My teeth are paining from many days. There are some kind of hole in the teeth with black surrounded.
This is cavity problem. When the cavity reaches deep into the nerves then the feeling of pain is experienced. For temporary relief you can take painkillers but permanent solution is getting them filled. If the cavities r deep then rct is required.

May be there chances of calculous deposition at the cervical area of teeth. Go to your dentist. If needed get cleaned your teeth (i.e. Scaling and polishing) follow proper brushing technique (watch utube videos for brushing technique) and understand from your dentist. Most common causes of bad breath is poor oral hygiene which leads to gum disease and tooth decay. If tooth decay present. Get filled. If decay is deep than root canal treatment is the option other causes of bad breath smoking, alcohol habit eating food like garlic onion and spices regularly some medical conditions dry mouth (xerostomia) (GORD) means gastro-oesophageal reflux disease diabetes bronchitis tonsillitis sinusitis. Etc some medicines can also cause bad breath 1st consult your dentist. If needed consult your general practitioner.

I am 55yrs old man. I am having a tumor in side of my tounge. As I am an sugar patient. I have consult an e. N. T he referd an opration and at the sane time another doctor advised me to continue the madicin. Please suggest me what is better and usefull for me.

MDS
Dentist, Kota
Whether to go for surgery of any tumor or not it depends upon many factors. - Patient physical status - in your case you are diabetic. If your sugar level is very high, then any surgical procedure is contraindicated, First your sugar level should control by medications then you can go ahead for surgery (Medical supervision is must) - Tumor Stage - early stages have good outcome. - Tumor location - Extending into deeper structure has more prone to recur even after surgery. - Tumor size - if it is small then a simple small surgery can make you healthy. So without knowing the details its very difficult to suggest accurately.

Salahuddin having pyorrhea means deposits , bad breath from mouth . . The best way to get rid of bad breath & improve oral health is to maintain good oral hygiene, like brushing your teeth twice a day with colgate fresh mint tooth paste ,regular rinse with Mouthwashes (listerine )after meals . this will help to avoid the bacteria in plaque, that accumulates in the mouth, you have to visit dental surgeon for scaling and polishing ,and maintain oral cleanliness to make sure your teeth stay healthy.

Family Dentist Discusses Foods That Promote Good Oral Health

BDS, Diploma in Hospital Administration, Diploma in Pharmacy
Dentist, Delhi
According to dental professionals, the more sugary, starchy foods we consume, the more they feed the plaque-causing bacteria that are present in all of our mouths. This plaque can then harden into tartar, which is the leading cause of tooth decay and gum disease. To prevent plaque and tartar buildup, regular brushing, flossing, and gargling (mouthwash) is imperative. Certain foods can also help improve oral health. Here are a few favorites from your family dentist.

Cheese

Naturally low in sugar and high in calcium, cheese helps strengthen our teeth. It also contains a protein called casein, which may help lower the risk of cavities. More than that, there is compelling evidence that cheese preserves the whiteness of teeth by fortifying the enamel that protects the pearly-white dentin behind it.

Sugar-free gum

When we are not brushing, flossing, or gargling, saliva helps keep our mouths clean. It removes food particles, plaque, and other debris. Chewing gum, as long as it doesn't have sugar in it, stimulates saliva production and helps remove potentially harmful deposits. It is no wonder that the average family dentist recommends chewing sugar-free gum in between meals.

Celery

Once again, chewing anything helps increase the saliva in our mouths, but the foods we choose to chew should not contain sugar, and they should take a long time to chew. Celery meets these requirements. It is also quite fibrous, which means it breaks down into strands that naturally clean our teeth as we chew. We should also mention that celery is one of the few foods that has a negative-calorie effect. In other words, you burn more calories chewing and swallowing it than it contains.

Raw onion

Even if you have a clean mouth, it likely contains hundreds of millions of bacteria at any given time. While not all of them are bad, some attack tooth enamel and cause serious oral issues. Numerous studies have confirmed that raw onions have powerful antibacterial properties. Sure, they may give you bad breath. But a few raw onions on a sandwich or in a salad will also help you control marauding oral bacteria, which may mean fewer trips to your family dentist.

Steak

We're sorry vegetarians, but eating meat does have its benefits. As we mentioned, longer chewing times promote salivation that helps clean our teeth. And few things require more mastication than a big, juicy steak. In fact, chewing steak requires so much effort that it can actually strengthen our jaw muscles and our pearly whites. We should also mention that red meat contains phosphorous, which helps protect tooth enamel and bone.

Cashews

Just like raw onions, cashews contain antimicrobial oils that have been shown to reduce the bad bacteria that leads to tooth decay. Testing has also revealed that the same nut oils may fight the bacteria that causes acne breakouts, making them one of the few family dentist and dermatologist-approved foods.

I am 45 years old female. I have pain on right side of my chin continuously. I have pain in my wish tooth also but no problem in eating and pain in that side tonsil also. I have sugar in range 140-180. Pl guide.

MDS, BDS
Dentist, Delhi
The problem may not be related to your sugar levels. Sometimes, wisdom teeth (either upper or lower) can cause radiating pain and in such cases the pain can be felt all along the jaw line on that side right up to the chin. If the problem is severe, we might have to consider removing the wisdom tooth/ teeth.

Still water and milk are good choices. It is better for your teeth if you drink fruit juices just at meal times. If you are drinking them between meals, try diluting them with water and rinsing your mouth with water after drinking. Drinking through a straw can help the drink go to the back of your mouth without touching your teeth.

Oral thrush is a fungal infection which occurs due to dry mouth, uncontrolled diabetes and weak immune system with debilitating disease or patient on corticosteroids. You may need fluconazole & renal safety dosage of amphotericin B (IV drugs to be used only with the advice of oral & maxillofacial surgeons). Kindly consult an oral & maxillofacial surgeon in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need Candid ointment until then. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash.

The only good solution to such a problem is to get a scaling and polishing done by a dentist without waiting for the things to auto correct. Scaling is a mandatory thing which one should get done once in 4 to 6 months. It implies to me as well

Hello, yellow teeth could be because of deposits in between your teeth. Visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done. As a home remedy, you can apply baking soda or strawberry crush on teeth for sometime. This will help to whiten your teeth by a few shades. You can also visit a dentist and get it checked. You can ask for bleaching or whitening procedures.
