I have Ring worm on my neck from last 6/7 months and itching also. Kindly suggest me. Thanks.

BHMS, Diploma in Dermatology
Homeopath, Hyderabad
Ringworm is a common fungal infection of the skin and is not due to a worm. The medical term for ringworm is tinea. Some types of ringworm infection include tinea corporis, tinea capitis, tinea pedis ("athlete's foot"), and tinea cruris ("jock itch") Gently wash and dry the areas of ringworm on your child's body. Wash your hands after applying antifungal cream or shampoo to your child's skin. Keep your child's towels, sheets, clothes, hairbrush, and toys separate.

I am 28 years old and I am suffering from very bad pregnancy marks now in last trimester of pregnancy how can I get rid of it permanently.

I can understand your concern. You can use bio oil until delivery. After delivery you need to use medicated creams to make it less visible.

Hi, I am 23 and I have pimples and it's black spots on face, shoulder and back. Can you suggest any cream or tablets to clear that marks. Also my skin is oily. Can you tell me any cream to avoid pimples in future.

Hi, I am 23 and I have pimples and it's black spots on face, shoulder and back. Can you suggest any cream or tablets ...
The eruption of pimples, acne, black heads, black spots, scars, pores and oily face are due to excessive sebum secreted by sebaceous glands and hair follicles especially on the face. Precautions- * Don't scratch or pinch your pimples. This will cause more damage---causes scars, pores and black spots. * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. *For your information, many skin creams (mostly fairness cream brands) are considered harmful and banned by Central Govt, Health ministry during March, 2016. The Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists and Leprologists (IADVL) supported the ban. *Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. Blocking pores by creams may cause more pimples. HOMOEOPATHIC medicines are taken internally. Hence, NO DIRECT CONTACT with your delicate and sensitive skin, thereby no problem of skin allergy .Homoeopathy has good treatment for your problem without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root cause of the problem unlike face cream which is a surface treatment. Take Antim crd 200—once daily in the morning.

Use a salicylic acid/ glycolic acid based face wash. Get your comedones extracted regularly. Use a water based moisturizer, even oily skin needs hydration. scrub your face two times in week. Use a mud mask weekly. Take salicylic acid or glycolic acid peels every fifteen days or month to improve skin texture, control acne and reduce scars and marks. Take a well balanced nutritious diet and exercise daily. Avoid face massages or application of greasy cosmetics and oils.

Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Egg white works well in order to lighten the pimple marks and the pimple scars. Take a fresh egg and break the egg, separate the egg white from the egg yolk. Apply this egg white on the pimple marks. After 10-15 minutes, wash with the cold water. Baking Soda Take some baking soda. Mix some water with the baking soda and apply this mixture on the pimple marks. Baking soda serves as an agent that carries out micro dermabrasion on the skin and helps to clear the pimple marks on the face and body. Tomatoes Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin A, which helps nourish the dead skin while rejuvenating it. Vitamin A helps by healing the skin and by helping facilitate quick growth of the skin while removing the scars. Using tomatoes to help heal the scars on the skin is not a lengthy process, but it is rather simple. Just take a tomato, slice it and make it into a pulp. Apply the pulp on the face and leave it on for twenty minutes’ time. Then, wash it off with some warm water. You could also mix cucumbers with it. Make a paste out of all of cucumbers and tomatoes and apply as a face mask. Leave it on for half an hour and wash it with some cool water. Follow this method two days at a time every week and observe the results.
