your Problems Is Tinea Cruris it is kind of dermatophytosis DERMATOPHYTOSIS/DADRU. DADRU – ringworm, dermatophytosis or tinea infection is a burst out condition of the skin. Due to bursting of exterior through the skin leads to circular or different shaped skin patches with itching. It is also commonly explained as fungal skin infection. CLASSIFICATION Depending upon the site of affliction the lesions are named as below- Scalp -Tinea capitis – also known as scalp ringworm Body -Tinea corporis Whole body surface -Tinea universalis Neck -Tinea versicolor Face -Tinea faciei Beard -Tinea barbae Groin and buttock -Tinea cruris – also known as jock itch Hand -Tinea manuum Feet-Tinea pedis – athlete’s toes, athlete’s feet Nails-Tinea unguium WHY THIS HAPPENED? Poor nutrition – leading to less immunity, more proneness to infection Excessive sweating Hot and humid climate – excessive sweating, leading to moist skin Debilitating/ chronic diseases – compromised immunity Poor hygiene, poor living conditions, Diabetes – diabetic patients are usually more prone to skin diseases Administration of cortico- steroids and immune suppressing agents, leading to compromised immunity. More chance for the fungus to invade. Infection: Fungal parasitic infection sweat infection TO DO Warm water Astringent-bitter and light food Regular washing and bathing Proper exercise – to improve body strength and immunity Buttermilk Light and easily digestible food Turmeric, curry leaves, cinnamon, cardamom NOT TO DO. Oily food, junk foods, sodas – upsets stomach and intestines, worsens immunity strength Cold water Dust and contaminants Heavy and excessive food Slimy and spicy food Night awakening Improper bowel habit etc PREVENTIVE TIPS AND HOME REMEDIES For any type of skin disorders due to infection – mix 10 grams of turmeric powder in 100 ml of neem oil. Apply it over the skin lesions, 30 minutes before bath, everyday. Believe it or not, a perianal abscess was cured with this simple remedy. (You can see a testimonial about it here) For all skin disorders, mix a tablespoon of Khadira (Acacia catechu powder) in a tub of hot water and use it for bathing. Read more about this home remedy In case of Jock itch (affecting groins), wear loose-fitting under garments. Apply cosmetic powder to keep the skin dry. To prevent scalp fungal infection, do not use very old and infested combs, brushes and such other hair care products. If you have groin fungal infection (Jock itch) and athlete’s foot together, then treating groin infection alone will not be sufficient. The foot infection can spread to groin and jock itch may recur. Do not share cloth, sports instruments, towels with others Wash thoroughly after suspected skin contact Avoid tight-fitting cloths. Change your socks and underwear repeatedly, if needed. After bath, make sure to dry the skin completely. If you have athlete’s foot, put your socks on before your underwear so that the infection does not spread. Avoid using oily skin products. Reduce your exposure to the afternoon sun. Increased sweating causes worsening of infection. Wear cotton cloth, which absorbs the sweat and moisture completely. AYURVEDIC TREATMENT 1.Dadrughni Vati 2.Panchanimbadi vati. 3.Guggulu tiktak mahakashaya 4.Rasottamadi lep 5.Vidangarista 6.Khadirarista. Apart form this appropritae antifungal medications and tropical oint necessary to eradicate it from the root and for non recurrence. NOTE ALL MEASURES DONE TOGHTER WITH PROPER DIAGNOSIS AND PROPER MANAGEMEMT THEN IT WILL GET ERADICATED PERMANANTLY. I NEED your DETAILED HISTORYINVESTIGATIONS AND PREVIOUS MEDICATIONS DETAILS OF IT PROBLES. I HAVE VERY GOOD AYURVEDIC TREATMENT FOR THIS PROBLEMS SAFE. EFFECTIVE NO SIDE EFFECTS. YOU CAN CONSULT ME FOR THIS PROBLEMS. I WISH U HAPPY HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS LIFE AHEAD GOD BLESS YOU.

Vitiligo - Signs You Need To Be Aware Of!

Vitiligo is a skin disorder which results in the loss of skin pigments in different parts of the body due to the destruction of the colour producing cells called the melanocytes. Vitiligo can affect any part of the skin present in different parts of the body. Vitiligo is a disorder in which the immune system of the body gets overactive and destroys these colour producing cells on it's own, therefore resulting in white patches which are generally much fairer than the original skin colour of the human skin. In this article we are going to talk about some more facts and details about Vitiligo.

Facts about Vitiligo

Here are some important facts about vitiligo which should be kept in mind:

  • Vitiligo can affect an individual of any skin colour, gender, age and ethnicity. There is no particular set of people, only who gets affected by it.
  • Vitiligo cannot be cured completely even though a few treatments are there. Usually it is a lifelong disorder and once affected stays with the person forever.
  • Thankfully, in spite of being a harmful disorder, vitiligo is not at all contagious. Vitiligo cannot be spread to others when they come in contact with a person suffering from vitiligo.

After reading these few points we hope you now know about vitiligo in a much better way.

Symptoms of Vitiligo

One of the common symptoms of Vitiligo is that the skin will have white patches in the affected areas. The white patches can occur on any part of the body ie hands, legs, lips, mouth and armsarmpit, groin, eyes, nostrils, navel and genitals.

In focal pattern this white patches will be seen only in some few areas and in segmental pattern this white patches will be seen in one side of the body and in bilateral pattern this white patches will be seen different parts of the body. Sometimes vitiligo may be associated with white hair (Leukotrichia)

Sometimes you may have difficulties in understanding whether a particular skin colour disorder is Vitiligo or not. Thus here are the symptoms to look out for:

  • Vitiligo results in loss of skin colour in different parts of the body in patches.
  • Early whitening or graying of hair present on your scalp, eyes or even the beard can indicate the onset of vitiligo.
  • Vitiligo even affects the mucous membrane inside your mouth and nise and therefore you will understand when the inside of the mouth starts losing colour as well.
  • Vitiligo usually spreads in different skin parts of the body. But it sometimes can also affect only one side of the body and is known as segmental vitiligo.

So here are the important symptoms that can be observed to understand whether a person has vitiligo or not. In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Hello,White patches on your skin are a common type of depigmented skin lesion associated with an infection, allergy, or autoimmune disorder. One common cause of white spots, or hypopigmentation, is a fungal infection of the skin known as tinea versicolor (associated with other symptoms, such as itching or dryness on or around the white patches). This fungal infection is not contagious and can be treated easily with over-the-counter medications. Please tell me other symptoms like about sensation on the area, since how long do you have this patch, any family history of white patch, etc. In the mean time you can take cal phos 6x, 4 tabs twice daily. Do send me a clear photo of the affected area.
