Dear fiend, too much thinking means too many desires, which are always in future. We all are obsessed with future, not too much concerned with present, but the life always throbs in the present. Enjoy your present, and avoid getting into the trap of what one should be all the time. Also the single pointed focus on the result of all the activities brings stress. Instead try being focused on the activity itself. You are young do not complicate your life. Cheers.

We would need more information like since when, depressed about what, what are your symptoms etc to help you. Yet it will be good if you see a counsellor and psychiatrist in your city. However, in depression, it is suggested that you look at the positive side of things, find meaning in whatever you consider as a loss to you, exercise a lot, take a walk in the sun, have friends and a social life who are funny, cheerful and progressive, eat healthy food, sleep on time and get up on time, have a daily plan of activities and make sure that you achieve most of it. Negative thinking needs to be challenged with counter thoughts that bring in contradicting evidence. Take support of your family or friends to come out of depression as its difficult to remain self motivated. Yoga, meditation, ayurveda, homeopathy also help a lot in depression without any side effects.

Infections that can have serious consequences if not treated are genital warts, syphilis, and possibly herpes. Genital warts are (usually multiple) small, skin-colored bumps. Syphilis looks like a sore and can appear in the genital area or on the lips and mouth. It is a bacteria, so it can be treated with antibiotics. I would recommend that you go to see your primary care doctor about this issue. There are several potential causes of these white painless bumps, and they can help you figure out what they might be with a careful physical examination. One possibility is that these represent a viral infection of the skin in the pubic area. There are two common viral infections that can occur here. One is genital warts, which are caused by the human papilloma virus. They other is molluscum contagiosum. Both of these viral infections can be treated with freezing or topical medications. It is important to make the diagnosis, because they are both contagious, and they could be passed to other areas of your body or to your partner. Another possibility is that these represent ingrown hairs, which occur when a hair turns back on itself and grows back down into the base of the hair follicle. Ingrown hairs are more common in those who shave the pubic area, but they can occur in anyone. They generally do not require any specific treatment, other than good skin hygiene, gentle exfoliation, and avoidance of shaving and other irritating skin treatments. Start by making an appointment with your primary care doctor today.

Hello Dear,According to Ayurveda, hair is a byproduct of bone formation. The factors responsible for building bones are also responsible for the hair re-growth. Ayurveda doctors believe that early hair loss is related to body type and the balance of the mind-body constitution (doshas). Excess pitta in the sebaceous gland, at the root of the hair, or folliculitis can make the person start losing hair. We loose hair after a certain growth and new hair replaces the older one, which means recycling of hair. Hair loss means losing more hair than you naturally lose. As our hair grows under a natural process, so we can take care of growth only by natural resources and methods. Visit us at www.Malhotraayurveda.Com

What is Aesthetic Medicine?

MBBS, Diploma in Venerology & Dermatology (DVD)
Dermatologist
Ask Free Question
Aesthetic medicine is a developing branch of medicine and scientific research. The objective is to cosmetically enhance an individual's physical appearance with nominally invasive procedures. It is a modern field and is not just restricted to plastic surgeons and dermatologists. Most medical specialists can offer services in the field of aesthetic medicine.

The major types of procedures and techniques are:
1. Surgical techniques
a. Liposuction: This is a surgical cosmetic technique, which is used to remove fat from certain areas of the body to re-shape the body and reduce weight.
b. Facelifts: A facelift is a surgical procedure, which is done to restore the healthy and youthful features of the skin by injecting dermal fillers (soft tissue) into the hollow or sagging parts of the face or neck.
c. Radiofrequency ablation: In this medical procedure, a radio wave produces electric current and eliminates the diseased or non-functional tissues. The technique has applications outside aesthetic medicine too, such as treating tumors, chronic pain, heart problems, etc.
d. Hair transplant: Hair transplantation surgery is a procedure where the hair follicles are surgically removed from a donor site and implanted on the recipient side to cover up bald spots. The hair follicles are taken from the patient and so, the grafted hair continues its natural growth after surgery.
2. Non-Surgical techniques
a. Radio frequency skin tightening: This is a non-surgical alternative to facelifts and it produces the connective tissues (collagen and elastin) in order to remodel the tissues and tighten the skin of the face and the neck.
b. Chemical peel: A chemical peel is a type of skin treatment, which is used to smoothen and improve the texture of skin. It is especially done for the facial skin to remove lines, folds and wrinkles. The procedure causes the dead skin cells to peel off and the new skin that appears is more even and youthful.
c. Non-surgical liposuction: This procedure is done using laser energy and ultrasound and the subcutaneous fat cells are eliminated. There is no suction, incision or injection involved. These techniques are of lower risk as compared to surgical weight loss procedures.
d. Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Hair Removal: The Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) procedure involves a spectrum of wavelengths (similar to those of a light bulb), which are targeted at the skin and some of the wavelengths can remove body hair. Laser hair removal is slightly more effective than IPL because it involves a focused beam of light in one specific wavelength, which targets the hair follicles of your skin.

Surgery can be a good option because it can help him overcome immobility. If he is medically fit then the option of surgery is good. You can take a second opinion if you have not made up the mind. Post surgery, physiotherapy can help him a lot.

Hye, thanks for the query. You are underweight for your height. Firstly you need to gain healthy weight and improve your stamina, energy levels and immunity. Understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism along with your daily diet and exercise routine. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Weight gain is all about taking more calories than you burn. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. There is no one food that helps weight gain. Eat meals at frequent intervals. You need to eat at least 6 main and mid meals a day. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits, dry fruits, starchy vegetables, rice, bread, whole grain cereals, smoothies, masala milk, ghee, cream in your meals. Just eating sugary, sweet foods is not good. Try to have healthy deserts like kheer, chikki or lassi. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. It helps development of muscle mass and improves appetite. Even if you were to take just medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation. You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal and good exercise routine, it's crucial.

Hi, I m 33. Have been experiencing lot of hair fall since 2010. My hair has become scanty with the hairline on the forehead receding. In 2009 i had gained weight since I was at home & after resuming work in 2010, I lost weight, since then I have noticed losing bunches of hair strands. My diet is ok, not much into junk. Veggies & fruits are part of my diet. I have not been able to find a suitable shampoo so I keep trying different ones. Used to oil & was hair atleast 3 times a week. Either the hair becomes frizzy with tangles at the end, or they get lifeless with small boils & dandruff like on the scalp. I do not have any related health issue like anaemia or anything else. Pls help.

It can definitely b treated.Rubbing and scrubbing should be avoided. Do not use any form of wax, creams, blades on it. Do not rub lemon, garlic or any other caustic agent on it. what you can do is use an oatmeal scrub which you can prepare at home using some oat flakes n honey. This vil help reduce the pores and moisturise your skin. Do this twice daily and a month later you can top up this method with some medication which vil bring significant changes.

Take the sandalwood and make it as fine powder. Then add the glycerin and rose water to the sandalwood powder. Make it as the smooth paste and apply on the face. All the three ingredients are helpful in removing the dark spots, black spots.
