You may require scaling (cleaning of teeth) and follow instructions which the dentist gives you. If you are taking any other medications or you have any other medical problems then that could also be 1 of the causes.

We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

I am 22 years old and lives in india. For the past 10 years I am suffering from mouth ulcer and I tried allopathy, homeo and ayurveda, but none of them provided with best results. Can you help me?

LCPS, BAM&S
General Physician, Pune
Mouth ulcers are caused by local chemical irritants like betel nut, tobacco, chewing gums, tea/coffee, cold drinks etc. Find out what irritates the mouth and stop it. \ Second cause is systemic disturbances like vitamin deficiency, oral thrush etc. Third cause is stress on mind and body. Slow down life. Sleep well. Eat well. Drink plenty of water. Do this for a month and then report back. Your case needs a careful and deep handling by a lifestyle consultant. The condition is difficult, but certainly curable.

•If your cavity in the tooth is caused by decay, your dentist will remove the decayed area and replace it with a filling. •If the pulp inside your tooth is infected, you may need root canal treatment. This procedure involves removing the infected pulp and then inserting a special type of filling to seal the tooth and prevent re-infection.

When plaque and tartar accumulate in the teeth, they give rise to gum diseases. But if taken care of at the right time, they can reversed at the initial stage itself. By getting the plaque and tartar removed from the teeth, you can easily get rid off them.

Saving a fallen tooth can be useful. Try to keep it in place while you seek immediate medical attention. If that is not the case, try wrapping the tooth in a piece of plastic or soaking it into milk and call for immediate dental service.

The presence of flouride in the tooth paste helps in keeping tooth problems away. It hardens the tooth enamel which is healthy for the teeth and reduces the risk of tooth decay.

Also she has lost 70%of her teeth still she does nt want to visit dental surgeon for treatment. Is this could be a reason for her high blood pressure. Please help.

Hii. The antihypertensive drugs can be the cause for the loss of teeth. Actually what happens is the antihypertensive drugs causes increase in the size of gingiva. Leading to difficulties in maintaining proper oral hygiene. That eventually leads to tooth loss.

Tobacco use. Smoking or chewing tobacco can stain teeth. Poor dental hygiene. Inadequate brushing and flossing.... here is home remedy for brighter teeth--- Mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes. for faster result you can go for TEETH BLEACHING from dentist...
