i am 50 yrs old female.Having irregular mensuration with missed periods some times.what should i take care?
Hello, it's very normal to get irregular or missed periods at your age as it is the menopausal age, your menses are going to get stopped gradually and slowly. So, don't worry, relax! medication: as such no need to take any medication, but I would suggest you to take this medicine as it contains calcium & iron - five phos. 6x/ thrice daily/ 1month. Take more of milk, milk products, green veggies, seasonal fruits, salads, etc.

I have consulted some doctors. They all said me that I have'lypoma. Does it have any cure ? It is absolutely painless.

MS - General Surgery

Treatment of lipoma is surgical removal. If multiple lipomas are there then you can go for excision of symptomatic i. E. Painful one, it will give you definitive diagnosis (biopsy) and symptomatic relief. There is no medical treatment for lipoma.

Hello, menorrhagia with clots is possible due to stress induced hormonal imbalance, so just wait and watch and maintain a menstrual calendar for next 3 months. if the menses are heavier, then you can opt for antifibrinolytics.

The pregnancy tests done nowadays are very sensitive. However I suggest just to re confirm that she is not pregnant you could do a blood test for serum b-hcg. If that's also negative then you should seek a gynaecologists advice to see if she has any other reason for not having periods.

Clitoris pain can result from damage or injury to any of the structures of the vulva (external genitalia), including the inner and outer labia, the vaginal opening, and the clitoris. The symptoms may be constant or variable and may improve or worsen with movement or sexual activity. Clitoris pain may be described as a raw sensation or a burning, itching or stinging feeling that ranges in intensity from mild to severe. Most probably in your case, pain perceived in the clitoris is referred pain that originates from injury, disease or infection elsewhere in the the pelvic region.Thatswhy she also feels intermittent pains in pelvic area. But I can only guess from here ,but correct diagnosis can only be made after physical examination and I will suggest you to immediately visit a gynaecologist so that a correct diagnosis is made and necessary treatment be given.

Best and easy way of detect pregnancy is urine pregnancy test (upt). We can not tell only for the symptom that you miss the pregnancy. For confirmation you have to do upt. Please do the upt after 10 days of your missed period.

I am 19 year old, female. I have ovarian cyst. What to do? Please help me.

MD - Internal Medicine, MBBS
Endocrinologist,
Treatment for PCOS is not curative. Treatment focuses on controlling symptoms and managing the condition to prevent complications. The treatment will vary from woman to woman, depending on specific symptoms. A healthy diet and regular exercise is recommended for all women with PCOS, particularly those who are overweight. This can help to regulate your menstrual cycle and lower your blood glucose levels. Women who don’t want to become pregnant may be prescribed birth control pills. These can help treat acne, regulate the menstrual cycle, and lower levels of male hormones, such as testosterone, in the body. If a woman with PCOS is suffering from infertility, fertility drugs may be administered to aid in ovulation. Anti-androgens are drugs that reduce male hormone levels. These can help stop excess hair growth and reduce acne. Diabetes medications may also be prescribed to lower blood glucose and testosterone levels. Surgery may be recommended for some women with PCOS. Ovarian drilling is a procedure in which your doctor punctures your ovary with a small needle that carries an electric current, in order to destroy part of the ovary. This is a short-term solution that can promote ovulation and reduce male hormone levels.

In laparoscopy we can visualise tubes and as well as their relation to other structures and can do chromotubation then also and locate the block s simultaneously if any adhesions are there can be released. Can look for other problems also.

Hi doctor, I have 1 problem called pcos. I want to know how it will impact on married life since I am planning to get married? also I want to know what all complications will be there. Is there are any other disease that are related to this problem like ovarian cancer or diabetes? Dr. Put me on 6 months medication (tablet name: dronis30. So after medication I will be totally cured or I have to take any other treatment. Please reply. Thanks.

MBBS, MD Obs & Gynae, FNB Reproductive Medicine
Gynaecologist, Jalandhar
Dronis 30 is not given to cure the disease. It can only regularize your cycles. You can marry but there could be problem with ovulation which can be easily treated with ovulation-induction drugs. After marriage when you plan for pregnancy you may need little help. Patient with pcos are having more chances of developing diabetes, hypertension and uterine carcinoma. The bottomline is that one should undergo lifestyle modifications in the form of diet and excersise to maintain weight and keep disease under control.
