Sir my teath is yellow colour please kuch dawai bataye teath ko white karne ke liye.
Tooth staining occurs due to oil and turmeric content of food. To prevent staining make a habit of doing gargles everytime you eat something, also do brush regularly (once in the morning before meals and once at night after dinner, add a mouthwash for better oral hygiene. This will keep your teeth shining and whiter always if the problem persist, you need to consult a dentist for more specific diagnosis and treatment would be tailored accordingly.

Brushing technique
Brush your teeth gently with little toothpaste (pea size toothpaste enough). Hard brushing abrades the protective layer of tooth (enamel). Tooth abrasion leads to decay and sensitivity in tooth.

Hi I have bad breathing problem. Please suggest me something. Sometimes I wash my mouth with mouthwash but still issue is there? Do I need to clean tongue daily, which I started recently.

•Eat a healthy, balanced diet and avoid eating strongly flavoured or spicy food. •Cut down on sugary food and drink, as it can increase the amount of bacteria in your mouth. •Reduce your alcohol consumption. •Stop smoking. •Cut down on coffee. •Drink plenty of water to help prevent your mouth becoming dry. •Chew sugar-free gum after eating, to stimulate the flow of saliva. This will help clean away any remaining food particles. •Don't use toothpaste to clean your dentures, as it can scratch the surface and cause stains. •Clean your dentures thoroughly using soap and lukewarm water, denture cream or a denture-cleaning tablet. •Use a separate toothbrush to clean your dentures. •Make sure you visit your dentist for regular check-ups. Having regular dental check-ups will ensure that any plaque is removed from your teeth, particularly in areas that are difficult to reach. •Your dentist can recommend the best way to clean your teeth and gums, and point out areas you might be missing. They can also identify any signs of gum disease and ensure early treatment. •Gastritis, lung & sinus infection may also be the cause of bad smell in the mouth. 90% of bad breath is due to a dirty tongue. •If your bad breath is caused by a gastrointestinal problem, such as an H. Pylori infection or gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD), you may be referred to a gastroenterologist. •Persistent bad breath or a bad taste in the mouth may be a warning sign of gum (periodontal) disease. Gum disease is caused by the buildup of plaque on teeth. •You may need deep cleaning & fill tooth cavities with artificial enamel filling. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash until then. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person.

If the tooth breaks, have the tooth contoured. Fill the crack in. Place a crown on your tooth. If the tooth has been badly damaged and the nerve or pulp is exposed, the dentist may have to perform a root canal to save the tooth. If the tooth has been severely damaged, it may have to be extracted.

I'm suffering from a disease. When early morning I wake up. Then when I wash my face with water and when I wash mouth then I get some what blood. What is the reason?

- use a soft toothbrush -- and brush properly! brush your teeth for at least two minutes twice a day and after meals. Hard brushing can further damage the soft tissues of your mouth. - floss at least once a day and be sure to floss beyond the gum line to remove more plaque. - control bleeding by applying pressure to the area with a cold compress. - rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide to keep the area clean. Avoid mouthwashes that contain alcohol, which can dry out your mouth. - stay away from smoking and other tobacco products, which can aggravate bleeding gums. - eat a balanced diet and limit snacking between meals. Carbohydrates and sugars feed dental plaque. - try an oral irrigation device, commonly known as a" water pick, to clear debris from around the gum line. - have your dentures aligned as needed. - you may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser.

Gingivitis is a mild form of gum disease which occurs because of the inflammation of the gums. It can easily be reversed with daily brushing and flossing and getting dental cleaning done regularly.

My wisdom teeth is coming and causing lot of pain please suggest me what can I do.

BDS
Dentist, Mohali
My wisdom teeth is coming and causing lot of pain please suggest me what can I do.
Wisdom teeth come till 21 years of age. If it doesn't come out or partially come out then they cause problems in chewing due to pain as there is inflammation of gums surrounding the wisdom teeth. If there is no relief by mouthwashes and painkillers then they have to be removed either normally or surgically depending on the position of wisdom teeth in mouth. An x ray is usually required to have a look at position of roots in the bone surrounding the tooth. After diagnosing the problem dentist will give you appointment for removal of the tooth concerned. Dentist might prescribe you some antibiotics too depending upon the severity of infection.

Gap in between my front teeth suddenly created how to fix this problem I'm from chennai 23 year old.
At this age the gap between the front teeth is unlikely, the main reason for this can be localized periodontitis of these teeth. It need to be check properly with clinical and radiographic examination before treatment planning so I advice you to please visit your dentist.

My front tooth is half broken and is bonded by a dentist, but I always get afraid that if the bonded tooth breaks while in college or in some function. So is it better to go for tooth cap? I also read that there is a new research going on to regrow broken teeth using stem cells. Is it true? Will our country get this treatment in near future? Thank You.

If the bonding is done correctly and you do not use your front tooth to bite into things like apple and all there is no reason for worry at this stage you need not get a crown done, if the tooth would have been too weak the dentist who did your bonding would have suggested a crown/cap.
