Brown vaginal discharge is perfectly alright and only indicates that your body is returning back to normalcy. However, if this discharge is accompanied by either of the following, inform your doctor immediately Foul-smelling discharge Temperature of 100.4 or greater Chills or dizziness

Agar period har dafe ke jaise hi normal hai to pregnancy ka khatra nahi hai. Harek ladki aur stree ko iron vali chije jyada khana chahiye- hari sabjiya, gud vagare. Jarur pade to iron ki goli. Period ki vahase nahi magar aise hi achhi tabiyat ke liye protein, calcium or multivitamin bhi lena chahiye,

What is the reason behind the reduce of bleeding days during period? is there any problem in future? What are the measures need to be taken?

Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, Oligomenorrhoea or getting infrequent/ decreased flow during the menses is due to any underlying nutritional deficiency/ ies, stress, if it's attended with irregular menses - may be because of PCOS or some other problem. The degree of menstrual abnormality is also directly proportional to the intensity of the exercise. So, we need to rule out the causative factor! First take the below homoeopathic medicines which is general tonic, if even after taking them the flow is not normal, then will have probe further by getting ultrasound (pelvis) done. Medication: Schwabe's Five Phos. And Alfaalfa Tonic – both thrice daily for 1 month. There after revert me back..take care.

Night Urination 3 X 1/2 Minute Necessary.

MD - Homeopathy, Masters Degree of Homoeopathy
Homeopath, Mumbai
Night Urination 3 X 1/2 Minute Necessary.

For those who get up at night from sleep to urinate or early morning: each individual must take note of the 3 x 1/2 minutes. Why is it important? 3 x 1/2 minutes will greatly reduce the number of sudden deaths. Often this occurs, a person who still look healthy, has died in the night. Often we hear stories of people, yesterday I was chatting with him, why did he suddenly die? the reason is that when you wake up at night to go to the bathroom is often done in a rush. Immediately we stand, the brain lacks blood flow. Why '3 x 1/2 minute' very important? in the middle of the night when you are awakened by the urge to urinate, for example, an ecg pattern can change. Because getting up suddenly, the brain will be anaemic and causes heart failure due to lack of blood. Advised to practice '3 1/2 minutes' which are:
1. When waking from sleep, lie in bed for the 1st 1/2 minute;
 2. Sit in bed for the next 1/2 minute;
3. Lower your legs, sitting on the edge of the bed for the last half-minute. After 3 x 1/2 minutes, you will not have anaemic brain and heart will not fail, reducing the possibility of a fall and sudden death.
 Share with family, friends and loved ones. It can occur regardless of age; young or old.
 Sharing is caring. If you already know, regard this as refresher.

I got my periods 4 days late. Nd the flow is not normal. Also the color of my blood is dark. Is everything is fine or not. Also I took unwanted 72 pill 10 days prior. Is everything is normal or this is not period. Something else.

Ayurveda, Bangalore
HI, If you have normal flow for 4-5 days, then nothing is wrong. But if the flow is very less, then get an U/S scan of the pelvis done to rule out gestation.

Hi lybrate-user. PCOS is a very common hormonal problem. Lot of women with PCOS can easily get pregnant with some assistance. The main problem with PCOS is that you don't ovulate every month. So taking medicines for egg development at the beginning of each cycle will help you get pregnant. Consult your Gynec regarding what medications will suit you best.

MBBS, MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, FMAS, DMAS

Hello, there is no reason that because of age and early puberty, you should face any problems after marriage. Just that you should avoid crossing 30, and try to conceive before that as chances of aneuploidies increase after 30.

Hi lybrate user, your time of intercourse was not a safe period so there is chance of pregnancy, if you want to confirm wait for 4-5 days n get a blood test called beta hcg or you can wait till your periods n if you miss your periods then do a urine pregnency test n confirm.

What Is Causing Blood in Your Urine?

MCH-Urology, M.S. (General Surgery) , MBBS
Urologist, Gurgaon
What Is Causing Blood in Your Urine?

If there is blood in your urine, it is a sign of renal illness. While this could be happening because of various reasons, it is advisable to see your doctor soon.

Following are the causes of blood in your urine:

  1. An enlarged prostate - An enlarged prostate is a common cause of the appearance of blood in the urine in men who are in their middle ages or older. Enlargement of the prostate gland causes the urethra to be compressed. This prevents the urethra from getting fully emptied while urination.
  2. Cancer - A cancerous kidney, bladder or prostate gland can also cause blood to appear in the urine. It is another major cause of hematuria but usually occurs in older patients.
  3. Infection - Infections like urethritis, pyelonephritis, cystitis or infection in any other body organ along the urinary tract is one of the most common causes of hematuria. Such bacterial infection in the urethra can also infect the kidneys and the urinary bladder. It results in the urge to urinate frequently and also causes blood to appear in the urine.
  4. Kidney stones and bladder stones - Another reason that can cause blood to appear in the urine is the presence of stones in the kidney or bladder. These stones are crystallized minerals that are formed in the kidney or the bladder but fail to pass through the urinary tract. They cause blockage and pain and result in hematuria.
  5. Polycystic kidney disease - PKD is a kidney disorder in which cysts filled with fluid form in the kidneys and impair the kidneys, causing them to fail entirely at times. It is an inherited disease and causes blood to appear in the urine. In children who are between 6-10 years of age, kidney disorder after streptococcal glomerulonephritis can be a possible cause of hematuria.

I wanna know whether I m pregnant or not.I had intercourse last week , and my periods date was 2nd March was missed that, at that time , after intercourse I had no periods afters 2 days.I usually had periods long for 7,8 days but this time it last for 3 days only.

MBBS, DNB (Obstetrics and Gynecology)

When was period ? If your last intercourse was not within Day 10 and day 18 of your cycles, mostly you are not going to become pregnant & again if your previous cycles are regular .Or else,if your next cycle delays by 1week, go for a urine pregnancy test .Keep your fingers crossed n gud luck.

After sexual intercourse it is bad to give a girl anti pregnant tablets after every intercourse.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology
Gynaecologist, Mumbai
I-pill or anti pregnant tablets are to be taken in emergency situations like condom failure and sex once in a while. To have full protection oc pills like novelon is to be taken. If she already had pills many times, it acts only for a month or so and does not have any impact on the future.
