Hi lybrate-user you do not need to worry right away White patches are little away from normal conditions but they are mostly not dangerous In very few case if you experience sign like burning sensation or inability to open you mouth due to fibrous tissue formation in them then a further involvement is required However in these situations also these patches becoming cancer is not always certain.

Bad breathe may be a result of many other causes than gum problems or smoking or drinking habits. It may be due to gastric problems. Or due to sialoliths or salivary gland disease or conditions. Better to consult a dentist and get the tests or diagnostic evaluations. Saliva tests may be fruitful.

We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning, root canal treatment & capping. Until then apply clove oil on the decayed tooth. Rinse frequently with mouth wash.

A bridge is a much better option if the teeth adjacent to the missing teeth are strong enough to support the bridge. Not all teeth supporting a bridge need to go for a root canal treatment.

I was feeling dryness in mouth and throat thrice aur four times a day. It would be upto 1 hr thn it becomes normal. I opened my mouth to check what tha problem was so I found that my uvula is deviated towards one side. What to do. And what is the cause for it?

Nothing to be done to your uvula and your symptoms are not because of uvula deviation and Get your blood checked for CBC Tsh and follow up with reports and injection vitcofol will be helpful but to be given after clinical examination.

We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks.

I have a pain in my teeth & sometimes blood is present in the peak. What should I do?
You have pain may be due to gum disease known as gingivitis and plaque deposition. Go to a dental clinic for scaling. This will help you. Rinse your mouth with chlorhexidine mouthwash three times a day after each meal. Use crest toothpaste. Keep your mouth clean. Brush properly. You can consult me also for further advice.

Good evening! Brush your teeth with Oral-B UltraSoft Tooth Brush in circular motion without applying much pressure. Use Cleanodent mouth wash and brush twice a day. If still not clean it can Be Cured By Bleaching or scaling done bye dentist. Go For That.

My baby which is about a month old, very often stretch it's body, and especially while stretching it makes some sort of noise from it's mouth. Unsure if this is normal to all babies or something I need to worry. Would appreciate the opinions and advices in anticipation.

Dear Lybrate user, Please Relax! It is absolutely normal. Babies at such an early stage discover their ability to vocalize as they see you communicating with them (through eyes and encouraging words). Some babies begin to make some vowel sounds (like "ah-ah" or "ooh-ooh") at about 2 months. Your baby will "talk" to you with a variety of sound this is as normal as responding to your smiles with his or her own. :) This is simply a way to gain the caregiver's attention.
