Hello, Diabetes is a metabolic problem which can lead to other minor/major complications. You have not mentioned your cholesterol values so that I can recommend you to visit a physician who can prescribe you cholesterol lowering medicines. Ideally unless the values, are really high it can be really managed well without medications. All you need to correct is your lifestyle and eating habits.

* Don't scratch or pinch your pimples. This will cause more damage and scars. . * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy .Homoeopathy has good treatment without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment.. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning. Hysterectomy - Tips to Help You Recover Fast!

Hysterectomy - Tips to Help You Recover Fast!

The surgical procedure that is used for uterus removal of a female patient is known as a hysterectomy. From uterine fibroids to cancer in the uterus, there may be a variety of reasons for carrying out this procedure. Here is everything you need to know about the procedure and recovery.

Causes: There are a number of reasons for which one may have to undergo a hysterectomy. If uterine fibroids and other kinds of growth are causing severe pelvic pain and bleeding, then it may be required. This also applied to particularly painful endometriosis. Abnormal vaginal bleeding as well as severe and chronic pelvic pain, are enough of reasons by themselves for going in for this kind of surgery to remove the uterus. Also, when the uterus slides away from its normal position and slips into the vaginal canal, this signifies a condition known as Uterine Prolapse, which will also require treatment in the form of a hysterectomy. Andenomyosis is another reason why this surgery may be required, as this condition results in the thickening of the organ. Finally, if the patient is suffering from cervical or ovarian cancer, then the doctor may recommend this surgery to remove the uterus in case the tumour found has been tested as malignant.

Technique: There are various techniques that may be followed in the course of this surgery, depending on the location, the size and the severity of the condition and the growth that is associated with it.

  1. Open Surgery Hysterectomy: This involves an incision of six to seven inches, in the belly of the patient so as to act on the abdominal region. After recovery, there will be a visible scar on the stomach of the patient.
  2. MIP Hysterectomy: The various approaches for this technique include vaginal hysterectomy, laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic assisted vaginal hysterectomy, and robot assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy.

Risks: While this is mostly known as a low risk procedure, there may be various risks after the surgery including urinary incontinence, vaginal prolapse, formation of fistula where an abnormal link may form between the bladder and the vagina and finally, persistent pain. Infection, haemorrhage and blood clots may also happen in extreme cases.

Recovery: The female patient will automatically start menopause once this uterus removal procedure has been carried out. Usually, the doctor will ask you to refrain from lifting heavy weights for a few weeks after the surgery and also, to abstain from sex for a while. Most female patients reported complete cure of the problem following this surgery. Also, it is not common to find too many side effects after the surgery.

Tips

  1. Walking after a month.
  2. Simple streching exercises after a month.
  3. Plenty of fruits and vegetables in diet.
  4. Water intake around 6 to 7 glasses.
  5. Calcium supplements. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Gynaecologist.

1. Include foods in your diet, which are replete in vitamins like Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin A and Vitamin C. Also incorporate proteins; eating the right foods can help you get the hair you always wanted. 2. Indulging yourself in regular exercises is also crucial in order to maintain good and healthy hair. 3. Using vitamin E capsules and hair revitalizers occasionally can enhance your hair growth. 4. Avoid using hair dryers as they may damage your hair if used from a close proximity.

I am 27 years old. I want to know is precum same as ejaculation. Because whenever I erected after some time me penis oozes some colorless liquid. I want to know how can I control it. Is it a disease or normal?

Precum is a natural secretion which is produced by accesory glands of male which lubricate the urethra and also help in coitus You must be knowing that the urethra ( tube ) of the penis which transfers urine and semen from inside to outside. while urine is liquid, semen is thicker and it will not flow through the same tube unless the tube is lubricated This is the work of this precum. so dont get any wrong ideas about precum. As a young person, you might be sexually stimulated at many times in a day where the body anticipates a sexual act to happen, and if you are getting aroused ( erect ) then this precum will flow..... So precum is NOT abnormal While passing motions also when the person exerts pressure, the blood flow is increased in the penis and this can cause a erection. and in anticipation the precum may be secreted, which can fall ...this too is normal Many illiterate people consider this as "semen" and unnecessarily get anxious and nervous about it. They call it "DHAT" and it is NOT DHATU ( SEMEN ) So do not worry

There is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis, But treatment can help reduce inflammation in the joints, relieve pain, prevent or slow joint damage, reduce disability and enable you to live as active a life as possible. Early treatment and support – including lifestyle changes, medication, supportive treatments and surgery – can reduce the risk of joint damage and limit the impact of the condition.

Dear lybrate-user. Alcohol is poison and it is absorbed by liver. Then liver dismantles the alcohol and poisons itself. There is no safe limit. Every drop of alcohol is bad for liver. Please restrain from alcohol drinking. Take care.

Sex - 3 Ways It Impacts Relationship

Sex - 3 Ways It Impacts Relationship

Modern lifestyle generally motivates you to be conscious of your health and external obstacles to attain a fit body. But like many other problems that are not quite evident, lack of sex in your relationship may look like a trivial matter in the beginning, but can become a bigger emotional and psychological problem for you and your partner. Here are several ways in which lack of sex can lead to trouble in your relationship, and in the long run affect your mental and psychological health.

  1. Resentment as a primary factor: It has been widely accepted that resentment towards your partner is one of the primary reasons for the lack of sex in your relationship. However, you cannot ignore the fact that in most cases, lack of sex, which is not due to resentment, leads to resentment and misunderstandings, making it a serious issue. This will indeed induce great stress in you, affecting the way you treat your partner even outside the bedroom.
  2. Harm caused by resultant depression: Lack of sex in a relationship often goes a long way in widening the emotional gap between you and your partner. It results into simmering resentment or quarrels. The feeling of rejection has been known to induce severe clinical depression, which can seriously affect the relationship.
  3. Stress which you can't cope with: Doctors all over the world agree that sex is a great stress buster. The release of chemicals like endorphin or oxytocin inside the body induces relief and a feel-good mood, which reduces anxiety of daily life goals. When you stop having sex, the stress increases, which at some point of time or the other will lead to misunderstandings and problems in the relationship and emotional strain.

Overall, lack of sex leads to insecurity in the relationship and builds up mistrust, which in turn affects your and your partner's personal health. So, sitting down and discussing how to address this issue might be a good idea if you notice the lack of passion in your relationship.

Hi, I have a 19 month old daughter. She is always throwing tantrums and gets upset over small things. She cries a lot when we don't give her whatever she desires and eventually has her way. I don't want to spoil her and need help to understand her psychology and control her behavior.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd
Psychologist, Bangalore
This is the terrible twos. The child was once the center of the world and has to now adjust to the fact that you are going to have to meet some of your own needs before hers. She will not be able to take it for some time. You need to set boundaries and let the child know that she will not be neglected but she must develop a little patience. She will throw tantrums to force the attention from you and she will try to control you too. Help her tide over this phase without rejecting her. For example, you can tell her to stop crying when she wants something until you are available or finished doing whatever you are doing. She can cry a little but do not allow her to whine or holler for too long. She will also learn anger management at a child level with these types of behaviors. Don?t ever deprive her of love. As this process unfolds, she will develop good self-control and will be a fabulous child as time flies by. Later on you will also find it easy with her for this worthwhile investment. It may last for a year maximum, if handled well.
