How can I remedy from yellowness of teeth inspite of taking brush twice. It really feels disgusting.

PERIODONTIST, B.D.S.
Dentist, Navi Mumbai
Hello lybrate-user, first thing I want you to ask, is that yellowness of your teeth is by birth? or it is developed with time. Secondly, what is intensity of yellowness? i. E. Mild, moderate or severe it very important to me because according your answer treatment will change. 1) if it is by birth and severe- you have to go for bleaching treatment or for laminate 2) if it is developed with time and not severe- you can go for professional cleaning and then regular maintenance of oral hygiene.

My 2 premolar is full of cavity I mean if 2 premolar would be extracted instead of 1 premolar is it possible.

BDS, MDS
Dentist, Gorakhpur
Yes it is possible and also by root canal treatment both tooth can be saved. It requires a radiograph and an expert oral medicine radiologist to interpret the condition. If loss of tooth structure is beyond its repair, it has to get extracted.

The right side of my mouth is swollen as my bottom wisdom tooth is poking out. This is my third wisdom tooth showing up. Since the area is pretty small and there is no place for the tooth to come out completely, it is pushing on the previous four teeth. The pain is a lot worse than when the previous two wisdom tooth had come, but I really don't want to take any painkillers as I avoid them at all costs. What are some natural ways to ease the pain and reduce the swelling? Thank you!

It's quite often that third molars do not have enough space to erupt in that case they r to b removed as its a process of evolution n these r called vestigial organs consult a maxillfacial surgeon if required it can b removed.

If d socket is healed properly den der should not be any leakage of fluids frm there. Go to a dentist again and he will check it thoroughly. May be d fluid can be your saliva. And saliva secretion is a normal process in mouth.

According to my dr, My mom need teeth replacement fir front side lower teeth, due to some problem. My dentist advised to do bridge type implantation (two teeth between two no. Of caps both sides). I want to know is it reliable for life time? If No. Thn what period of time can this im.

BDS
Dentist, Lucknow
To guarantee any thing in health matters is quite debatable as there is no surety for anything none of the doctors will be able to ow your body will react to specific treatment. Although treatment adviced by your dentist is good. Again no guarantee as nobody will be able to figure out that in how much time these teeth can wear off. But if you r going for good quality (zirconia) bridge it will last for near about 10-15 yrs. Let me also tell you that zirconia bridges are on of yhe most expensive bridges. You can opt for signature bridges which also last for 5-7 yrs. You can choose according to your budget.

It seems you might be having periodontal problem. C/as pyorrhea. You need to get rid of it. It needs aggressive therapy. You need to make a habit of rinsing your mouth everytime you eat something and brush regularly (once in the morning before meals and once at night after dinner, add a mouthwash for better oral hygiene.

There is a gap between my front two teeth how can it get fixed n what will be the cost n my age is 25.

BDS

Hello ms, lybrate-user, there are 3 treatment modalities 1. Caping. Close the space by fitting caps on your teeth 2. Braces. This can close your space without making any change to tooth structure. 3. Cosmetic filling- this is the most advanced and a single sitting procedure in which your teeth are covered using a material known as composite and the space is closed. I recmmend you to go for cosmetic filling. Keep smiling tc you may consult me for this:)

Diagnosis is needed first to find out the proper cause of the situation. Then after analysis of your age and other medical conditions-- proper treatment can be suggested. There is too many ways to solve the malaligned teeth. So kindly consult with a cosmetic dentist first.

My teeth pains when I drink or eat cold foods. It is very sensitive and I can't enjoy cold stuffs please help.

At an age of 18+ sensitivity is not good it can either be a cavity or poor gum health. Just a sensitivity tooth paste will not help in the long run.

We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need cleaning, root canal treatment & capping. Until then apply clove oil on the decayed tooth. Rinse frequently with mouth wash.

BDS
Dentist, Jaipur
Sjogren sydrome ko conform karne ke liye we have to do some investigation . Without doing investigation we cant decide any treatment. There are other reasons also of dry mouth. If you are a smoker due to this reason also dry mouth will occurs. Some drug also leads to dry mouth. After finding cause we will better advice you. Untill that you take plenty of water in between shorter interval, chew sugar free chewingum , artificial saliva also available in market. You consult doctor because dry mouth also leads to several other oral problem.

Have crowns on thise particular sensitive teeth. Crowns are same like tooth which covers the vital tooth so that no water or sensitive issues may trigger in that particular tooth. It will result in a total cure from senaitivity. Visit a Dentist and ask him about crown coverage.
