I have pain on my penis while masturbating. Why its happening. Yesterday my girlfriend lick my penis that time also I get pain.

BHMS
Homeopath, Sindhudurg
You shouldn't have any pain in the penis. Pain indicates something is wrong there. It is possible you have ruptured a vein or artery in the penis, or damaged the sponge-like material that holds blood in to make an erection. I recommend you see a urologist in person for a diagnosis.

Pls explain the male psychology about love and relationships. My relationship is on the verge. Still my bf blames Me that m the at fault but actually he is at fault. He tells my friends he knows his mistakes but in front of Me he behaves different. And whenever I try to cut off and ignore. He chases me. And then feels v bad about it that how could I leave him. Still he goes with is friends only and those are the ones who criticise about me a lot.I'M much confused. Pls help me to make everything smooth like before. Or help me about how can I forget things and move on. I'M 20.

M.S. Counselling and Psychotherapy
Psychologist, Bangalore
Dear lybrate user, this is typical in a couple relationship. This happens because the boy and the girl belong to completely different families which have different values and beliefs. Both - the boy and the girl have certain expectations from their partner, which is a result of their own perception. When these expectations are not met, the problems in the relationship starts. It is advisable that either, you both or at least you yourself need to consult a counsellor for pri- marital counselling. The counsellor will do the needful. Please seek professional help, before getting married, irrespective of whether you remain in the same relationship or you want to move on.

In blood test report for sugar my plasma post 171, plasma fasting 128, and hbA1c (ngsp) 7.2 HbA1c (IFCC) 55.05 and estimated average glucose 159.9 what medicine should I take for this?

MBBS, MRCGP ( UK), Diploma in Diabetes (UK), DFSRH (UK), DRCOG (UK)
Endocrinologist, Hyderabad
Hello Sir, Your blood glucose levels are borderline high. With appropriate medication and proper diet and exercise I am fairly certain that the glucose would come down to normal range. Reducing your weight will help you a lot too to reduce your blood glucose levels. The diet that will help you both with weight loss and blood glucose control is as follows: - eat plenty of vegetables either as salads or in curry form (made with less oil or fat). Avoid potatoes, colocasia, yam etc. Limit your carbohydrates intake- like rice, roti, chapati etc. Use whole grains wherever possible like bajra, Raghu, different types of mullets, whole wheat Upma etc. Take a small bowl of dal everyday. You can eat 2 fruits (avoid mango, jack fruit, sapota etc). Can drink glass of milk, take curds/buttermilk. Avoid sweets, cakes, biscuits, junk food etc. Exercise at least 45 min/day, includes brisk walking, cycling, jogging, swimming etc. I cannot advise you which medication to take in open forum due to Lybrate rules. You can consult me privately for that as private consultation. Or you could see a good diabetologist where you live. I hope this has helped you Thank you.

Why I am sleeping too much? Yesterday I slept 16 hrs constantly. My BP is 70/110. I am preparing for JEE and at this important time I feel lazy why?

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
You must be feeling exhausted. Exam stress, improper eating habits, late night studies, all contribute to fatigue. Have a healthy balanced diet containing fruits and vegetables. Sleep for at least 7 to 9 hours daily and fix your sleeping schedule accordingly. You can take vitamins for supplements. That should be fine.

This is for my mother, she is 53 old lady, her problem is she sleep one night well but another night didn't sleep this comes routine even she was working how to cure her problem?

PG Diploma in Emergency Medicine Services (PGDEMS), Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), MD - Alternate Medicine

Home Remedy- 1-One of the simplest and most effective ways to induce sleep is to rub some oil on the scalp and the soles of the feet before going to bed. 2-Use sesame oil, brahmi oil, jasmine oil, or coconut oil and massage gently for a few minutes. Slightly warming the oil before applying is helpful. 3-1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Treatment- 1-Take sarpgandha vati 1-1 tab twice a day. 2-Take pranacharya no tens capsule 1-1 twice a day. Diet-avoid spicy food. Junk food. Fermented food. Tea.coffee. Do pranayama early in the morning.

My mother in law suffered from heart blockage problem n blockage in brain too n suffered from paralysis attack so m worried about her diet so pls Dr. suggest me which food she hv to focused n which is to be avoid. And she like non veg diet a lot. Will it be still good for her health pls suggest me. Thanks.

Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, MBBS
General Physician, Delhi
Continue medicines, reasons for blockages in heart or brain or in rest of the body are same and it's called plaque, starts with inflammation within blood vessels due to wrong eating habits. Non veg food can be taken in little amounts but only if steamed or grilled, no animal fats soaking in it, but masala like black pepper and chat masala are okay. Reduce her salt despite bp under control. Take lemon juice and honey added to it on empty stomach every morning. Besides reducing weight it helps to protect heart and blood vessels. Give her lots of seasonal vegetables and fruits plus eating according to constitution. Take more proteins like milk and curds. All of the supplements for proteins which she likes. Walking is simple exercise that helps you to reduce sugar and lipids and clear blood vessels of blockages. Stay positive. Stay occupied.

As one should eat chicken with removed fat or the skin but do restaurants remove the upper skin of the chicken when dey prepare the chicken at such high temperatures.

PGDD, RD, Bachelor of Home Science
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Mumbai
Hye. Thank you for your query. Well, actually chicken skin does not add so much calories to your total chicken calories. Also chicken cooked with skin intact actually helps lesser absorption of cooking oil and it's better to cook chicken in its own fat rather than add too much excess fats. Also most recipes call for skin to be intact hence restaurants usually do not desk in the chicken. Actually the chicken skin is not really the concern but it's the batter frying, deep frying and oily dishes that cause the increase in the calorific value of the dish.

Establish regular sleep hours. •Minimize distractions. •Your eating habits can influence your migraines. •Be consistent. Eat at about the same time every day. Don't skip meals.
