glaucoma, etc
The term red eye, medically referring to subconjunctival hemorrhage, means different things to different people. For people who travel a lot, it is likely to mean a flight on which sleep is impossible and thus, resulting in them having red eyes. But what can the other causes of red eyes be?
Believe it or not, there can be up to 35 possible reasons for it! Also, it is not really true that all these reasons are related to each other. The causes may range from allergies to cluster headaches to an eyelid which has turned inward or even glaucoma, which has led to a poor flow of blood to the eyes.
Common causes of a red eye
The conditions which lead to red eyes can affect a person at various stages of life. So, this provides everyone with a need to know and be aware of what can cause trouble when it comes to one’s eyes. The severity of the causes can vary quite widely. For instance, a minor worry such as a dry eye syndrome (which does not cause a permanent loss of vision in almost all cases) or common eye infections such as conjunctivitis have also immense potential to result in red eyes. In fact, this is known to be a medical emergency and a patient should be rushed to a doctor!
- Sometimes a regular cold and flu leads to sinus infection, which eventually causes red eyes.
- When it comes to the allergic causes of red eyes, some people do react negatively to certain drugs such as penicillin and codeine, which in turn might result in red eyes. In a case like this, it is important to call the doctor and ask not only what is to be done, but also what alternatives to be used.
- We would not be able to see if it were not for the cornea, which allows light to enter our eyes. Sometimes, there are ulcers which form on it. This mostly happens due to an infection, possibly as a result of wearing one’s contact lenses for too long at a stretch or due to an injury.
- Viral infections are also a possibility. Treatment requires the timely use of eye drops and some medicines. One of the more common causes today is often referred to as the computer vision syndrome, where a person stares at a computer screen for long and uninterrupted hours.
- Something which has gained notoriety recently is Ebola, which is another cause. While it is rare, it is fatal, in most cases. So, quite expectedly, it is an emergency and red eyes are a symptom, which should help early detection.
In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!
Eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye (sclera) become swollen. Vessels may swell due to:
• Eye dryness
• Too much sun exposure
• Dust or other particles in the eye
• Allergies
• Infection
• Injury
Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. These may be due to:
• Blepharitis: Swelling along the edge of the eyelid.
• Conjunctivitis: Swelling or infection of the clear tissue that lines the eyelids and covers the surface of the eye (the conjunctiva). This is often referred to as "pink eye."
• Corneal ulcers: Sores on the cornea most often caused by a serious bacterial or viral infection.
• Uveitis: Inflammation of the uvea, which includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. The cause is most often not known. It may be related to an autoimmune disorder, infection, or exposure to toxins. The type of uveitis that causes the worst red eye is called iritis, in which only the iris is inflamed.
Other potential causes of eye redness include:
• Colds or allergies .
• Acute glaucoma: A sudden increase in eye pressure that is extremely painful and causes serious visual problems. This is a medical emergency. The more common form of glaucoma is chronic and gradual.
• Corneal scratches: Injuries caused by sand, dust, or overuse of contact lenses.
Sometimes, a bright red spot, called a subconjunctival hemorrhage, will appear on the white of the eye. This often happens after straining or coughing, which causes a broken blood vessel on the surface of the eye. Most often, there is no pain and your vision is normal. It is almost never a serious problem. Because the blood leaks into the conjunctiva, which is clear, you cannot wipe or rinse the blood away. Like a bruise, the red spot will go away within a week or two.
So,visit a local eyespecialist. The diagnosis of your problem in eyes can only be made by local examination of eyes
Hello. There is no medication or food for improving eye sight or to get rid of glasses.
Get your vision tested and wear glasses.
If not interested in glasses then you can try
a. Contact lens
b. Lasik laser
as your age is now 17 years so your number might increase a little now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs.
Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy.
Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik after age of 18 yrs.

Hi Shubham.. this kind of differences are common.. and with simple yoga and pranayama you may get some help..
But I don't think that there are any specific treatment for that...
Hi sir, don't neglect the eyes even so you are busy as dry eyes lead to corneal problems and further progression lead to blindness. Use methy cellulose eye drops, when you are in driving wear spectacles and check vision once.
