Even one minute of unprotected intercourse is sufficient to spread hiv. Get elisa for hiv done. Repeat after3 months of exposure. If it is negative, congratulations, you are free from hiv infection.

Sine you are no reactive even after 6 months of exposure it is very less likely that you have any hiv infection. Still for a confirmation you may go for western blot or pcr.

If your ovarian reserve is very less, ( as indicated by antral follicle count on sonographyand AMH levels) its better to go ahead with IVF and not waste time and whatever 1-2 follicles available. Else u might lose ur chance of own ovum retrieval and may have to go for donor egg. Hypothyroidism if controlled on 75 mcg is not a very big issue, but ovarian reserve is.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. This could be a typical condition. If your sexual partner is always dry, then there must be a problem. I suggest you to consult a gynecologist and get a lubricant gel to use while having sexual intercourse. In case of her non-arousing problem, you should speak to her and get a sex counseling. Take care.

You are not getting your periods. I advise you to take proper balanced vegetarian diet. Take fruits and vegetables in daily diet. Take lots of water daily to detoxify body. Do meditation for mental strength daily. Avoid non veg and eggs and garlic and red chilly at home. Keep your weight normal as compared to your height. You can take Tablet Meprate 10 mg two times daily before meals for 5 days. Periods will start 7 to 10 days after stopping medicines.

The medicine depends on the age of pregnancy. In first 3 months, we try to avoid drugs, unless absolutely necessary. You can try gargle, lozenges etc. After 3 months, we can safely use number of drugs. But remember, any fever in pregnancy can affect the fetus in adverse manner.

Will my husband find out that I am not a virgin?

Advanced Aesthetics
Ayurveda, Gulbarga
Will my husband find out that I am not a virgin?
I have had sex before marriage and I am now getting married to another man. Will he that I am not a virgin? Is there a way to get my hymen repaired?

Being a virgin is a very relative term. While for some it may mean having penetrative sex (which would entail the hymen being torn) and for others it might be when you have been physically intimate with another man, even without having sex. Whatever the criteria, know that your husband may never know if you have had sex before — unless of course, you tell him.
This is because a woman’s hymen is a very delicate tissue that covers the opening of the vagina. While for some women it completely covers the opening of the mouth of the vagina, in some it may partially cover it and in others it may be absent. Apart from that, the hymen may also tear due to activities like running, swimming, cycling, certain stretching exercises and in some cases, even walking fast. You may also like to read about virginity tests for women– are they accurate?

Also, if you bleeding the first time you have sex is his indicator of your virginity, know that it is not necessary that it’ll happen with everyone. Some women don’t bleed. You may also like to read — do all virgins bleed the first time they have sex?

So, do not worry on that front.

As for the hymen repair options. There is a procedure where a surgeon can stitch a hymen back in place over our vagina. Known as a hymenoplasty, this procedure takes a day to perform and you will need a significant amount of time to recover.

at 5 weeks reading is on higher side but it is good for you and for stability of pregnancy diet during 1st 3 months should be guarded to avoid vomitings ( may be it is way of nature to avoid masalas in a pregnant woman with a developing baby. who knows about excess and toxicity of otherwise safe products) take simple proteins like diluted milk ,some nuts and simple daal-roti-chawal with less fats and spices eat digestible fruits and vegetables which do not cause distention. take simple walks as exercise medicines to control nausea and vomting are given only if need be. do share with us if you have any such symptoms.

U probably have a gynecomastia which usually begins around teen age and may reduce on its own with time. However it has nothing to do with cancer and is of absolutely no worry from this point of view.

