Hi . You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation.

I am 62 year old and got pain due to scitica. Some time in left and some time right side. Specially in leg and some time from hip to lower side of leg. I am High BP patient. Sugar level normal. Normal body. Also having stone in GB.

Please follow the exercise (preferably under supervision of a registered physio) and do a x-ray of LS spine at least if not MRI LS spine. Try homeopathy medicines along.

Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation. Use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

Hello, She should reduce her weight, if she is obeassed. Should, Tk homoeopathic medicine:@ Calcarea carb 30-6 pills, thrice. @ Colchicum 1000-6 pills, wkly. Should go for physiotherapy. Avoid, junkfood, cold intake, lifting weight. Tk, care.

Hello sir my dad is severely suffering from back ache since 2 months! The pain starts from left buttocks and till toe, he can't sit and can't walk, its paining a lot to him! I have consulted many doctors like neurologists, ortho and done with many massage, physiotherapy, acupuncture but still he is doing the same! I also asked if this is sciatica, because the symptoms seems to be like sciatica, but doctors said NO! so Im looking for the positive response! Help me out! Thank you!

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

You must not overloaded your stomach with tasty food. Take nutritous diet full of protein and vitamins. Avoid oil and sugar. Drink plenty of liquids and eat salads and fruits. Do massage of your knee with seasame oil daily at night one inch above the knee and one inch below and under the hollow portion of knee andon the shin bone under the knee four inch 15 times each point daily for ten days. Increase your exercise slowly day by day.

Sir, go for Ayurveda's Panchkarma Therapy - We have many option for u - Kati Basti (Specialised Panchakarma procedure for Backpains), Localised Massgae with Herbal oils, Localised Medicated Steam, Pottali Massage. Continue these procedures for atleast 15 days. Regular oiling of the joint will improve the lubrication also. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

The best ayurveda herb for your case is heat 2-4 tablespoons of mustard oil. Fry 2-3 cloves of crushed garlic and a spoonful of pounded omum seeds in it. Cool it to a bearable temperature. Filter and use it to massage a painful joint. Causes compression of the spinal nerve due to ruptured vertebral disc in the spine. Contraction of the piriformis muscle, which may lead to strangulation of the nearby sciatic nerve, resulting in pain. Faulty posture such as slumping on a chair, sleeping in a curved position. Injury that hurts the lower back region can be a triggering cause for sciatic pains. This will help with your concern.
