I am 18 year old and very concerned with my increasing myopia. It is currently -6.50 in both eyes. After my study sessions too my eyes feel very tired although I take breaks every 2 hrs and keep splashing water on my eyes to relax. Also I am worried with my dark circles, be it exam season or vacation time they always accompany me. I want to know till what age myopia will increase and can it beat least reduced by following some diet regimes or exercise? Please advice Thanks in advance.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 18 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

Hi, You may have social Anxiety. You can overcome it with psychotherapy/counseling. Everyone has a little bit of social fear. Without it, you would never learn how to conduct yourself in a socially appropriate manner. It's a little bit of social anxiety that ensures we don't talk to dangerous people, or say inappropriate things to those we're trying to impress. Even the most social people have a small amount of fear in them, and that social anxiety helps them maintain a more positive appearance. But when that anxiety becomes too strong, or you start to fear the anxiety itself, you may have developed social phobia. Social phobia is a diagnosable anxiety disorder, and one that can benefit from treatments designed to fight these social fears. Start Strong Any time you do talk to someone, don't start quietly and expect yourself to gain momentum over time. Start strong. Those that do public speaking find that when they start strong they get into a groove. It's the same with most social environments. When you're out there, starting strong, you're more likely to get comfortable fast. Talk to Anyone You're Comfortable With You may not be comfortable in social situations yet, but you probably encounter people speaking to you regularly. Make sure you're always talking back. Daily shedding of upto 100 hairs is normal" excessive hair fall can be due to male pattern baldness, physical or mental stress, anaemia or nutritional deficiency or certain medical conditions like thyroid disorders, low serum ferritin etc. Take a nutritious and protein rich diet (pulses, milk products, eggs). Avoid routine application of gels or frequent blow drying of your hair. Use a sulfate free shampoo for your hair twice a week. Biotin containing hair supplements can be taken for 3-6 months. Ketokonazole based shampoo can be used for treating dandruff.

Thanks for the query. Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism. It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important. Eat meals at frequent intervals. Eat a mid meal between each main meal. Avoid junk foods. Include dairy, eggs, nuts, fruits in your meals. Avoid alcohol and smoking. Exercise at least thrice a week. Even if you were to take medicines or supplements they will not work in isolation You need to have a calorie and nutrient dense meal.

Sir, I am a bit not much healthy person could you please give a chart to reduce my weight in indian style. I go daily to walking. Is fast walking better or slow running. Please give me a detailed advice.

Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. Some tips 1) drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take of your total as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. For more detailed and personal advice ask me privately.

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1.arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4.lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.
