Just relax, do not panic, believe in yourself and your preparation. Lack of rest, anxiety, and improper nutrition leads to such problems. Moreover prolonged stress drains nutrients out of body. Have milk fruits and almonds. Go for 15-20 min walk. Do not sit continuously for hours, after every hour take a 10 min break by walking stretching etc. Enjoy the exams do not be scared of them.

What is the latest technology to recover the knee pain as well as back pain (L4 & L6)? My age is 65 years.

Dear well prolonged standing can cause back pain and leg pain. So you need breaks and create fitness. Do a combination of aerobics, yoga and strength training. Gradually you will feel better. Also take balanced diet and good sleep.

Hi, knee pain is very common in basket ball players. Due to nature of game i. E. Fast moving, jumping pivoting of knee involved in game. As information given by you. You might have patellar tendities or jumper's knee. Patella tendonitis is when the tendon at the base of the patella gets irritated from overuse. Suggest you to get it check with ortho or physio. To get proper diagnosis. Advice: *resting from activity or adapting a training regimen that greatly reduces any jumping or impact *icing the knee to reduce pain and inflammation *wearing a knee support or strap lto help support the knee and patella. A knee support or strap can help minimize pain and relieve strain on the patellar tendon. * rehabilitation programs that include muscle strengthening, concentrating on weight-bearing muscle groups like the quadriceps and calf muscles under supervision of phusiotherapist thanks and take care.

I have back ache for the past 5 or 6 tears. Alopathy doctors advise not to go for any massage treatment for this particular problem. Is it true?

Back pain starts with simple muscle fatigue initially but as soon as it start people goes to allopathy Dr. And that's how things starts to deteriorate. Simple stretching of back muscle, hamstring (google it-hamstring, glutes and erector spinea muscle stretching) can cure most of the back pain which are because of the long standing working pathology. But if it has become converted in to chronic do not go for it until suggested by an expert physio. For massage, it's again a vague term, a physio will use myofacial release to cute tighten tissue and will help in relieving pain and stiffness regards.

Your ankle might have sprain. Apply ice pack 5 times daily for 10 minutes every time. Use Crepe support or anklet during exercises.

Although I have not seen your pictures what exactly do you mean by flexibility but there are certain collagen disorders which can lead to hyper mobility in musculoskeletal system joints, although in some people it can be physiological as well, but it is usually an inherited trait. You actually need to meet a genetics doctor, department is there in good hospitals because they will screen you for certain pathologies and then let you know what could be a cause for it. Hands: Hot fomentation. Gentle Stretching of Hand Muscles. Ball exercises.Wrist Exerciser. Legs: Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Irregular periods r quite common in this age group, But you should use effective contraception as still there are some chances of getting pregnant. Do a urine pregnancy test yourself. If its negative. Then let me know I will prescribe you medicine for white discharge and morning sickness.

Hi I have pain in lower back from last 3 years. An Ortho. From Artemis Hospital Gurgaon told me that there is some problem in L5-L6 disk and I should get it changed. I am not feeling the pain on regular basis. Sometime, it is more than 15 days without any pain. However, there are times when I am unable to get up from the bed without any help. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part--knee & leg. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Use soft shoes avoid walking naked feet on hard surface you can also use silicon padding in your shoes, start streatching exercises of feet avoid long standing and putting excess pressure on the foot.
