keep your face or piples sight dry, wash 4-5 time a day, apply retino-a cream at night and wash your face before sun rise as sun rays can darken your face. A quick and easy solution can be found in your kitchen or your nearest grocery store — lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 1. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 2. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.

Hello, These are some home made tips to get shiny and strong long hair. *Massage the scalp for 10 to 15 minutes after bathing with water. This stimulates the blood circulation and strengthens the hair follicles *Massage the scalp and hair with coconut milk or Aloe Vera gel. Leave it for ½ hour, and then rinse with warm water. Repeat 3 times a week. *Massage into the scalp and hair honey with egg yolk. Leave for a 1/2 hour, then rinse. *Massage almond oil on scalp 2-3 times a day, daily. This will stop further hair loss. *Rinse hair with a mix of apple cider vinegar and sage tea to help hair grow *Make a shampoo by mixing 100 g each of amla (Indian goose berry), reetha, and shikakai and boil in two liters of water until the liquid reduces to half. Use this shampoo for your hair for at least one month. Your hair will become thick.

I am 25 now. But when I was in my teenage years I had lots of acne all over on face. Acne is vanished now but it has left the embarrassing scars on my face. Kindly tell the remedy for there acne scars. Thank you.

Hello, I will prescribe gels that will help improve acne marks to little extent. Apply melaglow or kojic cream one pea size drop for full face in evening for 6 weeks to take care of acne spots. Avoid sun exposure, use photostable sunscreen 15 minutes before sun exposure. Red spots, holes or scars left by acne have to be treated with multiple sittings of procedures like peels, microdermabrasion, subscission or laser. Creams are not effective.

Dear Lybrate user, *These are the methods & instructions to avoid pimples and black spots: • To control the sebum secretion you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive sebum production and causes acne. So do not take stress and do exercise daily, practice of yoga, breathing exercises will helps to detoxification. •Drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. * consume more fluids, vegetables • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. *Massage face with baking soda by mixing with little water.

The treatment for oily skin and acne is very simple and should be done to prevent scars and pigmentation. The very 1st step should be to see a good local dermatologist who should assess you in detail, since every individual patient is unique and treatment will need to be very specific for each different patient. After a detailed history and examination, your dermatologist may recommend a few blood tests. Treatment normally consists of topical cream/s and sometimes oral medications of different kinds. With proper management, your acne should be come under control within a few months. For scars that have already developed, your dermatologist may recommend certain cosmetic procedures using peels, lights or electrical machines. Check the qualifications of your dermatologist to ensure that he/ she has adequate qualifications to perform these procedures. Meanwhile, do not use cosmetics or creams and keep your skin clean using any ordinary soap or face wash. Most advertised cosmetic products in the media are of no use.

You are probably suffering from what Dermatologist call urticaria. Common causes are food allergy infection or drugs. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we I call hives or wheals. Although in most cases cause remains unknown in spite of a thorough search. It can be symptomatically treated so that you do not get any new hives and the treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months. Please consult me in private chat for further details or visit a nearby Dermatologist.

I am 26 years old. My hairs are turning into grays since 2010. I tried mahabhrungraj oil for 3 months but it couldn't help. I wants to stop the graying of hairs. So please suggest some remedy. It is possible to turn the grays into black again? If yes then how? Does oil massage for 6 to 8 months make any effect? I heard that Eating black sesame seeds will help to turn greys black again? Is it true? Please help. I never smoke. I am a vegetarian. I don't eat salty or fast food. But from past few years I usually sleeps at late nights. Please help.

MBBS, MD - Psychiatry, MBA (Healthcare)

Hi there ~ trying the remedies that you suggest might be helpful, however if stress and lack of sleep/sleep cycle difficulties is the cause then book an appointment with me so that I can try to help with medications. I am glad you do not smoke as it can add to early graying and being vegetarian has nothing to do with premature graying. Using over the counter multivitamin multimineral medications may be helpful and I can suggest some as well. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day! sincerely

Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5.Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6.Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7.You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8.You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9.Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. I am 20 years old male. I just got my head shaved because of hair fall. What should I apply on my head for good growth of hair.

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine berberis aquifolium 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. *clean your skin gently with a mild face wash removing all dirt or make-up. Wash many times a day with plain water. *get an adequate amount of sleep. *avoid touching your face with your hands or try to squeeze pimples, it may leave permanent scars and spread the infection. *make a habit of 8-10 glasses of water daily. *avoid fried and spicy food. *include fruits, raw vegetables and fresh vegetable juices in your diet. *avoid stress and anger. *avoid harsh skin products.
