I want to go for tooth implants suggest the best economical way. According to me i need three implants. Can it be done together / one by one.

Oral Implantologist (New York University), Advanced Aesthetic Oral & Dental Surgeon. BDS (India)
Dentist, Mumbai
Implant is a surgical procedure not usually done by all dentist. If the implant site has adequate bone, (which can be verified by dental CT scan) all implants can be done in single appointment. A good quality implant will be bit more costly than cheaper ones. You can opt in for EMI option to break up the cost.

Sensitivity is a big problem, if you are facing this problem try to use a sensitive paste for a week and if sensitivity persists then you must visit a dentist. Sensitivity can be due to many reasons like:
a) cervical abrasion which happens due to incorrect brushing technique
b) fractured filling
c) chipped tooth
d) dental caries/cavity
e) using a very hard brush
f) gum recession
g) capping a vital tooth
h) improperly done RCT etc
Try to visit a dentist as soon as possible to rule out the etiology behind sensitivity.

I have toothache when I eat any cold drink.

BDS
Dentist,
Kindly get an x-ray done of the tooth having pain. May be you will have to get root canal treatment done followed by a crown or cap. Till then you can take a pain killer like tab ketorol dt 2 tablets dissolved in water. Brush your teeth twice daily using correct brushing technique to maintain your oral hygiene. Also avoid taking cold water as this may cause more pain.

G. Becosules capsule) once in a day for 1 week for faster recovery -apply mouth ulcer gel (e.g. ANABEL -CT / DENTOGEL / DOLOGEL) over affected area It is always advisible to consult a dentist or physician and getting root cause of ulcer checked before jumping to any treatment remedies. My RCT is complete but not put crown over filling. Is it necessary to put crown over filing ya 2-3 months without cap k chal sakta h.

BDS
Dentist, Hyderabad
Hello. Soon after completion of rct the crown is compulsory. Because after the rct the tooth will become non vital. The non vital tooth may fracture easily. To prevent this you need crown on that. So don't delay much. Have crown as soon as possible. Thank you.

Cause for tooth decay ?

BDS
Dentist,
Main cause of tooth decay is sticky carbohydrates like chocolates, bread, snacks, sweets, ice cream, fast foods etc which stick to teeth and gaps between teeth together with improper brushing habits and techniques. It also depends on frequency with which these carbs are consumed. Bacteria in oral cavity convert these carbs into acids which eventually de-calcifies teeth resulting in decay. Hope this helps.

Sugar - How It Affects Your Teeth?

M.D.S, Post-Graduate Certificate in Oral Implantology (PGCOI) , B.D.S
Dentist, Hyderabad
Sugar - How It Affects Your Teeth?

Sugar is an all pervasive substance that is found in most food items although specific ones such as candies, colas and sweet delicacies tend to have more of it. While it may taste great on the tongue, it may not be so good for your body as well as your teeth. Teeth are especially affected by sugar as an ingredient in all items of food. Some of the ways it affects your dental health are discussed below –

  1. Sugar from colas, sodas and other carbonated beverages: Sugar that gets into your body in the form of carbonated beverages are the worst in terms of the nooks and crannies that it gets into. As it is in liquid form, it can swirl around the toughest corner and deposit sugar there. This will encourage the growth of harmful bacteria, causing a host of problems.

  2. Dissolving tooth enamel: Tooth enamel is the topmost layer of teeth. This is the layer which is visible to the naked eye and is white in color. Foods such as chewy candies can leave a hard lump of sugar lodged in your teeth which the saliva in your mouth will not be able to dissolve away. This will keep producing acids and result in the dissolving of the enamel. Enamel protects the nerves of the teeth and thus will result in extreme pain and even tooth decay.

  3. Encourages the growth of plaque: Plaque is an obstructive and sticky substance that forms on many parts of your body, including the teeth. Plaque is an ideal breeding ground for bacteria and these bacteria feed and grow on the sugar from the foods that you eat. These bacteria can cause cavities, gum infections, bad breath, destroy the enamel among causing other dental problems as well.

Some of the other related problems that can be caused by sugar on your dental health are:-

  1. Reduction in the size of your back teeth due to erosion from acids formed from sugar.

  2. Gum infections of various kinds which may end up requiring surgery.

  3. Changes in the bite of a person i.e. the way upper and lower teeth come together.

  4. Sugar may also affect the growth of bacteria in the mouth, which in turn may also cause digestion problems.

  5. Causes bad breath due to buildup of bacteria.
