Dear , cardinal principle of treatment before or after surgery is avoid constipation at all costs. Yes you can take enema and also take sitz bath: sit in a tubful of warm water for 15 minutes may be twice a day.

Have light food ( simple and easy to digest cooked food ) and avoid outside food and cold drinks and other beverages. Drink warm in the morning and before every meal. Walk for some time after a meal ( 30 mins after the meal ). I feel you have any other health problems then please mention. You can try Homeopathy if there is any recurrent problem. Overall , maintain a healthy lifestyle and be consistent with the routine discipline.
