It looks that you have allergic eyes. First, try to find out, the allergen, take cetrizine 10mg for 5 days and also put antiallergic drops 2 drops both eyes.

Dear........you may be have eye flu. Now seasons of viral infections.clean your eyes with cold fresh water.if fever occurs you can take tab. Paracetamol 500 mg twice a day. pl. Go for Tests.eye testing,.mp,cbc.urine r/m,ns1,blood c/s. Never take asprin medicines. feel cold then cover body with warm cloths, avoid dust area, clean body, change cloths daily, change bed sheet daily, avoid stress.avoid non-veg.,avoid alcohol intake if smokes avoid also that. Cold sponging if get high fever. drink warm water, juice,green veg. Soups,lquid diets, dalia, take protein diets, tulsi leaf in tea or warm water, geloy juice, avoid cold area,cold things .i.e. ice creams, fast/junk foods, chinese foods,spicy foods, fat meal, take bed rest , You can also take tab. Tamiflu from govt. Hospitals.

Eye redness is most often due to swollen or dilated blood vessels. This makes the surface of the eye look red. There are many causes of a red eye or eyes like infection, allergy. Foreign body in eyes. Some are medical emergencies and some are a cause for concern, but not an emergency. Others are nothing to worry about. Consult your local eye specilist to see what is the cause

My eyes were grayed in outer circle of Black (pupil) when I was suffering from jaundice , I consulted to Eye specialist but they said its not harmful because its happened due to lake of body harmons during the decease , My eye side is perfect but have some suspect that if it will not harm me in future.

Hello , your doctor rightly said that sometimes jaundice can affect your eye with a change on colour of white of eye. Moreover sometimes a person can see variations in color if the jaindice is too high. But both of them are harmless conditions and improve on their own once ur levels cm down. No need to worry about your vision n eyesight.

Well this is a common occurrence in patients with thyroid. Regular eye checkup is mandatory. Also one has to understand that smoking in particularly can worsen the eye problems. Also keep your thyroid levels under check.

Sir, Anybody using computers / phones need a 5min break for every half hour to prevent dryness / you may wash your face frequently / cold water fermentation / will help / if symptoms are not relieved add eye drops hourly ? titrate according to comfort levels

Prolonged working on laptop/tv/mobile can cause computer vision syndrome. Computer vision syndrome is a condition resulting from focusing the eyes on a computer or other display device for, uninterrupted periods of time. Some symptoms of cvs include a. Headaches b blurred vision c. Neck pain d redness in the eyes e. Eye strain f dry eyes these symptoms can be further aggravated by improper lighting conditions. Measures to reduce this include 1. Work under proper light. 2. Blink a lot. 3. Cold compresses 4. Use good lubricating eyedrop.

To remain healthy and Fit ,you should follow 3 steps in your life 1.BALANCED DIET 2.EARLY MORNING BRISK MORNING WALK for 30 minutes and 10 minutes evening walk after Dinner 3.DRINK 6-8 Glasse of water daily. As 60% of our body is made of water, it acts as a carrier of essential nutrients inside our body. Loosing as little as 5% of body's weight as water can cause headache, fatigue and lower your muscle strength. To stay healthy, an adult should drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday. Balanced Diet= 60% Carbohydrates + 20% Fats + 20% Proteins 1. Carbohydrates: Our main source of energy. Stored in liver and muscles. Carbohydrates are used the most by our body duringexercise. Hence, it is important for people who exercise regularly to consume a diet rich in carbohydrates. (a) Instant/rapid carbohydrates energy sources: Banana, Milk, Sweets, Sugarcane juice. (b) Slow carbohydrates energy sources: Beans, Bread, Cereals, Potato, Pulses, Rice. 2. Proteins: Essential for growth, repair of muscle, skin, hair and body tissues. Protein deficiency leads to low immunity, hairfall, feeling of tiredness. Proteins are not stored in our body as any excess protein is converted to energy or fat. Hence, a person requires protein intake every day. When the body does not get enough carbohydrates to fuel itself, it falls back on protein bank. BRAMARI PRANAYAM or Bee Breath 1.Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing. 2.Place your thumbs in your ears, your index fingers above your eyebrows, and your remaining along the sides of your nose. Keep each pinky finger near a nostril. 3.Breath in deeply through the nose. First, feel the diaphragm move down, allowing the lungs to expand and forcing the abdomen out; then feel your chest expand with your collar bones rising last. .4.Use your pinkies to partially close each nostril. Keep your lungs filled. .5.Breathe out through the nose while humming. Note that the humming sound should originate in your throat, not as a result of your partially-blocked nostrils. 6.Repeat twenty times.starting from 5 times In Nut-Shell,THINK GOOD,EAT GOOD,SLEEP GOOD andby adopting these 3 point in your life you will remain fit as ever.

