I met with an accident recently. I thought that my leg is fractured. I consulted my doctor and did my xray. It was normal. Till now pain remains as it is. I can not even sit properly. Can you suggest me actually what hap to my leg?

Fellowship in Joint Replacement, Fellowship in Hand Surgery, MS - Orthopaedics, MBBS
Orthopedist, Bangalore
Hi, as you have met with an accident there was injury to your leg, luckily you don't have a fracture but there will be blunt injury to your bone and muscles. It takes time for your injury to heal. You may be having swelling. Basically you require rest and medications. Rest is the main treatment. Crepe bandage and foot end elevation will help for swelling.

Hi. These pains can easily be taken care of by micro correctional exercises. There are many factors which can cause the pains. Firstly according to the information provided by you about your height & weight, you are little overweight for your height. This is the most important cause for pains in heels. Secondly the postures we follow, go wrong for many years. That causes strain on the arch of the foot causing pain. After doing exercises properly, you will be pain-free in a week but after that you should pay attention to weight reduction. Have a happy healing. :)

I am 18 year old male and my problem is leg pain for 3 months so what should I do?
Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, pain in leg could be due to a problem in the leg itself or radiating from the spine. This needs to be evaluated clinically. So you must consult an orthopaedic surgeon in your vicinity. Take care.

I am a 23 year old guy. I have been experiencing backache from past few days. It starts when I wake up in the morning and stays throughout the day varying in magnitude. The center of the pain is on the back near shoulder, which affects my left hand. It pains dearly. I took some pain killers too. It tends to reduce but returns back after a few hours. I don't know if its a muscle pain or if I am having any problems with the bone there, as when I move my left arm ,i can hear the slight unusual sound of bones, you know when they rub against each other. What should I do?

If it's temporary pain due to strain to the muscles (bad posture can be one of the common reasons) then you should do well with rest and a little bit of warm-up and stretching exercises. You can also apply hot /cold application for pain management. Please do take care of your life style now. Prevention is better than cure. Learn more about healthy lifestyle from the Internet and follow the rules. If it pains without any relief from these tips then it needs a thorough checkup and further investigations. You can also take Homeopathy for your pain if it is persistent.

suffering with Ankylosing spondylitis, get rid completely with Nucleus Homeopathy

Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine (H.M.D.)
Homeopath, Belgaum
suffering with Ankylosing spondylitis, get rid completely with Nucleus Homeopathy
Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is one of the many types of arthritis. "Ankylosing" means joining together or stiffening; "spondylitis" means inflammation of the vertebral bones of the spine. Inflammation of the bones in AS can lead to degeneration, pain, and loss of joint motion. AS typically affects the spine but can been seen in other areas, especially the hips. Ankylosing spondylitis can range from a mild to more severe disease in patients. Ankylosing spondylitis is approximately three times more common in males than females. It is usually diagnosed in young adults, with a peak onset between 20 and 30 years of age. Children may also be affected by a form of AS termed “juvenile ankylosing spondylitis”, seen in children younger than 16 years of age. There is evidence suggesting a strong genetic component in the development of the disease.
AS is a type of arthritis of the spine. It causes swelling between vertebrae, which are the disks that make up your spine, and in the joints between spine and pelvis. Ankylosing spondylitis is an autoimmune disease. This means immune system, which normally protects body from infection, attacks body's own tissues. The disease is more common and more severe in men. It often runs in families.

Early symptoms include back pain and stiffness. These problems often start in late adolescence or early adulthood. Over time, ankylosing spondylitis can fuse vertebrae together, limiting movement.

Homeopathic Remedies for Ankylosing Spondylitis
Homeopathy treats the person as a whole. It means that homeopathic treatment focuses on the patient as a person, as well as his pathological condition. The homeopathic medicines are selected after a full individualizing examination and case-analysis, which includes the medical history of the patient, physical and mental constitution etc. A miasmatic tendency (predisposition/susceptibility) is also often taken into account for the treatment of chronic conditions. The medicines given below indicate the therapeutic affinity but this is not a complete and definite guide to the treatment of this condition. The symptoms listed against each medicine may not be directly related to this disease because in homeopathy general symptoms and constitutional indications are also taken into account for selecting a remedy. None of these medicines should be taken without professional advice.
