Your BMI is 20.43 which falls in the lower half of the Normal weight range. Therefore it is surprising how your Body Fat percentage can be 42.6%? As per me -even if you are not very fit, your Body Fat may be around 25%. You can do a pinch test at your waist to check how much fat you have. The methods for this can be found on the internet. If you are fit and healthy, then you don't have to bother about this figure of Fat %.

Causes, Symptoms and Prevention of Lice

A head louse is an insect that lives on the human scalp and feeds on human blood. The female louse lays eggs in the head and makes sure the eggs are attached to the hair shaft. It takes around eight days for the egg to hatch. The louse takes another 11 days to mature into an adult louse.

Causes:
The primary cause of head louse is poor personal hygiene. Other causes due to which a person can be infected by lice are:

  1. Using combs and towels that are infested.
  2. Coming in contact with another person who has this condition.
  3. Sharing the bed with a person who is affected by lice.

Symptoms:

When a person is affected by this condition then the following symptoms are observed:

  1. The saliva of the lice causes an allergic reaction in the scalp which leads to constant itching. It can occur in various places such as ears, scalp and the neck. It may not occur initially, but it tends to occur after a few weeks.
  2. Constant scratching can lead to formation of small red bumps on the skin. A bacterial infection usually occurs from constant itching.
  3. It may lead to symptoms of dandruff in the scalp.
  4. Presence of various insects in the scalp.

Prevention of Lice:

Lice can be prevented by using medicated shampoos and conditioners to wash the hair. The shampoos are usually based on a chemical called pyrethrin. This compound is toxic for lice and helps in getting rid of it.

You can also opt for the following lifestyle changes to prevent lice:

  1. You should avoid sharing your hairbrush with others.
  2. In case you have long hair, tie it in buns or ponytails.
  3. Add tea tree oil to your shampoo before using it.
  4. Keep the scalp clean to prevent infestations.
  5. Avoid sharing pillows and clothes.

She doesn't feel like eating anything .Severe acidity problem. Sometimes even gets upset with the smell of food but sometimes she eats well as per her choice of food. Very thin. Feels weakness. Otherwise active. The problem of acidity is old but now after having diahoria she is facing more trouble of lack of hunger.

Dear lybrate user, you need to take homoeopathic carbo veg 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach. You can also try homoeopathic liver tonic liv-t (sbl company). Take 20 ml of the aforesaid liver tonic, thrice daily, after meals. Try to drink as much water as you can drink daily. Try to get an uninterrupted sleep of minimum 8 hours.

Is it normal to have one nipple darker than the other for a non lactating woman? The breast with the lighter nipple is slightly bigger than the one with the darker nipple. Start consuming cow ghee with your meals, make sure your brreakfast is heavy, it is believed people who have less weight shud start doing surya namaskar every morning. Also start doing prithvi mudra everyday for 20 minutes. Consume milk, paneer, cow ghee, banana, curd and almonds more in your diet.

Dear lybrateuser, -Because of nerve damage, people with diabetes may not have typical chest pain during a heart attack, instead they may experience milder chest pressure or sudden shortness of breath or sweating, or even an unexplainable change in blood glucose levels -on investigation ecg may show changes.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Take frequent sips of water through out the day. Take atleast 3.5 litre in a whole day .Take more water before evening. You can take water after 1/2 of taking meals.

Eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. There is no short cut. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips. You can't target a single body part. You need to work on overall fat loss and toning. Hopefully your body has not shut down the metabolism or plateaued which is common when you try to crash your diet. I am sure this suggestion will at least help you with initial fat loss. If you cant break the plateau you might need professional intervention.

Nothing will be affected as long as you do not get addicted. Masturbation is not really bad; it is the addiction to it that is bad. Not even the number of years is a problem but the frequency and compulsiveness to do it is to be considered for its ill-effects. At your age you may feel it difficult and it can become addictive if you have alone time, if you obsess about it, and if you are not into relationships. The problem with addiction to this is that you may go on to prefer masturbation to heterosexual contact, even when you are married. That obviously would be an insult to your wife and will lead to a lot of conflict. Heterosexual contact is very wholesome and the physiology is made exactly for penile and vaginal contact. You will instead enjoy a poor replica of this and not know or care for the difference. The second thing that can happen with addiction is that it will become compulsive and will have no boundaries or limits, since it can be done all by yourself, whenever, wherever, and however too. The big problem a lot of children get into is the guilt around this. A useful way to discharge the energy is to get into contact games, or exercises, or even hobbies to channelize it. Also you should not spend too much time alone, and you need to keep your mind occupied with other interesting things and a lot of socializing. Even if you are not interested in marriage, for whatever reasons, it will help you to get into a friendship with a girl and enjoy the relationship where there will be a lot of excitement when you fall in love. Right now your hormones may be very active and your physiological apparatus is primed and ready for sexual stimulation. But because of your age and even otherwise it is important to develop good control and not feed into your impulses. Keeping yourself occupied and living a healthy social life are the keys to manage your sexual drives.

Hi I am 34 weeks pregnant and yesterday noticed that there is cavity in my teeth and deep inside. Had been to dentist and doctor took X-ray and advice me for root canal. Since there is no pain and upon extra care can I postpone it till my delivery or is it better to get it done? As am worried about the safety of anesthesia and antibiotics and also just one month to go for delivery.

First of all there's no need to take medicines after root canal. Mild discomfort will be there but you can bare that as you don't want to take medicines.. We can't say exactly when it will start paining but ya if you'll keep that cavities free of food after meal and gargles property after every meal and brush twice a day specially just before sleep at night then surely you can slow down the progression of cavity. Adequate rest and have 7-8 hours of sound sleep in the night 10. Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 11.
