I am 52 yrs female. In hscrp test I get 10.5 points. Is it leads to heart problem. If so what prevention measures I have to taken. Kindly advice.

Yes, it is an indication that there is a high degree of inflammation going on which puts you at risk for heart disease in future. First, get a checkup for heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia and obesity. Check if you have any other chronic inflammatory conditions. They can also give such results. Hs crp is not a specific test for heart disease. After detailed evaluation, treatment will be advised accordingly by your doctor.

I m having diabetes and bp and heart problem. Today I got a message on my what'sapp that a doctor of mumbai has approved a complete curable medicine without any side-effect because it's homely medicine without any chemical and that is take 100 grams of wheat & 100 grams of (jaw) barley & 100 grams of gond of any two trees & 100 grams of kalaunji & in 5 cups of water boil it for half an hour & then filter it & keep it in a bottle. And daily in the morning take two spoons of this medicine & drink it empty-stomach for seven days & then on alternate day for one week. So total course is for two weeks only. And amazingly the acute diabetic patient gets free from diabetes for the whole life. So my question is this that whether this is true or does it needs any type of amendment in processing or usage.

I have no idea about any such medicine. Most of such claims are a hoax. People fall for it and then the condition worsens. In india we have close to 7 crore diabetic patients, number is increasing day by day. If such claims were true then things should have improved much rapidly. World wide only remedy for diabetes is either oral anti diabetic drugs or insulin injections. Rest I leave it to you.

Dear lybrate-user, firstly I hope you have consulted a doctor who is already treating you for your above ailments. Medication in all these cases is very important along with a regular checkup. Diet is apart of your treatment. Low salt, medium carbohydrate high fiber is important as you are a diabetic please avoid sugary products and fats. Regular exercise and ideal weight is the need of your body along with proper minerals and vitamins which you can get through (salads, vegetables, and other supplements).

What is initial stage of high blood pressure and blood sugar? And how we protected our self from those diseases?
Dear lybrate user, the initial stages of type 2 diabetes & blood pressure are known as pre-diabetes and pre-hypertension. The most important fact one needs to keep in mind is that these are predominantly lifestyle disorders hence one needs to lead a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent these. The following tips could be useful: - Sleep well for at least 6-7 hrs everyday - Eat small meals at regular timings everyday, eat well balanced meals. Do not skip your meals. - Avoid eating outside food very frequently (once a week should be fine) - Reduce the amount of salt you take in a day, and preserved/ processed foods (pickles, papad, ready to eat meals, etc) - Avoid too much of coffee, tea, alcohol and stop smoking or taking tobacco - Exercise everyday starting with 20 mins and increasing it to 1 hr (any form like walking, running, swimming, weight training, or even a mix if fine as long as you do it consistently everyday) - Do not take stress about issues, be positive and try to be happy - In case you have a family history, regular check-ups wih your family physician is preferable Though many of these might seem difficult to follow in one go, but slowly you could adopt these measures, which will help you remain healthy and reduce the likelihood of you developing these cardiovascular disorders. Take care!

continue to take medicines for BP fruits as lunch is a good idea compared to outside food. all covered fruits like oranges and coconut are sterile avoid cut fruits from stalls. bananas are complete nourishment and you can combine with curd. every fruit can be taken according to season and constitution. maintained bp sometimes doesn't need medicines if lifestyle management is added stress and anxiety related issues with the help of yoga and meditation maintain weight reduce salt reduce bad fats you can have a katori of assorted nuts for good fats and proteins, as part of lunch.
