Dear lybrate-user many people consider pimples or acne as simple problem. But most of them they end up I'm scars and big pores on the affected area in ayurveda we call it Mukha Dooshi which means disfiguring. Now what you have to do is change your life style, take plenty of fruits, buttermilk, vitamin rich food preferably zinc and vitamin E, do not scrub, prick the affected area. We have treatment but this should be under doctor supervision.

Do slow and deep breathing relaxation exercises in the morning. Take balanced diet and don't skip meals, keep your weight normal as per your height to get results.

I think application of medicated oil will help you a lot. Just 10 minutes before bath (if no time in morning, do when you get back from office, apply the oil to whole body and have a bath. If you get hot water then hot water bath is much better. The oil name is" arthritic oil" of" viswanath pharmacy" it cost about 300 rupee. The best thing it's not sticky and don't have fowl smell. I suggest it because it is the oil which gave me a better feedback from patients than other oils. If you can buy it its good, you will get better soon.

Mr Iqbal, Thanks for the query. Looking at your weight and height, you are having a BMI of 21.6 kgs/M2, which is marginally less. Your ideal body weight can be about 52 to 53 kgs. To increase weight first thing is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting closer to 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c%<6.8. If this is achieved, then proper nutrition and exercise will help in gaining weight. Thanks.

Hi! If you are slim then it is ok but if you are slim and weak then don't ignore. Eat eggs, nonvegetarian, milk and dry fruits like cashews and almonds Eat ghee based home prepared sweets Add cheese and paneer to your diet Drink water( 4 to 6 glasses) Join gym you can improve your fitness. Some people that have high metabolic rate they don't gain weight how much ever they eat. If you fit in to that category please don't worry But don't go for any weight gaining pills or tonics etc they are very dangerous in the long run. If you are healthy and free of diseases then be great full for that Don't worry about the rest

Avoid using your teeth for anything other than chewing food. If you use them to crack nuts, remove bottle tops or rip open packaging, you risk chipping or even breaking your teeth.

If he is on oral drugs better to shift on to insulin like injection basalog 6 units in the morning and c to be increased every alternate day by 2 units based on daily sugar levels. Increase the dosage till target level of sugar is achieved.

.if you are suffering from PCOD. More than 50 percent of women with PCOS will have diabetes or pre-diabetes (impaired glucose tolerance) before the age of 40. The risk of heart attack is 4 to 7 times higher in women with PCOS than women of the same age without PCOSSome women develop less common types of cysts that may not produce symptoms, but that a doctor may find during a pelvic exam. Cystic ovarian masses that develop after menopause may be cancerous (malignant). That's why it's important to have regular pelvic exams. Infrequent complications associated with ovarian cysts include: Ovarian torsion. Cysts that become large may cause the ovary to move out of its usual position in the pelvis. This increases the chance of painful twisting of your ovary, called ovarian torsion. Rupture. A cyst that ruptures may cause severe pain and lead to internal bleeding. Tips for maintaining a healthy weight with PCOS There is no specific diet that can prevent or treat PCOS. However, eating well and being active can help manage some of long term complications of PCOS. The good news is that losing anywhere from 5 to 10 percent of your body weight can help with weight-related health problems. The best eating plan if you have PCOS is one that helps you manage your weight and also lower the long term risks of diabetes and heart disease. This plan should be low in saturated fat and high in fibre. Start by making healthy food choices following Canada's Food Guide. Choose better fats: Too much saturated and trans fat in the diet can lead to weight gain, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Limit foods that contain saturated and trans fats. Instead of these bad fats, choose smaller amounts of healthy unsaturated fats, which are found in vegetable oils like canola and olive oil, avocado and nuts. Aim for a total of 30 to 45mL (2 to 3 Tbsp) of healthy fats each day. You can learn more about choosing healthy fats here. Increase fibre: Eating more fibre can help maintain blood sugar levels and lower your cholesterol. Plus, fibre helps make you feel full, so you tend to eat less. This can help with weight control. Aim for 21 to 25 grams per day. Here are some high fibre foods to try: Fruit – especially berries, pears, oranges, figs, kiwi Vegetables – especially peas, spinach, squash and broccoli Whole grains – such as oats, brown rice, whole wheat, quinoa, barley and buckwheat Legumes – such as lentils, chickpeas, soybeans and kidney beans Cereals made with wheat bran, psyllium or whole grain oats Nuts and seeds – such as almonds, flax, sunflower seeds Enjoy protein: Similar to fibre, protein also helps you feel full for longer, so you will eat less. This is a great way to help control your weight. Make sure that you have some protein at every meal and snack like chicken, turkey, beef or fish. Or, try vegetarian options such as legumes, soy or a quarter cup of nuts or seeds. Milk and low fat yogurt are also good sources of protein. Foods to limit: Some foods cause weight gain if you eat them often. Choose fewer foods that are high in sugar, salt, refined flour and fat such as: White rice, pasta or bread Baked goods Regular soda Candy and chocolate and Salty snacks

Hi lybrate-user, your weight and acne that has progressively gotten worse in the last 7 months. Before we treat the acne other hormonal problem should be ruled out. Hello,the causes of premature graying hair includes- "A hormonal imbalance, Hyperthyroidism and Hypothyroidism, malnutrition, pernicious anemia, nutritional deficiency, using electric dryers and concentrated hair dyes, as well as genetic disorders, chemotherapy and radiation, are all factors. Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Increase in weight is because of your sedentary lifestyle. Follow these steps: exercise for 30-40 mins daily. Cut down your daily calories. Avoid oily/sugary, packed processed food. Drink 3-4 ltrs of water daily. Sleep for 6-7 hours daily. Avoid stress.

Use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash daily use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.

Homeopathy medicine for frequent urination. I am diabetic since 3 years and my sugar levels are normal. I get more urination in the morning. Generally I take around 2 ltrs of water in the morning. But I go for urine upto in the evening around 8 times. Average I take around 3 1/2 ltrs in a day. During night I get urine only once. Pl suggest good medicine. I have also hypertension.

You take lot of water in the morning and have frequent urination. I find nothing abnormal in your case as far as frequent urination is concerned. If you take 8 to10 glasses of water per day.

You should go for brisk walk in the morning. Do exercise atleast 15 minutes. Take lukewarm water in the morning. Consumption of plenty of water be ensured. Take salad before meals. Take sprouts. Don't use table salt. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals. Avoid junk food.

From your description your are likely to have parotid swelling get a sonography done if not conclusive than take an oral surgeon's opinion. It is best to see an ent surgeon first.

I am 19 year old female. I got straightening therapy done last year. I have got some curls back, at the roots but not exactly my natural hair. Would you recommend if I get my hair straightened again, for a year or so? Some say that two kinds of chemicals will be used. Yes, they are right, you will need to rebond your hair. Half curly and half straight hair look very odd. Your natural hair will start growing and straight hair will keep coming down, you need to get rebounding done and straightening on the new hair (that the salon people will guide you).
