Migraine cannot be cured. Avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your migraines in the past, avoid them. Reduce your caffeine and alcohol intake and avoid tobacco. In general, establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress. Exercise regularly. Regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines. If your doctor agrees, choose any aerobic exercise you enjoy, including walking, swimming and cycling. Warm up slowly, however, because sudden, intense exercise can cause headaches. Obesity is also thought to be a factor in migraine headaches, and regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)
Homeopath, Hyderabad
For your wife Her problem may be related to her father's expiry. Let her follow this*Keep your bed room neat, dark and cool. You may cover your eyes with bed sheet. *Drink plenty of water during the day rather than toward bedtime. *Don’t have stimulating drinks like tea or coffee Drinking a glass of milk before going to bed is fine. The problem can be treated by homeopathy and without adverse effects. Take homoeopathic medicine Ignatia 200 twice daily in the morning and evening.

Symptoms *Nausea and vomiting *Headache *Irritability *Depression or euphoria *Fatigue *Excessive sleepiness *Craving for certain food items *Altered mood *Constipation or diarrhoea *Increased urination *Stiff muscles (especially in the neck)

Severe throbbing headache, intermittent, with nausea, vomiting. Hi, it would not be appropriate to prescribe medicines with out knowing the exact cause behind your issues. First and foremost, I would advise you to consult a neuro physician at the earliest. He/ she shall be able to clinically examine you and diagnose the problem appropriately. In the meantime, however, you should keep up your diet and lifestyle with due room for regular exercise/ walking, relaxation and de-stressing. Focus on more of leafy greens, fresh fruits et al and stay hydrated. It is advisable to restrict intake of tea, coffee, sweets, salt, greasy, oily and fatty foods including fast foods. Alcohol and smoking, if any, be best avoided too.
