At these age, the most common cause of lump in the breast is fibroadenoma which is a benign tumor. However you should get examined physically by a doctor and if necessary an fnac should be performed before jumping to any conclusion.

Good morning sir/madam I am suffering from dizziness when I stand after sitting. If I move my head suddenly, its make vertigo. Why this happen.

MS - ENT,MBBS
ENT Specialist, Kolkata
Vertigo is a medical term which describes a sense of rotation even while stationary. It can often be confused with lightheadedness, generalised weakness, dizziness. Vertigo may be caused by problems in your peripheral (Ear &balance mechanism inside ear known as the vestibular system) or central nervous system. A complete checkup is required to isolate the cause. Peripheral vestibular  system causing vertigo symptoms may need initial medications to stabilise followed by Vestibular Rehabilitation  exercises. A good quality  of life can be achieved if properly managed. Basic investigations: A Pure tone audiometry  and tympanometry  can detect any problem in the ear nerves and tympanic membrane pressure (both of which can be abnormal in case of ear diseases) An Xray of the Cervical Spine (AP /Lat/Lat-oblique to check for cervical spondylitis CT brain and a complete  haemogram  are some of the baseline tests needed for a good evaluation  of vertigo. A cause of vertigo often difficult to diagnose is BPPV Benign Paroxysmal  positional vertigo BPPV can be treated with Epleys manoeuvre  and Vestibular  Rehabilitation  exercises. With regular vestibular exercise you can be symptom free  and lead a normal life. *Tips for starting vestibular exercise: No. 1: Sit on your bed with legs hanging. Keep your head straight and just by moving your  pupils first look to the right. Hold this position. Count to 10. If you have dizziness  with right gaze still hold that gaze. Then move your pupil to the left. Do this for 10 minutes for two weeks. When you can move your pupil to either side without symptoms, you can start another exercise. All vestibular exercises are started after acute symptoms decrease with medicines. You can share your reports on Lybrate. Then I can help you better.

Feeling anxious about certain things, especially facts, is quite normal. It is usually the severity of anxiety and its management which decides whether it is a disorder or not. If you feel anxious every now and then, or to an extent that it becomes very distressing for you, or you feel unable to avoid thinking of issues you do not want to, you might need an assessment for anxiety disorder. Consult a psychiatrist for assessment and counselig.

I want my mother's denture made at home pritamnagar allahabad. Can anyone guide please.

I want my mother's denture made at home pritamnagar allahabad. Can anyone guide please.
Ask a nearby dentist if he can arrange a lab technician to make an impression of your mother's oral cavity. He can visit 2-3 times as a part of denture fabrication. Later when final denture will be fabricated the technician can fit it in her mouth. You have to arrange at least one visit to the dentist for evaluation of fitting of the denture. See if dentist himself can visit at home if your mother is unable to walk.

5 Nutritional Factors Of Almonds & Walnuts

5 Nutritional Factors Of Almonds & Walnuts

Whenever you peruse through snack options in a store, looking for a fulfilling yet healthy option often turns out to be really challenging. This is where you might consider nuts, such as almonds or walnuts. They are healthy snacking options with rich reserves of protein, fibre, and energy.
However, even in the choice between almonds and walnuts, there are certain things which need to be kept in mind.

  • Energy content: Almonds contain 14 grams worth of fat, and 164 calories whereas walnuts contain approximately 18 grams of fat but give 185 calories. Thus, we find that walnuts contain a slightly higher amount of fat than almonds, but provide more energy in the form of calories.
  • Protein content: Almonds and walnuts are both protein powerhouses - containing 13% and 9% of protein content respectively. Thus, both these nuts are great sources of protein.
  • Mineral content: Both almonds and walnuts are rich in various kinds of minerals. When it comes to Iron, which is essential for muscle health and blood formation, both nuts contain very similar amounts (approx 5%). Almonds pack 19% magnesium - essential for strong bones, compared to the 11% in walnuts. Walnuts, however, have very high amounts of copper (50%) and manganese (54%) which prove to be useful in reducing symptoms of PMS as compared to almonds.
  • Fibre content: Fiber, which plays a vital role in completing the process of digestion, is another component that these nuts pack healthy amounts of. Almonds contain 16% fiber whereas walnuts have 8%.
  • Vitamin content: While walnuts contain 12% Vitamin B6, compared to the 3% in almonds, the real point of difference between these two highly healthy nuts is in their content of Vitamin E - essential for healthy skin and eyes. Almonds contain almost 48% of it, whereas walnuts contain only about 2% of the same.

Thus, we get a fair idea about the high nutritional content for both these nuts. They are both essential, especially if they can be incorporated into our diets in the correct proportions. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dietitian-nutritionist.

It is natural to be anxious when you are writing an important exam so that you do well but excess anxiety can be counterproductive and hinder your learning and revision. If you are suffering from depression, then you will need to take psychiatric treatment and undergo psychological counselling as well to manage depression. Cognitive behaviour therapy is excellent for controlling rumination and negative thinking, anger management and any emotional disturbance. You can also look at alternate sciences to help you with depression because they don't have side effects. 1. You need to understand the source of your emotional upheaval and learn to either manage with it or cope with it so that you can concentrate on your studies. 3. Exercising regularly within your capacity is very important so that natural neuro are released in the brain and you will feel relax and calmer and more confident and motivated to do many things. You can run, walk, gym, dance, whatever you can and want to do. 4. Avoid all kind od processed and refined foods and replace with fresh fruit and vegetables for your nutrition. You need more of lean proteins, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin b12 and vitamin d3 for optimal brain functioning and emotional wellbeing. 5. Sleeping well for 6-8 hours every night is important for the brain to recoup from daily stress and body from physical stress. Please do bhramri and anulom vilom pranayama to help you sleep well every evening for 10 min each. Please give your exams only that much importance that is due to it because life is more than these exams and not everything in your life depends on them.