I have computer visual syndrome. It started 1 and half years back and consult a doctor after 1 year. The power I have is 0.7 which is my starting power. I do feel that the eye becoming dry while using mobiles and laptops. This problem happens because I started over usage of my mobile when I was in college. I am not comfort using glass or contact lens. Is there any possibility to return my eye power.

No your number remains the same Unfortunately there are no natural medications to remove spectacles permanently. You can either try contact lenses or plan for refractive lasik laser surgery Instructions for computer use: Take frequent breaks while you are working Every 20-25 mins take break to look away from screen Blink more frequently' Level of screen should be below the level of eyes Ac should not blow directly on your face. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle power Here are the instructions for mobile phone use: 1. Blink, blink and blink again. Blinking often (and for more than a second) keeps your eyes moist and reduces dryness and irritation. We tend blink about a third less than we normally would when we stare at our smartphone screens, which starves our poor peepers of protective tears. Keep your eyes wet by blinking about 10 times every 20 minutes or so and you should be good to go. 2. Minimize glare. Unless you have a smartphone equipped with anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass or use a matte screen protector film, you’re probably coping with a fair amount of annoying reflective glare. 3. Take breaks. Follow 20-20-20 rule. The concept is to take a break from looking at your screen every 20 minutes for 20 seconds while looking at something 20 feet away. Doing so relaxes your eye muscles 4. Adjust your brightness. Having your screen too bright or too dark stresses your eyes out and can cause problems maintaining focus. To eliminate either issue in about a matter of seconds, simply go into your smartphone settings and adjust your screen brightness so it’s about the same as the light level in the environment around you 5. Tweak your text size and contrast. Adjusting your smartphone text contrast and size also provides a little much-needed relief. 6. Keep a clean screen. Routinely wipe down your smartphone screen with a dry (not wet!) cleaning cloth to remove distracting dust, grime, smudges and fingerprints. 7. Hold your smartphone farther away. Try holding yours at least 16 to 18 inches away from your eyes to give your eyes a break.

Dear lybrate-user. You can use goggles when in sunlight. Cold compresses (soak cotton in cold water and put it over your eyes) will help a lot and use lubricating eyedrop.

How to decrease the power of my spectacles?
Get your refraction done and wear spectacles eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These r few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which wd increases your eyesight.

I have developed eye floaters in both my eyes. I use one day disposable lens. Its approx -11 in my right and -12.5 in my left eye Have also gone through retinal checkup. According to the doctors my retina is fine But at night I see some spots and even when I yawn there is slight lights coming in the corner of my both the eyes. I actually want to get rid of al this! Hi lybrate-user. You had injury over left eye orbital space. According to anatomy this used empty space where fluid or blood accumulates very easily. So we got swelling and redness with tenderness over this area. It requires large time to resolve such damage. You had black mark which is remain purpura that is (bleeding beneath skin) mark. You can go with ayurveda use yashtimadhu churna mix with milk and apply over affected area. Take haridra khanda daily morning with milk.

I am 36 year old female having ear pain and sore throat from last week. I took home medicine but no effect. From yesterday my left eye turned red and water started coming out of it. I used ITone drops and slept. In morning when I woke up it was hard to open the eye, it was pasted with to green mucous. I am also have sore throat till ear. Please suggest whom shall I see. U probably have an infection likely viral which has involved your throat, ear and eyes. You can start with warm water gargle or butadiene gargles for your throat. And an antibiotic 4-6 times daily for your eyes. It is always better to be evaluated by a doctor. You will need to see both ent n eye specialists.

I am a 31 years old male and have double vision for last 1 month. I was wearing glasses, when I was in std. V of - 7.5 for both eye with no axis. I have using the - 7.5 power for last 20 years. For the last one month I have facing double vision means, when I saw an object or light, then another light or object appears, at the side of the original object. After this problem, I have consult a doctor of vasan eye care, visakhapatnam and he checked my eyes and prescribed to wear - 8 glasses for both eye with no axis. After that I have changed my glasses, but still the problem is not solved. When driving my bike, I face more problems. What should I do?

High myopia can give rise to diplopia because of high astigmatism , which is not present in your case. It can also occur due to shift in axis of action of muscles because of enlarging globe. It can be corrected using special glasses, kindly consult a squint specialist ophthalmologist.
