I am 45 years old. I m suffering from sleep apnea for last two years. I also have DNS in my nose and snoring problems too. Kindly advise me what to do.

Hi, please follow these tips to stop snoring: - reduce your weight if you are obese. - perform pranayama (breathing exercises) everyday. - quit smoking which irritates the mucosal layer of the nose and throat and causes blockage and results in snoring. - quit alcohol and sedatives which relax the throat muscles and results in snoring. - sleep on sides instead on back. - elevate the head by using a thick pillow which eases the breathing. - clear the nose before going to bed. - establish regular sleep pattern. - keep the bedroom air moist by using humidifier; as dry air irritates the mucosal membrane in the nose and throat. - perform throat exercises like repeating the vowels a, e, i, o, you loudly for 2-3 mins few times a day or keeping the tongue behind the teeth and moving it backwards - 3-4 times a day. - anti snoring appliances can also be used.

Don't let more than four hours go by without eating. Eat several foods at once. Eat healthy, but dense foods. Drink your food. Eat right before bed. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day take banana milk shake. Take pranacharaya karsyatanashak capsule twice a day. Take sleep after taking meal drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products. Like butter. Ghee. Eat sweets.

You start swimming for that. As your age exceeded above 20 years, chances to grow height becomes impossible. But there are homoeopathic medicines available ti increase height. Please follow the below recommendation for your conditions: Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals. Note – Don’t eat bananas when you are down with common cold.

Dietary and other lifestyle changes can help you control and prevent high blood pressure. Eating a diet that is rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and skimps on saturated fat and cholesterol can lower your blood pressure by up to 14 mm hg. This eating plan is known as the dietary approaches to stop hypertension (dash) diet. Get plenty of potassium, which can help prevent and control high blood pressure. Eat less saturated fat and total fat. If you're overweight, losing even 3 kgs can lower your blood pressure. Strive for at least 30 minutes of physical activity a day. I being a both a registered dietitian (rd) and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. Various types of face wash won't do skin any good. Use face wash as per your skin type. If you have a dry skin, use a mild soap free face wash like moiz cleansing lotion. If your skin is oily, use a mild exfoliating face wash. There are various products available, you can look for these attributes and do accordingly. You can also do home made face masks like orange mask for oily skin and banana or papaya mask for dry skin.

There is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Tips for height gain:: 1.Try jumping n running early morning. 2.Practice yoga daily..talasana,trikonasana, hastpadasna,charkrasana ,suryanamaskar daily 10 min per asana. 3.Eat proteinious diet in breakfast lyk sprouts, boiled egg.... 3.Have 1 ltr of milk daily.... 4.Take 1 tab ashwgandha twice daily with milk with meals

Some thing infectious source is there thats why fever coming everyday, avoid oily, spicy ,fast, bakery foods, avoid food/water kept in fridge avoid excessive tea, coffee,cold drinks, avoid outside food ,water. Take warm water for drinking. Best Luck.

Every fruit contains natural sugaar in themm.the quantity of fruit and the form in which it is consumed affects your blood sugar.for ex Apple is low in sugars but when you have it in juice form ,it raises the sugar at a fast pace. Other fruits like banana,chickoo,mango when consumed have to be exchanged for the roti or rice taken in that particular meal. Remember to include seasonal fruits but within the allowances

use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take . green veg., whole grain foods, spicy foods, Use GARLIC in foods daily ,. Cod liver oil. Low sugar foods, low calories foods. Change own life style . do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily in morning and evening, do any one physically activity daily i.e. play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, alcohol,smoking, fatty foods, non-veg., avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. one important that is take 1 glass of water before bed at night. Because it protect from heart fail during sleep at night. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

Hello lybrate user, if in spite of taking oral medicine to the optimum and also making some dietary changes-your fasting blood sugar is 350, then you are highly uncontrolled. You are delaying the possibility of the start of insulin but believe me the kind of sugar levels that you have currently -insulin is the only reality for you. As days pass with this high sugar level even the small capacity that your body has for this production of insulin will also keep on decreasing. There is a thing called glucose toxicity which basically means that the exposure of high amount of sugar is toxic to the body cells that produce insulin. Your attitude and commitment should complement your doctor's efforts to save you from a bad situation later in your life. I totally agree that you have a choice in the decision-making of your treatment but when that decision starts to endanger your health and life - then you should let your Dr. Take the better decision for you. Help your doctor help you. Regards.