Most women usually have a period every 28 days between starting their period and menopause. However, a healthy menstrual cycle can range from every 21 to 35 days. If your period doesn’t fall within these ranges, it could be because of one of these reasons. Stress Stress can throw off your hormones, change your daily routine, and even affect the part of your brain responsible for regulating your period — your hypothalamus. Over time, stress can lead to illness or sudden weight gain or loss, all of which can impact your cycle. If you think stress might be throwing off your period, try practicing relaxation techniques and making lifestyle changes. Adding more exercise to your regimen may help get you back on track. Low Body Weight Women with eating disorders, such as anorexia or bulimia, may experience missed periods. Weighing 10 percent below what’s considered a normal range for your height can change the way your body functions and stop ovulation. Getting treatment for your eating disorder and putting on weight in a healthy way can return your cycle to normal. Did You Know? A healthy menstrual cycle can range from 21-35 days. Obesity Just as low body weight can cause hormonal changes, so can being overweight. Your doctor will recommend a diet and exercise plan if they determine that obesity is a factor in your late or missed periods. Advertisement Polycystic Ovary Symptom (PCOS) PCOS is a condition that causes the body to produce more of the male hormone, androgen. Cysts form on the ovaries as a result of this hormone imbalance. This can make ovulation irregular or stop it altogether. Other hormones, such as insulin, can also get out of balance, due to insulin resistance, which is associated with PCOS. Treatment of PCOS focuses on relieving symptoms. Your doctor may prescribe birth control or other medication to help regulate your cycle. Birth Control You may experience a change in your cycle when you go on or off birth control. Birth control pills contain the hormones estrogen and progestin, which prevent the ovaries from releasing eggs. It can take up to six months for your cycle to become consistent again after stopping the pill. Other types of contraceptives that are implanted or injected can cause missed periods as well. Chronic Diseases Chronic diseases such as diabetes and celiac disease also can affect your menstrual cycle. Changes in blood sugar are linked to hormonal changes, so while rare, poorly controlled diabetes could cause your period to be irregular. Celiac disease causes inflammation that can lead to damage in the small intestine, which may prevent your body from absorbing key nutrients. This can cause late or missed periods. Advertisement Early Menopause Most women begin menopause between ages 45 to 55. Women who develop symptoms around age 40 or earlier are considered to have early menopause. This means your egg supply is winding down, and the result will be missed periods and eventually the end of menstruation. Thyroid Issues An overactive or underactive thyroid gland could also be the cause of late or missed periods. The thyroid regulates your body’s metabolism, so hormone levels can be affected as well. Thyroid issues can usually be treated with medication. After treatment, your period will likely return to normal.        if still you want some of details and want to discuss your problem so contact me. Regards

I have severe cramps during my periods starting from one day before period starts till after bleeding stops on 3rd or 4th day. I am 30 years old and married for last 10 years. I do not have children and have decided to remain childless. We currently use condoms as contraception. I visited a gynecologist who clearly said that I have primary dysmenorrhea and there is no cure except for painkillers. He also suggested me to have child to get rid of period pain permanently. I have been thinking about using oral contraceptives hoping that it may reduce pain or if I continue taking oral contraceptives without break, I may avoid having periods. Am I thinking correctly. Kindly suggest what oral contraceptive (name & chemical composition please) would be suitable for me!

what you are suffering is Pre menstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhea. This occurs due to some hormonal factors and the dysmenorrhea could be spontaneous or due to some some fibroids, ovarian cysts or pelvic infections. There are many ways to cure dysmenorrhea, but taking pain killers is the cheapest and commonest way Yoga, mild exercises, accupressure, can also be used to reduce period pain For premenstrual syndrome you can take some tablets which are nutraceuticals and this can help your pain factor before menses, but these tablets have to be taken atleast 5 days before menses. Yes, Oral contraceptives can help you with relief from dysmenorrhea and PMS. So you can use them. Unfortunately, ONE CANNOT prescribe on a chat forum like this without a prior consultation in person. so if possible meet a Gynecologist and get examination done. It;s OKAY if one has to take painkillers for pain at each menses, THEY dont harm you so much. Pain killers ALWAYS have to be taken after a good meal But one must take anti acidity tablets too before consuming pain killers. If you paln to remain childless, then the unopposed estoigens can cause some problems like tumors in breast, or uterus ( fibroids) which are common in unmarried elderly patients
