Avoid combing hair with fine-toothed combs when wet. Although this is a tempting practice as hair straightens and de-tangles much easily if combed when wet, this is a common cause of breakage. The stress on the hair shaft is immense when the hair is wet resulting in weakened hair roots.

Many factors are involved in the process of hair loss like Tension or stress, chemical damage, nutritional deficiency, enviornmental factors, unadequate sleep or diet etc. A careful analysis of the person is required to initiate the treatment Greying is inevitable process but in this age it's not good sign. Follow the below written things and it will help you. From Home remedy part you can use following: Take 100 ml coconut oil boil 2-4 pcs of amla fruit n 8-10 curry leaves in that oil till fruit n leaves turn black. Filter and strain. Massage it on scalp with finger tips gently. Wash hair next morning with curd mixed with besan. In ready to use you can start using rishi grow hair oil at bed time & wash with robin plus herbal shampoo. Clean oil is recommended if dandruff is the reason as this oil treats it in just two applications along with reducing itching. Internal ayurvedic medicines can be provided after studying your bodily constitution as per ayurveda. This process should be continued for two months and your hair fall will reduce to normal. As it's a very slow process so you can't see results in a week. Eat more of green leafy vegies and fresh seasonal fruits. Take amla powder or amla murabba/ carrot murabba twice daily. Use neem wood comb for managing hair and this should be changed regularly. Reduce your stress by yoga, Pranayam and meditation. Add some coconut daily in your diet. Keep water in copper vessel overnight and drink in the morning empty stomach. Avoid chinese foods and food stuffs packed in plastics. Avoid white flour (maida), excessive salt and spices. Application of paste of buttermilk mixed with few curry leaves on the scalp for some time will help prevent greying. Let me know after it and I will advise accordingly.

Hair Transplant - Precautions You Must Take!

Hair Transplant - Precautions You Must Take!

Exposure to pollutants and UV radiation has made hair loss and premature balding much more common today than it was earlier. The good news is that this is not a condition that one needs to live with and one that can be easily treated with hair transplant procedures. This procedure involves harvesting hair follicles from one part of the scalp and transplanting them to bald or thinning spots. There are two types of hair transplant procedures; follicular unit extraction and follicular unit transplant. Here are a few precautions to be kept in mind when undergoing a hair transplant surgery

  1. Keep your head elevated: Transplanting hair follicles involve making tiny incisions in the scalp into which the hair follicles are inserted. This can cause swelling and inflammation. In order to relieve this swelling and not aggravate it further, the head should be kept elevated at all times. While sleeping, use two or more pillows to prop your head up or sleep in a reclining chair.
  2. Avoid sweating: Avoid going out in the sun or any sort of strenuous activity that causes sweating. This is because sweating can increase the risk of infections considerably. For this reason, patients must also avoid saunas and steam baths for a few weeks after the procedure.
  3. Avoid alcohol and spicy food: Alcohol affects blood circulation and hence can slow down the healing process of a hair transplant surgery. For this reason, alcohol should be avoided for at least a month after surgery. Spicy food can also interfere with the healing process and hence should be avoided as well. It can also cause the scalp to sweat and thereby increase the risk of infection.
  4. Do not touch your scalp: The scalp may feel itchy or sore after a hair transplant procedure. There may also be numbness or a tingling sensation. However, touching your scalp or picking the area will only worsen the condition. It can also affect the regrowth of new hair follicles in the harvest area. Instead use a spray prescribed by your doctor to stimulate hair growth.
  5. Ice packs: Ice packs can be used to relieve swelling and inflammation after a hair transplant. However, this ice pack should not be placed on the grafted area. Instead, place it on your forehead or on the back of your head.

Hair follicles can take up to 6 months to regrow. During this time, if you experience any severe bleeding, pain or infection, you must consult a doctor immediately.

As per Ayurveda, Pimples & Acne are mainly due to incorrect Daily routine & improper dietary habits generate toxins in the blood & skin which ultimately results in Pimples / Acne and other skin problems.
