Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket. And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back. You may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * surya namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

1. It could be due to anxiety, stress, obesity, anemia, blocked nose, dns, nasal polyp, adenoid, sinusitis, asthma, allergy. Heart problem 2. Get yourself medically examined by doctor and follow the advice and treatment accordingly.

yes. no other treatment will help you. Physiotherapy deals with musculoskeletal injuries. Even if you consult any orthopaedist he will too recommend you to go for Physiotherapy. If exercise effects comes in medicine form,then it would be highest sold drug in the world. regards

Vitamin D deficiency also has calcium deficiency accompanying. Get serum levels tested for both. An x-ray spine or Dexa scan for T score will give more clue whether backache is due to osteoporosis or not, also x-ray will provide whether osteoarthritis is also present. Consult a physician, you may require vitamin d3 and calcium supplements. If you write to me above tests reports, being orthopaedic specialist, I could advise specific medications if needed for osteoporosis or osteoarthritis as the case maybe. Sexual weakness is usually due to physical weakness, deficiency of hormones or undue mental stress. All this can be taken care of by a physician or by me after tests advised. Androgen meds help for both bone mineralization and sexual weakness if any.

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -some physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief. -a full history of your problem should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist. Please consult a physiotherapist for the same. Best wishes.

Hello lybrate user, back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contacts your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it doe s not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference?

It requires detailed investigation and examination. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Hi thanks for your query. If you have only localized shoulder pain, then you have to rule out any injury as a cause for it. There are many causes of shoulder pain but we have to look out for a cause as treatment is dependent on it. If there is no swelling/fever etc, then I think intensive physical therapy with a short course of anti-inflammatory medications can be tried, if it does not improve in next 2-3 weeks, then we will have to evaluate to find out a cause and treat accordingly. Pain during menstruation is called as dysmenorrhoea. If you r suffering from this since long time and if it is not controlled by meftal spas and if you have to stay at home during menses because of pain, then you should get sonography done to find out the cause. It could be ovarian cyst or endometriosis also.

Dear, follow these best method to get fast relief from piles: *. Fill a tub with luke warm water. Put a stool in centre of tub and sit onstool. Note that your hips are within the water. Sit for 10-15 minute. It willrecover your swelling. You can add 1/2 tea spoon of salt and neem leaves 5-10 in water for fast recovery. * apply glycerine or coconut oil dipped cotton gauze on the anus in night. *. Diet plays very important role. Eat a lot of leafy vegetables, high roughage food (oat meals, daliya, corn). These diet softens your stools and anus feels little pressure during defeacation (stool extraction) and recover fastly. *avoid cheese, egg, potatoes, westren foods (burgers, pizza, white bread etc), soft drinks. These foods enhances constipation and can increase the swelling. *do not sit on couch for a long time. Walk for atleast 2-3 minutes in 3-4 hours. *take half tea spoon of turmeric (haldi powder), a pinch of carom (ajwain. Add then in a glass of water. Boil it for 2-3 minutes. Drink 30 ml ofthis water 2 times (morning and evening. It relieves your piles very fastly * you can take triphala power 1 tea spoon with one glass of water in evening daily. Atleast for 3 months. It will heal your piles and make your anus normal.
