Cavity in tooth. And sometimes it pain very badly. What should I go for rct? or tooth extraction? please suggest.
Only after clinical examination and possibly xray can one decide whether a cavity can be restored with a simple filling or requires a root canal. Tooth extraction is the last option only if no other measures are possible.

Hello Lybrate user, PIMPLE U SAID IS ULCERS ,ulcers in mouth have become a very common problem nowadays. There are many factors which cause ulcers which includes 1.stress.mostly ulcers occurs in students who have stress because of there academics .or in people who have irregular office timings or people who have night shifts. 2.acidity 3. Spicy foods 4.vitamin B12 deficiency I would advise you to make a small change in your lifestyle. Drink enough water keep your body hydrated .avoid spick food for a week. Take vitamin bcomplex supplement once a day for 5 days. Eat fresh fruits. And friit juices. Apply honey over your ulcers. You may also get hexigel ointment and apply in the affected area. And try to stay stress free. Use amlexanox gel apply 2-3 times a day till ulcers disappear. If not getting any improvement use doxycycline capsules, open it and get the powder out, make a paste with one or 2 drops of water, apply over ulcers 2 - 3 times. You can use both amlexanox and paste simultaneously. Even if its not working, last resort is to get it treated with lasers. There are few dentists in country use lasers to cure these ulcers permanently. So you have to find out who all can do it. THANK YOU.

There are several causes of tooth discoloration, including: Foods/drinks. Coffee, tea, colas, wines, and certain fruits and vegetables (for example, apples and potatoes) can stain your teeth. Poor dental hygiene. Inadequate brushing and flossing.... Here is home remedy for brighter teeth--- Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes. for faster result you can go for TEETH BLEACHING from dentist...

Hello. Tooth sensitivity — also known as dentin hypersensitivity — affects the tooth or exposed root surfaces. This occurs when the enamel that protects our teeth gets thinner, or when gum recession occurs, exposing the underlying surface, the dentin, thus, reducing the protection the enamel and gums provide to the tooth and root. If hot, cold, sweet or very acidic foods and drinks, or breathing in cold air, makes your teeth or a tooth sensitive or painful then you may have sensitive teeth. Tooth sensitivity can come and go over time. Causes: There are many causes of tooth sensitivity, including: Worn tooth enamel from using a hard toothbrush or brushing too aggressively Tooth erosion due to highly acidic foods and beverages Tooth erosion due to bulimia or gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) Gum recession that leaves your root surface exposed There are several conditions which can cause pain, but which are not tooth sensitivity: Dental caries A cracked or chipped tooth Grinding or clenching the teeth Leakage around restorations External tooth bleaching Management: Proper oral hygiene is the key to preventing gums from receding and causing sensitive-tooth pain. If you brush your teeth incorrectly, or over-brush, your gums may become sensitive. Brushing properly twice daily for 2 minutes with toothpaste that does not have high levels of abrasives, and flossing once a day, can help reduce the chance of tooth sensitivity. A diet low in acidic foods (tomatoes, pickles, tea, citrus fruits) and drinks also helps prevent tooth sensitivity. Treatment: Apply Plantago Q/ few drops on cotton swab, place it on the affected teeth and press it tightly, do it thrice a day. Orally, take Mag. Phos. 6x/ after every 2 hours. Do visit a dentist for proper diagnosis, share the reports with me. In case possible, will help you in treating your problem.
