Hi , im going gym daily, I spend 2 hrs in gym in evening hrs, after gym I taking cold water bath & daily im using shampoo for my hair, from last week onwards im observing my hair color is slightly changed & feeling itchy on scalp, is it because of daily wash of my hair or any thing else, I apply weekly twice conditioners & oil on different days. Is it normal to use shampoo daily after gym or not. Please suggest me.

apply bhringraj oil on your scalp then give hot water fomentation..1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep....take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day...take lots of proteins like soyabean...egg white.....etc...avoid tea...coffee...spicy food...fermented food...junk food....apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp....do pranayama early morning........

Eat a lot of good things Protein = building block for your muscles Carbs will help you put on weight, but it won’t be muscle Keep track of everything you eat Compound exercises are your friend Appearance is a consequence of fitness Let your muscles rest Sleep Make it part of your routine Realize you will put on some fat U need to take a high protein high calorie diet.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine alfalfa tonic (sbl) (1tbs) twice a day for 15 days and update. *avoid fried and spicy food *avoid stress and anger. *take a sound sleep. *take milk twice a day *include fruits, vegetables in your diet. *take small meals.

U have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad 7. Avoid constipation 8. Use nibu pani (lemon water) 2/ 3 times a day for medicine contact on private chat.

For fever take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and For loosemotions drink ors solution and to stop the frequency of motions take capsule roko and Avoid spicy food in your diet and eat only curd rice or khichdi and if necessary we should take prescribed antibiotics

I have lost my weight about 2 Kg in last one year. The accumass weight gainer can be taken or not by me, pl suggest. I am diabetic since 1998. My age is 67 years. Height 5 f, 10 inches. At present I take Glypride 2 mg BD. Galvus Met (50 850) before breakfast, Roimet 500 mg OD before dinner, and Winofit OD. My weight has reduced from 75 Kg to 73 Kg in last one year after taking Galvus Met in place of poiz 15. Kindly suggest to maintain the weight. Mr. lybrate-user, Looking at your age, height and weight, your ideal body weight (IBW) should be 177.5 - 100 = 77.5 X 0.9 = 69.75 kgs. Hence I do not see any reason why one should be worried about the weight loss. Your current BMI is 23.17 kgs / M2, which absolutely normal. When a person is on pioglitazone then there is a tendency to add weight, due to that drug's side effect. Vildagliptin is a weight neutral drug and metformin can help in weight reduction if one is over weight. In fact maintaining a good weight close recommended BMI of 23 kgs/M2 is excellent. I do not see any reason why one should think of adding extra at all. Thanks.

1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Hi. As height can be gained till 21 yrs. Of age in males and 18 yrs. In females, so you do have 5 yrs. More to grow further! Medication: Start taking homoeopathic medicines which are safe to take without any side-effects - Bakson's Hite-Aid and Five Phos. - both thrice daily and Thuja 1M/ one dose once a week - take them for 4 months. Management: Consume a balanced diet. A person will look a lot shorter when having a plump body. Not only that, being fit by eating right will make you taller and feel better! Eat plenty of lean protein. Lean protein, such as white poultry meat, fish, soy, and dairy, helps promote muscle growth and healthy bones. Simple carbohydrates such as pizza, cakes, sweets, and soda, are the stuff to stay away from. Eat plenty of calcium. Calcium, found in leafy green vegetables such as spinach and kale, and in dairy (yogurt and milk), helps promote healthy bones. Get enough zinc. Studies, although they have been inconclusive so far, point to a possible link between zinc deficiencies and stunted growth in boys. Good sources of zinc include oysters, wheat germ, pumpkin and squash seeds, lamb, peanuts, and crab. Get enough vitamin D. Vitamin D promotes bone and muscle growth in children, and a deficiency has been shown to stunt growth and cause weight gain in teenage girls. Vitamin D can be found in fish, alfalfa, or mushrooms commonly. 60% to 80% of your height is determined by genes! Apart from these: -Exercise throughout the teen years and in puberty. Get out and about and work your muscles for at least 30 minutes each day. Join a gym, join a sports team, if nothing else, walk around. Do get indulge in stretch exercises, and sports like basketball, volleyball. -Sleeping is the time when your body grows, Get between 9 and 11 hours of sleep per night if you're a preteen or still younger than 20. -Avoid any bad habit like smoking which affects the height, also avoid anabolic steroids which inhibit bone growth in young children and teens. -Always stand straight instead of hunching your back. (You can probably increase your height by a few inches with diet and lifestyle changes, especially if you are still in your teens or even your early 20s (for boys).) Get back to me after 4 months for further guidance. All the Best! For gaining weight: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months.

You cannot increase the height after certain age but you can maintain your weight by proper diet. Include a glass of milk, fruits and green vegetables. Avoid fried foods.

Looks like osteoarthritis knee. Calcium alone wouldn't help. Quadriceps strengthening exercises, cold fomentation.

I am discussing about my mother's problem. She is suffering from the waist pain. Sometimes this pain increases so much that she can not do any work and simply go to lie in the bed. I would like to examine your mother in detail & investigate. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid, vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Bio d3 max 1 tab od x10. Do back, & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that you are not allergic to any of the medicines that she is going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5 days

Dear lybrate user, -Some fruits produce ethylene gas as they ripen in the fridge which overripens & spoils them if kept for more than 1-2 days in the fridge, keep unripe fruits outside for 1-2 days then shift them to the fridge & consume them as soon as possible.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Dear Lybrate user, Take care of your diet first. Do not take rice cold drinks coffee Linda etc. Sweets you must avoid. Do massage daily of your calf muscles at night with seasame oil. Take vitamin D daily with calcium. Also rake echo sprain daily one tablet.

Hi Lybrate User, Some weight gain is normal during / after childbirth... However in Indian households the elders tend to over feed the mothers with too much of Ghee and other high calorie stuff, which leads to excessive weight gain. 1. You can reduce your weight.. step by step. 2. Firstly stop eating all the high oily/ghee stuff. 3. Daily intake of ghee/oil should not be more than 5 teaspoons total. 4. Daily sugar intake should not be more than 4 teaspoons. 5. Eat a variety of fruits. At least 4 fruits daily. 6. Have two full cucumbers daily. 7. Drink 2-3 liters of water daily. 8. Eat lot of vegetables and salads. 9. Stop eating maida stuff, burgers, pizzas, pakoras, potatoes. 10. You don't need to do any crash diet by you can start reducing all the junk food diet. 11. Go for walks daily for 30 mins. 12. Do all this regularly and definitely your weight will come down. All the best.
