I am 26 years old male, sometime I have pain on right testicles, scrotum, prostate, back of my leg from knee, sharp pain on the hip and like a bone pain inside the butt. It all happens on right side and it happens like 2 or 3 times in a day and it all are like a mild pain.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and start with Tablet folvite 5mg once a day for six months and tablet vitamin D3 60000iu once a week for six months

I am 63 years old male, When I get up from bed in the morning I feel pain at the end point of my legs bone. But after half an hour it comes back to normal, what to do. I am regular and practiced jogger, skipper and yoga exerciser since last fifty years. Still travel alone to long distance by bike, But no trouble. I don't have any sugar problem.

Hi pain or soreness in the foot, that eases with time during the day, is generally indicative of plantar fasciitis. The first step you take generally after sitting or standing for a long time or when you get up from the bed is painful. As you start walking the pain clears up. Plantar fascia is a ligament that connects your heel bone to your toes. Other causes of foot pain can be rheumatoid arthritis, faulty arch, ligament tears, fractures, and gout. +wear soft padded footwear. +do stretching of calf muscles +learn strengthening exercise of ankle +take contrast bath at physio clinic. I'm 18 years old suffering from hypothyroidism ky immune system is not very strong my palm sweat alot I feel very cold I feel very weak at the end of day my joints pain alot I have very weak eyes my head pain alot I can't work continuously.

Vaishnaviji, For treating hypothyroidism are taking thyroxine tablets regularly in prescribed dosage? If hypothyroidism is not controlled then cold intolerance is quite common. Plus feeling of weakness and early fatigue also occur and there may constant increase in weight. I am sure you are following the instructions given regarding dosing of thyroxine tablets, it must be taken early morning on empty stomach, there after nothing to be taken for 2 hours. This has to be meticulously adhered to. Plus avoid soya beans, soya containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, radish, mustard, peanuts and coffee. Consume more green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Use whole grain flour for making chapati and rotl. Plus exercise regularly that will increase your fitness level. Anyway you may try sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

Dear lybrate-user ji, you need to do xray l/s spine ap&lat view, xray pelvis with both hips -true ap. Do hot fomentation. Avoid sitting continuously for longer duration. Avoid lifting heavy weight. If pain is severe, you can take anti inflammatory medicine for 2-3 days. Visit orthopaedician with reports.

From an orthopaedic point of view I can advise you for intensive physical therapy, daily brisk walks for 2-3 km, gentle anti inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or tab paracetamol for pain relief for 5-7 days, adequate calcium and vitamin d intake. I have problem in my left leg. I think it is because of laptop air thrown out by fan and contact with leg, at that point I feel like very high sensitivity. Also sometimes only left leg highly paining. Please suggest me some remedies or some medicine. Thank you.

Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi, thanks for using lybrate for your query, i'll suggest you to have a short warm up period that include stretching your calf, hamstring, quadriceps, upper back before you start your play as it reduces your post game pains. N for now as your suffering from thigh pain go for hot fomentation over thigh region that'll help in relaxing thigh muscle.

My mother have pain in legs heel and on both side of heel. We have consulted too many doctors but there is no benefit. What can I do.

Nothing much to worry. You have not mentioned her age and does she have pain in other joints or body parts. And since how long she is feeling that pain. Sometimes the simple cause could be the footwear we are using. Ask her to start wearing Dr. Comfort sole chappals which we can easily buy from the market. Even at home she should wear this. STop wearing flat chappals. And secondly she can start doing footsoak in lukewarm water with a bit of rock salt before going to bed. It will overall relax her nerves and she will feel better.

Yes its sciatica pain. If pain is acute means last 2 days then do hot fermentation and apply pain relief ointment and do stretching exercise like supine lying bend your one knee and do hip flex and hold then do straight leg raise do 3 to 5 time according your comfortable ness if it work then ok otherwise swd tens and ultrasonic therapy rest must equal balance on both legs avoid toward bending.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. I am 72 years old male and I have pain on my heels (people say plasterfastic pain) and now added knee pain. Tried hot water and cold water therapy, not much success. Now applying ayurvedic oils like karpoorathy thailam etc. Doing few floor exercises like folding and releasing, knee lifting and lowering. Can you please suggest any better way of handling this pain.
