I am giving you some tips to prevent constipation: 1. take 6-8 glass of water in a day 2.Regular Physical activity Keeping mobile and active will greatly reduce your risk of getting constipation. Ideally do at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week. 3.You should have about 30 g of fibre a day. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

According to your age & Ht ideal weight should be 55 kg , you need to lose almost 30 kg . Diet and exercises. Ayurvedic medicines are also helpful .You may be obese due to hypothyroidism.

I'm 17. I had unprotected sex on 24th August just next day my periods ended and I took an ipill within 3 hours. I had light period like bleeding dark in colour on 30th August which continued for 3 days. I've normal period cycle and I was suppose to get my periods on 18th Sept and still not had them. Are there any chances of pregnancy? Should I take urine pregnancy test? When, and are these test accurate? Do they give false results? I am worried. Please guide me.

Hello- The delay in periods are not due to pregnancy, its due to I pill. The pill contains loads of hormones which disturbs the normal body cycle and hence can result in delayed or irregular menses. Nothing to worry, the period should arrive within a weeks time.

Dear lybrate-user, egg is released usually between 24-48 hours after the injection. We cannot know on ultrasound about egg fetilization. The earliest way to know about pregnancy is to go for a blood test after 12 d of ovulation.

Reading Can Change Your Life!
When was the last time you sat down and read a book from start to finish? Does your daily reading center around Facebook updates or the back of a cereal box? If you haven’t picked up a good book in a while you should! I just recently started reading again for fun and to my surprise there are quite a few benefits to daily reading.

1. Mental Stimulation

Just like we have to exercise the body, we also have to exercise the brain. Reading helps to keep the brain stimulated which can slow the progress of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Doing puzzles and playing games like chess can be just as helpful as reading.

2. Relieve Stress

Reading is a huge stress reliever. A well-written book can sweep you away into another realm, which will allow your tensions to slip away so you can finally relax.

3. Gain Knowledge

Everything you read fills your head up with more knowledge. You never know what you might come in handy. The more you read the more knowledge you will have to tackle future challenges. The best part is no one can ever take knowledge away from you!

4. Memory and mood

I recently finished the book Wicked, by Gregory Maguire, and there was a lot to remember! Each chapter had new characters, towns, and events to follow. Reading will help improve your memory and every new memory you create forges new brain pathways, which strengthens existing ones. This will help assist your short-term memory and stabilize your mood.

5. Stay Focused

Every day we are pulled in a million different directions. The Internet certainly doesn’t help. I find myself working on schoolwork, checking my email, updating my Facebook, and listening to music all at the same time, while getting distracted by ads in my internet browser. Reading can help improve your focus and concentration. When you read a book, all of your attention is focused on what you are reading. Try reading for 15-20 minutes before work and see if you feel more focused throughout the day.

6. Writing

Having more exposure to well written books can improve your writing skills as well. In the same way we learn by watching others we can learn from reading a good book.

7. Free and Fun!

It’s free! Visit your local library or thrift store to find some good books to read. Libraries rotate their stock so you won’t run out of books to read. There are also many sites that will let you download free e-books. So there isn’t any reason not to start reading for fun!

Do hot fomentation twice daily. Postural correction- always sit with a small pillow at your low back. Sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises like bridging and bhujang asana x twice daily. Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees or on your sides with a pillow between your knees. And get vit d levels checked. Go for regular walks follow 30-30 rule when at work. After every 30 min of work. Do 30 sec of stretching or stand and walk a bit.

as per your concern i would suggest you to have following remedy Take one table spoon of untamed rose hips, add a pair of glasses of boiling water, boil it for ten minutes and let it sit for 2-3 hours. Take 1/4 - 1/2 of the extract 3-4 times each day with honey. Mix one a part of fresh raw juice with one part of honey. Take 1/4 glass of the combination three times on a daily basis. this is very helpful, if it dosent work then you must consult ayurvedic doctor.

Pimple never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Hello. As her doctor has already advised her knee replacement surgery, it means much pathology has been established! We cannot reverse that damage or the pathology back but still can advise her for homoeopathic medicines to relieve her sufferings! Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15min., 2-3 times a day is mandatory.
