I am 63 years old man, I keep getting back ache which lasts for a week and goes off, but this time since last month I am having back ache particularly when I am bending forward or sitting in a chair leaning forward. I have taken x ray today and the radiologist remarks are. Straightening of lumbar spinemultilevel anterior marginal osteophytes notedvertebral bodies are niormal in heightsdisc spaces are maintainedpericles and neural arches appear normalpre and para vertebral soft tissue appears to. Stiffness in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It may have to be further investigated. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again. Contact your family doctor or nearest hospital for emergency help. This may give you relief in legs as well.

I am 25 years old male. I have nerve pain problem exactly at the back of my knees. I had consulted many doctors. They use to write me medical courses which I had completed many times by different doctors. Also I use to take herbal and ayurvedic medicines. But none of the medicine proved successful. Dear, First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

One of my friend he is suffering due to dislocation of l5/s1 disc. The residual ap canal diameter at this level measures 6.7 mm only. Few of the doctors suggested him to do surgery but few of them not recommending surgery because he is just 27 years old. Now he is taking Ayurveda medicine. Kindly recommend the best solution or medication for this problem.

Surgery should be avoided on vertebral column and spinal cord. It's better to get full panchakarma at good ayurveda hospital near you. Yoga postures, deep breathing will also help. Ayurvedic medicine once suit you, will be immensely beneficial.

Hello lybrate user avoid over exetcises, work and pressure over knee joints. Massage with mahanarayan oil before bath. Use knee caps regularly. Tale tab yogaraj guggulu 2-0-2 after meals.

It is called as peri arthritis shoulder and for that you can do hot water fermentation and ice therapy at home. If you have shoulder pain then the stiffness will develop more that might make the arm to restrict with the normal range of motion in the shoulder joint and there by the blood circulation gets minimized to the shoulder / arm. In few cases if the sleep is disturbed because of the shoulder pain then Cervical pillow can be used which might make you to have better posture of the shoulder, neck and arm Physiotherapy Treatment: You shall also take physiotherapy treatment called shortwave diathermy which would help you to get relieved with pain. Interferential therapy can be given. If the stiffness is more then Wax therapy should be given along with shoulder manipulation which will help to reduce the stiffness and the range of motion will be improved in the shoulder joint.

1) do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min. Afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) start natural calcium supplement. 3) do regular stretching exercise 4) in yoga do bhujangasan, halasan & suryanamaskar. Hello, there are several causes of joint pain such as arthritis , osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis, sprains , strain, bursitis, fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue syndrome etc. please share more of symptoms so that i can make diagnosis. .this back pain is due to no back exercise.... due to this muscle get stiff .... when suddenly you get move fast that time this stiff muscle get break and pain start..... in ayurved there is mentioned one procedure KATI BASTI ....DO THIS FOR FIVE DAYS WITH MEDICATED OIL if you want to do it you should do it under doctor observation .... so consult ayurvedic doctor near you ... you will definitely get good result .. for being healthy first of all you should follow some basic thing 1.avoid=hot and cold at time 2.less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3.dont drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4.avoid late nght sleep
