Disc bulge is a problem you should not ignore and it is serious too but it's symptoms and problems can be releived with proper back care, life style modification and regular exercises. If not done so it can be worsened.

Hello sir, my son is advanced shuttle player he will be practicing nearly 2 to 3 hours a day he is only 15yrs old but I can feel cracking noise in all joints of his body and he got complaint of calf muscle pain soon he wake up from the bed please suggest me some good remedy.

Hi As far as sounds from the joints of the body is concerned, it is usually due to rubbing of uneven joint surfaces on one another, so it is not a cause of concern if there is no associated pain, swelling or any other joint symptoms. As far as pain in his calf muscles is concerned, he has to to do regular physical therapy, adequate calcium and vitamin d intake and can take a short course of an anti inflammatory medication.

I have sinovitus in my right knee and swelling continuously. How can it be improved

Sinovitis is an inflammation of the synovial fluid. It causes pain while taking stress on joint. Repeated friction movement may aggravate the situation. So avoid doing squatting, kneeling, half kneeling&excessive knee bending activities. Cold pack is beneficial with laser therapy &ultrasonic treatment. Dear, Osteoarthritis is age-related wear and tear of your joints and is expected with aging in almost everyone. Most of older gentlemen have weakness of the muscles around the knee -the quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles. That adds up to the strain on the knees and increases the pain. The treatment is multidirectional. Avoid climbing up and downstairs, low dose pain killers (as advised by your family practitioner) will reduce your acute pain. Do not squat for your toilet. Use the higher (western) commode. Start on a few sessions of physiotherapy to strengthen your muscles. Make a practice of regular walking. If pain is excessive make use of a walking stick support. Sir my Vitamin count D is 8 and since last month I am having frequent pain in right hand joint after taking pain killer it is over but after two days again it start pains in leg knee joint take it pain in hand and legs joint at irregular interval.

Your vitamin d is very low. You need to start vitamin d and calcium. Sunlight exposure. Milk consumption. You need exercises as well.

I am 45 years old female. I have pain at one point on the middle of the backbone. Consulted orthopaedic took x-ray n told no problem in that, prescribed calcium tablet but even after 3 months pain persists. For routine work no problem wen I touch that spot I feel pain. After chikengunea infection sometimes joint pain may persist for a very long time.Take adequate rest, avoid physical and mental exertion, take good nourishing diet. Take pain killer like paracetamol as and when required. Consult doctor for further advice

Sir my grandmother is recently operated for a fracture in leg where the broken bone injured a artery after the operation the leg is not moving and is slowly turning blue doctors are saying that it was due to error in artery joining and due to which blood circulation has stopped in the leg . They are suggesting to cut the leg else there is a life risk in cleaning the blood clot sir I wanna know is there any other way to start the circulation again so that there would not be a need to cut her leg please reply soon.

Dear I get that it is painful decision to cut the leg but when there is no circulation of blood the part dies and become gangrene. So if it is not amputated it will cause infection and even death. So get rid of it and then she an walk with artificial limb later.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello dear which exercise you had done. Had you consult with your physio. You have to do hot fermentation to your knees. Wear knee cap during heavy activities. Gentle ointment massage also can do. Consult with me again after 3days.

If stretching is not giving you relief then firstly tk heat fermentation apply pain relief ointment and avoid long sitting and toward bending. 2nd option tk physio treatment for pain relief must for you.

Before running do stretching exercise then do nw do rest tk hot and cold pack and apply pain relief ointment avoid strain and long standing. After relief do stretching exercise in daily routine. Tk calcium supplements.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: rest. Ceasing activity for a few days allows injured tissue and even nerve roots to begin to heal, which in turn will help relieve lower back pain. However, more than a few days of rest can lead to a weakening of the muscles, and weak muscles have to struggle to adequately support the spine. Patients who do not regularly exercise to build strength and flexibility are more likely to experience recurrent or prolonged lower back pain. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.
