Is par curable? my son (5year old) has mild asthma but allergic rhinites all the year. Doctors of allopathy said if it is not cured asthma will not go. They have given mometasone nasal spray and montec lc for one month. The problem is that after the course of montec lc is completed ar comes back despite the constant use of mometasone. What should I do? I have tried Ayurveda medicine (prescription medicine) without effect.

Diploma in Child Health (DCH), MBBS

You need to continue medications as advised by your doctor and review on a monthly basis. Do not stop the medicines on your own else the symptoms would relapse. We generally titrate the medicines very slowly over a period of few months to keep the child asymptomatic.

Agreed Sir, but is it ok that doctor advised medicine for both illness as omnacortil 60 mg (steroid) also running with TB medicine Forecox (2 Tab Daily, benadon, dytor, rabium dsr, thronom, eido, cetanil medicine daily dose. Earlier ACE level was 116, calcium 13, but now only calcium test redone got level 8.75 after taking medicine zoledronic acid.

MD PULMONARY, DTCD
Pulmonologist, Faridabad
Decrease in calcium levels is due to zoledronic acid. Sometime a dicy situation to treat both or TB only, specialy if histopathlogist is not able to diagnose. Moreover, sarcoidosis is a self limiting disease in most and do not require treatment in some.
