With the onset of winters, not only people experience lazy mornings but many also find themselves in low spirits or what we call “winter blues”.

Winter depression or seasonal affective disorder should not be confused with general laziness and oversleeping that comes with the onset of winters. Many people are diagnosed with seasonal affective disorder, it is a clinical disorder which occurs with the change in season, specially during winters. It is a sub type of depression. Peole experimce mood chnages and symptkms similar to depression with during the winter season and improves with the arrival of spring and summer season.

Symptoms of s. A. D 

If the symptoms have been occuring with the onset at the specific time of winters for the last two years without any other associative incident.

1. Loss of apetite/ increase in apetite
2. Crying spells
3. Loss of interest in routine activities 
4. Feeling low or sad.
5. Sleeping more than usual.

Treatment

It can be effectively treated with psychotherapy, light therapy and/or medications. While symptoms improve with change in season but treatment could help the person get relief from depressive symptoms quickly. People should either try to expose themselves to sun whenever possible in winters. Stay connected to your environment and people. Talk about your symptoms with a psychologist. It is a manageable condition and treatment would help you enjoy the winters.

Delay can be due to hormonal imbalance and stress and we can plan for tablet primolutN after clinical examination for initiation of withdrawal bleeding

Bananas are full of calories and contain high amount of carbohydrates and potassium that give you instant energy. Whosoever want to gain weight must eat a banana daily in the morning with a glass of warm milk. Add a teaspoon of sugar in it. Moreover, you can also have it after your meals.

How I can manage high bp and anxiety naturally? I am just 29 having bp problem due to anxiety from last 2 years, and also Left chest pain, during ECG test found first degree block and heart is getting thick, doctor as said no problem but go with bp tablet but am still unmarried so I have not agreed because some one has said once ill take bp tablet I have to be take for life long, sir please give me a suggestion how to control bp and maintain healthy heart.

Madam if your resting BP is high that is more than 140/90mmHg, you need lifestyle changes like daily 30 minutes brisk walk and low salt intake. If still after one month of this your BP is on bigger side you are having essential hypertension for which you need medications. If you will not take medicines just because of your false belief it will cause bad effects to your eyes, brain,blood Vessel's, Heart and kidneys. I personally suggest you this. Regards.

Dear, your problem is not depression, but anxiety related to smoking cessation. Anxiety disorders are a category of mental disorders characterized by feelings of anxiety and fear, where anxiety is a worry about future events and fear is a reaction to current events. These feelings may cause physical symptoms, such as a racing heart and shakiness. There are a number of anxiety disorders: including generalized anxiety disorder, a specific phobia, social anxiety disorder, separation anxiety disorder, agoraphobia, and panic disorder among others. While each has its own characteristics and symptoms, they all include symptoms of anxiety. Hello Mr. Lybrate-user, your age is not to suffer from back pain really. - your weight is also low compared to height and age. - 1st thing to do is to increase your weight by taking nutritious food - have amalaki rasayana 1spoon daily twice before food with milk - coming to back pain need to see it's related to muscles or bone - so apply ksheerabala taila daily before bath to your back that will strengthen both your muscles and bones - have sprouts in the morning compulsory. I have back pain from past 2 weeks. I had a pain killers but no use. Kindly suggest me some good tips.
Back pain is 'Apaan Vayu' vitiation as per Ayurveda and have been successfully relieved hundreds of times, without using pain killers tablets. In order to get sustainable relief postural stature of body, correct bed as per suitability, some foods to avoid vitiation of VATA and some herbals should be used. It will be gradually treated without side effects. However if there's is any spondylosis, intervertebral gaps reduction due to any reason, which may be ascertained by X-ray etc, proper physiotherapy/ Yoga etc should be done. Use of warm water to drink, to bath are relaxants. Some herbal oils those relax muscles, may be used. 'Dashmoola' i.e. 10 roots of herbs' preparations are of immense use. Menses can get delayed by hormonal changes or stress or weight gain. Wait for another 15 days. As sticky or stretchy discharge is there means that menses r round the corner. If happened for the first time then no need of any tests or treatment. Thais sticky discharge is nothing but the cervical mucus which gets expelled just before the menses.

Hye. In the long run your body will start depositing unwanted fats. There is daily breakdown from within because the body is not getting any fuel to start the day. Your body is managing to survive the torture right now, but eventually it will start to give up and it will lead deficiency of nutrients further moving to obesity, diabetes, ulcer or cardiac problems.
