Hi I am a b. Tech student I am having problem with my handwriting. I tried lot it gets little better for some time & again gets back to previous. What to do to improve it. Sometimes I feel little strain in wrist & thumb while writing.

Erasmus Mundus Master in Adapted Physical Activity, MPT, BPTh/BPT
Physiotherapist, Chennai
Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having wrist/thumb pain though there may not be any pathological reasons. It is due to over strain of the writing muscles and also due to lack of blood circulation. To reduce the pain & to make you feel comfortable Wrist Brace so that you will feel warm, comfortable and very protective . . If you keep ice that would help to reduce the pain and feel relaxed and comfortable. You shall also do hot water fermentation that would improve the blood circulation to the painful area and thereby the pain would be reduced.

Sir, when you have persistent pain in the knees like this which hinders your daily lifestyle I suggest you may be suffering with an arthritic issue. In such cases pain killers will give you only temporary relief. A perfect diagnosis can be made if you get an x-ray done. Once this is done we can work on the further course of management.

Your thigh muscles are getting strained due to overexertion. Follow these tips; 1. Be gradual in your exercise. Gradually increase your workout intensity. Give at least one day break in your exercise regimen. 2. Do leg muscle stretches before gym and apply cold pack after exercises. 3. Take adequate liquids during and after gym. 4. Take well balanced nutritious diet rich in Calcium and vitamin D. 5. Take analgesics like Paracetamol or Ibuprofen for 2 days to get relief. If problem persists consult again.

I am 21 years old male. In 2014 I met with an accident and cut my motor nerve and a tip of my bone got broke. They fixed it with screw. My question is after removing the screw should I get pain for longer time because by this time I didn't face any type of pain inside my leg.

MSPT (Master of Physical Therapy), Certified Yoga Trainer
Physiotherapist, Vadodara
Whether your screw will be remove dor not that is not sure it will depend upon the stability of your bone, so not to worry, and if it gets removed than little amount of pain for some time can happen.

I think you are suffering from spondylosis. You can have analgesics for few days. Avoid forward bending for 1 month for longer duration.
